I think this is one of the things they need to look at next. Giving the right amount of reward to those who finish a game and contribute, regardless of loss or at which point they enter the battle, will be a giant step towards less people leaving, and hopefully to better matchmaking.

100,000. We fill up to fast. I like the rate at which we generate CP, it's faster than I expected. I was surprised to see that we had enough for 2 raids already. Once we begin raiding in earnest we should be able to do it fairly often. We should maybe consider setting up some kind of loose structure of "raider captains" so that we don't have to rely on Shotty leading us into the battle every time.
Speaking of which, what do you think is the earliest you'll be able to participate in a raid Shotty? Obviously caring for the little one takes precedence.
Wait. There may be a common solution. The kid should be the FC for the raid!

Yeah I do think payouts need to be looked at a little bit. To be honest I think pubs are fine, I always seem to get about as much as I deserve based on the number of WP I scored. I've had games where I joined like a minute and a half before the match ended, scored a quick five kills, hacked some stuff, and walked away with 150k ISK.
For FW I'm not too sure, but all I want is for it to reward loyalty standings based on WP even if you lose. I mean yeah I get that this is supposed to be a contract and the "faction" isn't supposed to be too happy about you losing, but sometimes you just can't carry your blues hard enough. The player that fucks **** up and gives it their all despite having little to no chance of winning, THAT'S loyalty. They should be rewarded just as much standings as the winners.

I'd originally envisioned 2-3 active bastards in each region (Oceania, Eurasia, Americas) having the permissions needed to carry out Raids on the fly. Want to FC a Raid? Have enough guys online? Poke a bastard with permissions, assemble your motley crew and on demand. We've taken a casual/unscheduled approach to all other things; mechanics permitting, I'd like to think we'd take the same approach to end-game play. For better or worse :-)
Would love to eventually see a couple pirate crews operating independently in each region. What do have you guys envisioned? What would you guys like to see?

A bastard is a scout. To be a bastard, you have to devote yourself to the scout cause.

Okay okay okay.
A "Bastard" is the epitome of a scout. Scouts are supposed to be fast, hard to detect, and squishy. With high enough skill (and game knowledge), you can abuse you strengths to FAR outpace your weaknesses.
A Bastard is that scout who always manages to sneak in and shotgun your logi.
A Bastard is that scout who always knives you in the back while you try to hack a point.
A Bastard is that scout who ALWAYS MANAGES TO FREAKING GET AWAY.
A Bastard is that scout who makes you paranoid, and always checking you back every few steps.
And so you get mad. You chase him. So do your friends. You all devote yourselves to trying to eradicate this stupid, annoying sh*t with almost no health who seems to be running circles around you and devoting his life to making your game miserable.
This is a bastard. A sadistic little guy in a suit who gets off on messing with your mind, making you paranoid, and making the game as unfun as possible for you. You wanted to play Dust today? WELL TOO BAD. WELCOME TO RESPAWN SIMULATOR 2015
Anytime you encounter a scout who just makes you think "What a d*ck" you've met a Bastard.
How can you achieve this status? Start acting like one.
Start picking on logis and heavies. I put a personal death sentence on every Forger and Gal Logi I see in the game.
Stand close to points that you know are about to be hit and WAIT. Then kill the guy who goes to hack. Run off. Wait. Kill another guy. Pick them off one by one, gleefully as they try to hack a point. If they all start chasing you, send them on a merry chase and RE them around corners. If the whole team starts to show up, RE the point and run away. Then set up at the next point.
Someone trying to hide and forge/snipe in the redline. Show them nowhere is safe. Knife them in the back even if it means dying to redline timer (I have a cheap suit for killing Proto forges like this).
MAKE PEOPLE TILT. They make more mistakes and are even easier to take advantage of now.
I sound like an a**hole don't I? That's the point. I may be nice on the forums, but I aim to be ruthless in game. This is a TEAM based game. Anything you can do that destroys that teamwork is beneficial. And a good scout can mess up so many things at once, its not even funny.
At least that's my take on this. OG Bastards were very much like this. With great eWAR and familiarity with their kit, people like Marauder and Lightning got godly at stomping teams into the ground with discord and chaos.

Do we have enough during our peak times? We'd have to rally the inactives. The question in my mind is, should we reach out to those inactives now or should we wait until we can actually show them a proper Raid?
I (for one) would be uncomfortable calling up an old friend to "Raid" with us, knowing that our "Raid" will be nothing more or less than a PC Attack. And a pointless one at that, as we've no intent or desire to keep what we take. But say, on the other hand, we reached out to that old friend and told him to hop onto Dust anytime and hit up NN to get in on an actual Raid.
In my mind, "hop on whenever and check out what we're up to" is a much more comfortable pitch than "if it fits your schedule, please mark your calendar for 'nintendo time with friends' from 04:00 to 05:30 tomorrow.".
Furthermore ...
Say that friend hopped onto Dust (at his leisure) to find that his old buddies had become proper pirates engaged in noblest of bastards' cause. Terrorize the "L33T"! Pillage their peaceful farmlands! Burn their Blue Donuts! ... that guy, I suspect, would be more likely to stick around and play more Dust than the guy who we rang up to run a PC with us.

Marauder was one scary bastard. The most aggressive player to ever grace new eden. His shotgun burned holes throuh his enemies, as they futilely try to kill him.
