You have to ignore legion completely (and in fact most of CCP's business events over the past 5 or so years) to think anything of nova. You end up missing a huge pattern. That is why Nova is utterly dismissible. Such in fact, that I needn't ever address it again. Chris Roberts, as a developer, has a long history of success (except that one ****** movie.. but he did make hollywood movies as well) in the video game industry. He has a long track record of developing games that are exceptional for their time. Now ,if you back SC, you get an extremely in depth view of their development. I know the software they use, I have learned so much about texture mapping from their guys, and so on and so forth. They even expose their code. They share their mistakes as well as their triumphs and it is bare and plain to see. That is all factual and on the internet for you to see for yourself. Contrast that with CCP and you can see why it isn't ESP or premonition. A hopeful feeling. Etc. It is technical fact, and it really showcases their progress. And at the end of the day, length of time is a silly metric compared to progress and vision. Their vision is clearly outlined, and their progress is palpable.
