I would love to see a map that would be similar to the Siege of Stalingrad. This would fit in well in the faction warfare area. Think about it. Some sort of city... lets say a Caldari city, all nice and shiny. Now, lets take that city and lob explosives at it for a while. Now it's nice and war torn, with roads littered with rubble, corpses, and ruined machinery. This would be an epic skirmish map as the AA batteries (or whatever they are) would be set up in a factory type building, an apartment building and the last one maybe in a plaza of some sort. Securing these post would be extremely challenging (and fun) as most of it would be close quarter combat and using vehicles would be very advantageous but tricky. Tanks would be an excellent source of suppressing firepower but countered with some sneaky mercs with some explosives (det packs are fun >:D ). Drop ships would be very entertaining to watch by bad pilots as they slam into the walls of the buildings and the LAV's would probably be your best bet on this kind of map. If your still having trouble picturing this, imagined the New York map from Nuclear Dawn, but bigger and with vehicles.
Also, snow maps should have blizzards that alter the landscape. Wind blows snow around and stuff, possibly covering up one entry way but opening another and stuff like that. Having a decent weather mechanic would go amazing with the map idea I just said.
Also also, sad to say, a battle to assassinate a pod pilot, as cool as it would be, wouldn't fly. But I do support maps on space stations and outpost, and maybe have the shipboard battles on the npc titans? I know there is at least one, need more though. |

On the subject of mega-chain corporations, i'd like to see a map where we're protecting the interests of iconic New Eden corps, with some unique mechanics altering the gameplay here.
Quafe would have a facility that processes base ingredients into delicious, highly "ethical" soda. Holding the entire facility allows you to sample product for a temporary buff. Quafe+ factories would be linked to the Biomass facility, and carry a different 'sample' buff.
Corporations related to the old Crielere Labs would have (very expensive) facilites able to "dissappear" entirely when under threat, while also cutting TACNET and comms from any enemies inside. This forces commanders to send in independent squads to de-activate the cloak before rolling in the main attack force.

Small team with no re-spawn (6-8) vs 20+ re-spawn with a clone reserve cap in which you have to move through the decks of a ship in space or some structure to secure an objective at the end.
A linear map where intel is a must to know where to go.
A large asteroid with no atmosphere where space is the sky.
A storm planet where different layers of the atmosphere require special suits and lighting can kill.
Protection / rescue of colonist, slaves or any other commodity.
Theft of technology or secrets from a well guarded structure that gives intel for the next battle.
One space ship on EVE drops a group of mercs on the hull of another ship in EVE. The mercs have to fight on the hull of the ship and then advance inside to place a drop link and take over the ship so it can be used in EVE for spying or whatever.
Sabotage missions with Metal Gear type tactical espionage against slavers and slave dogs.
Recon and scout missions into mountains with rivers, waterfalls and other jungle type things.
Moons with different gravity and atmospheres.
Peacekeeping missions to refugee camps.
Secure and hold missions that have a window of time that the base has to be held while something happens.
An ice cave where things fall from the ceiling and all of the walls and turns look the same.
Escaping from a downed dropship on the inside of a lightly active volcano in enemy territory with vital intel.
Advancing onshore to fight and return to an ocean.
Lastly, sometimes the missions should go bad on purpose at random. Like the dropship in a volcano, the mission would start out as normal with a small group of "professional" mercs flying in, landing and obtaining whatever. However on takeoff the ship is downed and the pilot and his crew have to escape to deliver the package. I think that this type of random event would add to the fun, the missions would come with a risk that did not involve other players just bad luck. Engine failure, bird strikes, weapons fire, pilot error and bad intel mess things up all the time. I think it would be fun to have those in the game.

I know I said this before, but I cannot emphasize enough how much I love the look of the environment from the Fanfest 2012 Immortal Cline trailer because of the view of a planet from a moon. These little aesthetic things in environments (like being able to view a planet) makes big difference, and from what I seen so far, environments are pretty bland. |

A map "two maps" or whatever I mean they could really add somthing to the game here.... Two planets/moons that are "very close" together or at least in range... You can travel from one to the other through a high speed low pressure device that uses electro magnetic pulses to push you extremely fast to the other side... I say extremely fast but obviously a very close planet is still around 4million miles away so it would take a few seconds to get there, so you can see the animation and maybe still use your wepon. that way one battle is expanded on two planets... Maybe have one uplink on one planet and the other2 on another forcing the players to use the device and making a whole new perspective of... Let's play on "this map" |

How's about this: A giant space prison where players play as convicts and space marines fighting each other in the the multistory prison. The map would be great for straight up team death match. Also players could also fight outside the prison in spacecrafts. Who's with me here guys and gals?EDIT this game also seems a lot like halo so a map similar to 1 of halos would be a funny easter egg don't do this if there is legal trouble though! |

I was thinking and considering how planets are split up into districts scattered around the planet which are the maps we fight on generally outlined by the color BLUE what if there were different types of districts.
A district outlined by the color GREEN could be your hunting districts where you're tasked to capture or kill a certain monster in a tie limit and you could then sell this animal on the market which could some how be used to build something to then sell to other players
Or a RED district can be your mining missions which don't have to have a time limit basically it's a way for a Dust member to get into mining and sell it to EVE players.
This was really just a passing thought that I thought was kinda interesting... |

I noticed the star map looks like it's going to play an integral role; what about commodity / contraband centered objectives based on that current systems market? Teams would try to secure goods or contraband to affect their market value or security rating in that system which could reflect in EVE. Successful teams could then in turn receive discounts on the specific items they use on Dropsuit fittings or on market specific items in that system.
So the map could be the cargo hold of a station or take place inside a freighter traveling through the system with the corresponding planets, moons, and other distinguishing features visible.

I think if its possible or if your not already thinking of doing it you should make some of the maps have night time variations. That would add other strategic thing to the game and other challenges people will have to overcome. |

Can we please have a Landfall Map that has a 3rd party NPC that is hellbent on causing destruction to either team. im sure a lot of indigenous lifeforms would disapprove of their planet being terraformed by Eve "gods"
Also More weather effects Static discharges, acid clouds and Black Dust or Fog storms also landblock deterrents such as Lava, Acid And Water pools, these are Alien worlds after all, Not every M class planet is 100% suitable for life.

I was thinking about this the other day and as I was fighting looked up and saw a great possible map in front of me.
The skyscrapers. So here is my idea.
Imagine 30 floor or so. With staircase either then that only go up say 3 floor then you have to go else where for the next 3 etc. One team starts at the top, one at the bottom. Now here is the interesting part. Each team only has two spawn point, and no player created ones.
As they move through the tower they can hack spawns which exist on every 3rd floor. But doing so switches off the further way of the two spawn already in use. So the spawn points move with the player. The goal is to push the other team either out the top or bottom.
No vehicles and close quarters fighting. If possible breachable wall to create different pathways. The goal of this map is to make a fast paced battle where working together is the key. No point storming the other team if you team mate chuck a nade down the stairwell. This might also work well with limited number of clones. Heavies would be struggling to keep up, but at the same time if they get into position become a real threat to covercome |

I was thinking that it would be good to see a large city with very tight streets. this will cut down on the pesky tower campers make it hard for tanks to attack but make them easy to be taken out. I think it will be nice for the light trucks to be used. |
