A storm planet that takes place inside of a stucture. The storm outside could interfere with base electronics and cause lights to dim. Maps could be organic and give you the option to open hangar doos to the storm causing EMP to interfere with the map, for example.

I think you guys should add Island wise tropic area and for Skirmish have multiple islands with the Null Cannons on one making you guys needing to add boats as a starter vehicle and you could add tanks that can float over water and dropships well stay as drop ships. |

With 40 pages, I'm pretty sure someone already said what I am about to say, but anyways here we go.
One of the things I am really willing to see in Dust 514, knowing that the Eve Universe is gigantic and knowing that there are hundreds of thousands of planets plus various planet types, is the Lava/Gaseous/Ice Planet battlefield.
Also, not all the planets are the same, even if they have the same type, the number of moons is different, some have rings others don't.
I mean, can you imagine the possibilities? Night maps where you can see 2 moons and the a portion of the ring maybe... That would be fantastic.
I know my suggestion is not that innovative because these elements are already WITHIN New Eden. And as said on a Video, Dust mercs are wearing dropsuit that are equivalent to a tank, with environment systems, ultra heat resistance... We would fight anywhere in the freaking universe without breaking a sweat. If there is money/fun/honor/money/money/money, we will be there fighting for those planets.

Onboard stations/titans, with tight quarters, wide open cargo bays, and plenty of glass to break.
Onboard ships (small, four on four or eight on eight engagements). Boarding action types with clearcut goals to achieve.
Dome colonies where the entire battlefield is locked under a protective barrier/shield ... which might be able to be broken!
Asteroid face, defending that great mercoxit ORE asteroid that made them so famous. Players walking in the void of space.
Metropolis', with wrecked vehicles and abandoned apartments in a lush temperate climate.
Ice, lava, or other 'harsh' worlds, where the man-made structures are few and far between and the environment is as much a danger as the enemy. |

Horizon Every time an EVE ship jumps to another star system, it requires a large amount of work from the thousands that live inside the grand structures, as well as traffic clearance from the sister gate at the destination. A takeover attempt would not only disrupt this for a time, but allow nullsec owners to hire NPC customs agents to fire at their enemies.
Layout: close-quarters, with a few plasma airlocks leading into the artificial wormhole. Defenders in the control room can trigger the windows to deactivate, forcing attackers to take a journey of a few trillion KM in a matter of seconds.
Entry: Requires use of an EVE Codebreaker to deactivate the "pacifist" security to bring weapons onboard. Other than that, a standard space-capable Heavy Dropship can force open an exterior airlock to get some troops inside.
Objective: reach the Traffic Control room, and hack the station over to your control. At the end of the battle, the automated security scoops every salvageable weapon and jettisons it into the surrounding space, requiring an EVE salvager to pick up. Equipment sucked through the wormhole appears in the other system, at the sister gate. |

People have mentioned forest planets before, but before designing levels consider this: Science fiction is the realm of imagination. Don't go around simply emulating Earth forests. There are a billion billion planets out there, and the odds of an extremely fertile one existing are very high. In short, we want SUPERMASSIVE trees or other, alien plants that look almost nothing like earthen plants. Most of the maps we have now follow the "Brown is realistic" trope; this is your chance to give us an absolutely vibrant map, filled with neon bioluminescent wonders. Enormous flowers, tubers, venus clone traps. Let your creativity run wild.
In the same vein of thought: Ever seen an abandoned insect hive? Like an entire colony just got up and left? Well same concept as with the forest. The odds of a planet developing massive and mysterious insectoid species is very high given the number of planets out there. Make it a massive hive, a cave system, something akin to the level in Half Life 2 with the antlion den, but without the creatures. (Or with them, although I'm unsure if you could pull that off.) Go for it, CCP. Shake up the map design a bit. |

Make a make that has big trees and like green water that can hurt u if u step in it or u can make a map were a ship has crashed in a ocean planet and we have to battle it out in a ship that has cover but u have to play smart in order to survive. Those are my suggestions but let your imagination run wild. |

Large asteroid. Roughly spherical map so if you keep running, you end up right where you started.
Underwater facility with transparent connecting tunnels.
Outdoor/indoor industrial shipyard with lots of smoke/smog and ships under construction.
Underground facility (think Umbrella Corporation) with multiple levels in some sort of attack/defend scenario.

In this new build I'd like to see things opened back up some. Get some larger areas to make things different. all these closed in maps are great if you want to run around with an AR all the time, which I don't. |

Ok, so the maps are 5x5 km long, but we play in 800x600 m long areas.
Lets use more space, make vehicles more important on a map or two. Lavs and dropships will have a bigger role to play.
Maybe on this same map, have a central underground facility with several ways of entering so that it really hard to hold if you don-Št work as a team. This way, the underground team is safe from OB but are able to retreat using one of the multiple entry points if they are over run.
I am thinking in a 6 letter map, (or 5 maybe) one in every corner, so that way you need to take a Lav or dropship or if you want you can run from one place to each other, that way the closer any null cannon can be from each other is 250m, and the furthest is 750m. and in the middle, if a 6 cannons map, a cannon on a floor level and the other one deep under ground (150m or 200). And if it is a 5 lettered map only the underground cannon. |

Suburban warfare map. taking place on a planet that hasn't been inhabited for a few hundred years. The scene would always be that desolate brown map with dusty wind. With several large buildings, 5-7 stories tall that have been gutted like this on http://mceer.buffalo.edu/1906_Earthquake/images/call_building_gutted.jpg or, you know, the majority of Detroit :p
The rest being houses, also gutted, with a large refinery in the center, representing the reason we're fighting over it. Houses and buildings have all been cleared from it, with 4 roads leading to it wide enough for 2 HAVs to pass each other by. minimum distance from two houses is 34m when separated by a former street, probably ones with lots of erosion.
Skirmish version has 5 points, replacing houses, and OMS structures land in the graves of fallen houses. Map size 1600m x 1200m |

a space battle between 2 ships firing at each other while teams try to board each others ships through dropships and fighters located in the main hanger of the ship, jet packs could also be a means of travel and combat out in space and at the end which ever team loses their ship will blow up.
the players main objective would be to sabotage the enemy teams ship while holding off the attack on their own ship. |

I would love to see some inside ship combat. Something with objectives also like being able to turn gravity off, sealing off parts of the ship as you go. Evacuating the air out of a chamber or section of the ship as an objective. Blast apart the ship with grenades and such. |

A forest kind of environment. With lots of trees and maybe small campsites which teams only have for a night but that mistakenly encountered eachother. BTW maybe you guys could also create a new gamemode, like capturing a certain information of the enemy team, kind of Capture the flag, but you have to hack maybe a computer or something and bring it to your base. Plus, could you guys try adding bikes, just like in Battlefield 3? Cuz that would be extremely awesome!!! =D |

You guys could try a map that is similar with Mars or Earth's Moon. In mars there would be a really low amount of structures and maybe we could see some of those NASA's inventigating machines going around in the map (just for dynamic purposes). In the Moon we would also have a low amount of structures but maybe lots of cables and maybe one of those astrounaut small ships landed and make it as an objective, also low gravity (maybe the same gravity that Earth's moon has?). Maybe an old ship with valuable info for all the armies and they are trying to get that infothat belonged to their ancestors. xD Hope you like these ideas I'm putting. :)
