Played about 20 minutes of H1Z1 yesterday. First thing I did was take my jeans off and shred them - now I got the underpants look in case the Pyrex / Roger crew see me. Trying not to read any guides or anything and just have fun figuring stuff out. Not sure how the persistent world part of it works....left myself in a small building next to a service station, closed all the doors, and logged out.
Today I log in: Woah, why are all the doors open. Is this just how it works, or is someone here? Then I see him. Some guy with an axe raiding a cash register in the same building I'm in. ****...I got no weapons and that Pyrex / Roger crew act like other people are the most dangerous things in the game. Bugger....what do I do, I'm going to die. Hmmm lets hide, hope he doesn't see me.
I enter a small room and decide not to close the door...this seems crazy but I am certain that the noise will alert him to my presence and the one unopened door will give me away. I jump up onto a desk, then onto the refrigerator which is handily behind the open door right in the corner...except it's the same height as the door so I'm standing above it in full view. I wonder if the grunting sound I made was as audible as it sounded and hold my breath. I hear footsteps....**** THERE HE IS, HE'S COME INTO THE ROOM...he HAS to see me. He's looking at the desk...death in 5.4.3.2.....what the hell he didn't see me? He just walked out.
Wow...I'm sure I dodged a bullet there...or an axe at least. Now...how the hell do I crouch...CTRL CTRL CTRL...meh what the hell. :: Starts checking key bindings ::
Damn I gotta get the wife involved in this...need backup.

I don't think the majority of epeen wavers could peen wave successfully.
Or at the very least have enough of a visual angle to know whether or not they were actually waving anything.

Told him some of the basic keys, and mentioned he should change a couple around (mostly the auto run)
Really i'm trying to stall for time, when we started talking.....there was a bear behind him. Not super close, but those things will wander closer and closer to u when u aren't paying attention. Slowly but surely Baloo he getting closer and closer till he is in range. First you hear the roar, then u have 3 to 4 steps ..then u are hitting respawn.
We hear the roar, he turns super quick. Me however is trying like crazy to jump on the camper. Dude is running circles around the cars saying "what i do, shoot it shoot it, its a bear!" Standing up on the camper i'm good, him though he is screwed. So he dies, I shoot the bear. Collect my empty water bottle off his dead body and tell him i tried but the bear was just moving so fast. XD
Yeah, he should have heard you jump if u were anywhere near him. At the very least, you just missed ur first fist fight. 9 out of 10 people are not friendly. The 10th is on the PVE servers. Couch is C.
Reason everyone shreds their clothes when they fresh spawn is mostly to make a makeshift bow.

makeshift bow: like 3 pieces of clothe and a stick. what people are wearing is seen alot farther away than the players name. makes it a little easier to tell people apart.
