I'm extremely-prematurely excited about this game moving to space stations. I expect that will be several years down the line, because there are a whole lot of logistics to work out for that.
I really like the idea of environments with tactical hazards--underwater stations with floodable compartments, orbital stations with airlocks, mines with collapsible tunnels. Massively vertical maps that allow you to sabotage elevators or have free-falling firefights. Making the environment a factor in how the game plays would add enormous variety to the tactical arsenal. |

Lava map which has floating platforms and lava shouting up. Players have to jump and shoot and if you can a jetpack stations to get jetpacks without having to waste isk and remember to have a big plant where there can be bots working. |

Don't know if its been brought up but how about a barren ice land map, or one with no natural light. you could also consider an island where the rest of the planet is water, as well as one with very low gravity. Just a thought. |

I would like something like a resource denial objective. Go to a planet, with access to somesort of transport craft, grab a prepacked resource box and try and get it to a launch pad. Send it into space for someone to fly in and swipe it. |

I don't know about you guys but I think it would be a great idea to have a planet with extremely low light, almost pitch black, in which you have to fit your dropsuit with a special night vision or heat sensing modules to see.
Or have a gas planet in which you fight on floating platforms or buildings, so that the only way to get from one platform to another is to FLY. Just imagine having the MCCs weave in and out between platforms to try and dodge each others fire while dropships and jets (of some sort) try to capture objectives as platforms shift up and down left and right. Like having a pure dogfight match for people who love to fly .
Maybe even boarding EVE players ships or old abandon stations trying to weave through autocannon fire, open airlocks, or corridors sealing off to trap DUST mercs in a tight manageable space as they try to assassinate the pilot or loot the station. But this idea I'm sure wont be out in the final finished version. Maybe in a later update in a couple of years. I'm just letting my imagination go wild.
Ultimately maps that truly force a player to adapt to the environment or situation in a sudden and dynamic way are great maps to me. |

I was wondering if you guys could set up a planet sort of like Mustafar from starwars, like a volcanic planet covered in ash and erupting volcanos seems a litttle far fetched but if it could be done i would love to see it. Another i would love to see is a planet covered in caverns, with me being a player i would love to have ways to flank enemies by going into a dark cave of somesort, of course the caves would need to be big so players could also have the chance to have an all out war in an underground cavern. |

Map's with variable gravity? I was thinking that in EVE the planets can be different sizes. In PI I would choose the smallest to save Cpu/power grid from linking buildings together. |

underground cities.
i'm picturing a "outdoor" setting to run around but the whole area is underground because they couldn't survive on the surface for whatever reason. You would look up and see the "grown above you in maybe a dome shaped as it is being held up by the cities force field.

id like to be able to reload while in sprint, as well as customizable reticles and scope views i dont like the mountainous terrain much as it is confusing pathing and firing angles on the ridges and becomes invisible in the distance

Under ground bunker with tunnels and multi floor levels. Secret passage ways / vents. Like a missile silo, but maybe a under ground hanger or ship building complex. Were you have interaction and switchx which lock off some routes but open others or seal of areas slowly killing anyone in that area.
^^this could also be a under water complex were attackers are trying to damage the inherits of the facility and defenders trying to save the station. Each cap point would represent a area of the map. Each area would have a certain amount of tickets. Once all the tickets in a certain area are gone that area floods. So in effect the map gets smaller and smaller until all areas are defended or lost. Attackers have a limited amount of clones. Defenders have limited tickets per area.

Have the developers pick a CCP Favorite Classic game, recreate part of that games world in dust. Only shows up in random ambush instant battles on April 1st.
Who would'nt like to see a Gunnlogi accompanied by drop suits tromping over Hyrule field. Or a dropship landing on the castle top in mushroom kingdom to rain hell down on us all. Epic.
PS: If you add a capture the flag mechanic I vote that mushroom kingdom be capture the flag with princess peach as the flag. Lol! This is such a bad idea. |

i for one would love to see close work between Eve Corps and Dust Players to coordinate null sec strikes from inside a station and full attacks on the solar systems. Strategically crippling a station then having the rest of the corp fully assault the system. Even if your not part of a particular corp, that's what dust is about right? mercenaries?
probably hell to program but still a nice idea. |

I am new to this particular game so I don't care what story elements you pick, it will all be new to those of us from PS3 world. But whatever maps you make, for goodness' sake try using a little COLOR! This is supposed to be a scifi space action shooter set on differing worlds. Try not to make them all the same shade of unrelenting grays and charcoal, steel and gunmetal. Try some vegetaion too, it doesn't have to provide cover but surely stuff GROWS on some of these planets? |

Minmatar training grounds. Think firing ranges for big weapons, buildings with large entrances for practicing brute force invasion tactics, lots of tank and ship debrie scattered everywhere (because I don't think they clean up after themselves well), and downed cruisers for boarding practice. |

Fighting within a ship! Be it orbating the planet or a crashed ship on a planet. I am fairly certain that with all the constant battles in Eve there would be at least one giant size ship we could fight in. |
