I see no problem doing fun fights along with serious fights, so long as we're up front about what we're doing and everyone's on the same page in advance. We've got lots of guys in different timezones to consider; Otrera out in Oceania, for instance, either stays up super late or gets up super early to fight with us; he should know in advance if we're going to be giving it our all or lol'ing around for kicks.

Again, we've only fought two fights; we've by no means established precedent for future fights. If you guys would like to, we can take a playful approach (i.e. all scouts, PLC only, BPO only, etc) to our next fight. We just need to be careful about managing expectations up front. Send out a corp mail, for example, explaining what we're up to. If we need ringers again, we should be upfront with them about what we have in mind.

Is my thinking unreasonable here?

I just think we aren't thinking large and bastardly enough, even at the beginning. I mean, if we are capping out CP, we are just throwing away opportunities to experiment. I would hate to set an early precedence of sameness. To be fair, the only reason we haven't been doing things bigger or bastardly-er is because no one's tried it. If you want to set a match just for lols and to run strict scout fits all you have to do is pick a target and ask. People found this review helpful!

Give me 32 Bastards, and I'll give you tricks and shenanigans. We were lucky to get 8 of our own online for the past two fights. Our headcounts are improving, but there are only so many angles we can work right now with half a PC team. We're two fights in. So far, we've done the best with what we've had.
