Looking through the numbers, it once again pisses me off that people not abusing something get the shaft.
I dislike the changes to myos.
I am sure that they were the easiest changes to make given the problems, but it is frustrating that they can never fix the problems with scalpels, but must always use chain saws instead.
I haven't played, not because of one thing, but because of the thousand tiny paper cuts that just keep adding up.
Hopefully they are able to fix some big things to make up for it, and I really want to play, I just know I would get incredibly frustrated.

Assess the Reasons Why the 1905 Revolution Occurred in Russia
There are a number of reasons why the 1905 Russian revolution occurred, and it was the culmination of these factors that resulted in revolution, rather than just the effects of a single cause. Regardless, some of the causes of revolution were more significant and influential than others. The key causes of the 1905 revolution were the events of Bloody Sunday, the already standing long-term problems of the country, the role of Tsar Nicholas II, the aftermath of the Russo-Japanese war, and the role of the opposition parties.
The 1905 revolution began with the events of Bloody Sunday. On the 22nd of January 1905, Father Georgy Gapon led a peaceful march of workers to St PetersburgGÇÖs Winter Palace. His intention was to deliver a petition requesting the tsarGÇÖs help in achieving numerous changes related to working in Russia, e.g. wage rate fixation and the reduction of the working day to eight hours. The marchers were fired upon and charged by cavalry, resulting in up to two hundred protesters being killed.
This event severely tarnished the reputation of the tsar, who used to be seen as the GÇÿLittle FatherGÇÖ of Russia, who would take care of his citizens. Naturally, Bloody Sunday made people extremely distrustful of the tsar. The immediate reaction was widespread disorder and chaos. Strikes occurred in all the major cities and towns. The widespread rioting encouraged the mutiny of the Potemkin, wherein which the crew killed most of the captains and took control of the vessel.
Bloody Sunday was just the final event that kick-started the revolution though. The underlying long-term issues of the country played a significant role in the attitudes of the people. There were economic problems, high taxes, bad living and working conditions, recent poor harvests, political, religious and social oppression, and corruption in the legal system. Russia was seen as a GÇÿbackwards countryGÇÖ at the time by many people. Whilst Sergei Witte was working hard to invigorate RussiaGÇÖs economy, he focused primarily on heavy industry and neglected agriculture. Russia was also made reliant on foreign loans and investments. The Trans-Siberian Railway, which took great amounts of time and money to build, actually had little impact on industry and did not improve east-west migration much.
Tsar Nicholas II himself was also very played a great role in the lead-up to the 1905 revolution. Nicholas was extremely reactionary, a trait he had adopted from his childhood tutor, Konstantin Pobedonostev. Pobedonostev viewed the Russian people as vulgar, uneducated and uninformed. He considered representative democracy a waste of time, and he believed that autocracy was the only form of government that would be suitable for Imperial Russia. Pobedonostev was also racist, and organised many pogroms GÇô fierce persecutions which often involved killing Jews.
Many of PobedonostevGÇÖs opinions were passed onto Nicholas. These manifested into two main policies GÇô Russification and anti-Semitism. Russification was the enforcement of restrictions on non-Russian minorities by emphasising the superiority of all things Russian. The official language was declared to be Russian, and as such all legal proceedings had to be conducted in Russian. Russification resulted in much more open discrimination against non-Russians. This was counter-productive to pursuing unity within the country, since many of the citizens residing in the vast Russian empire were not actually Russian. This oppression resulted in racial, religious, and cultural tensions.
Anti-Semitism was rife under the rule of Nicholas II. Over 600 new measures were introduced against Jews, which hindered them socially, economically, and politically. The most outstanding of these new policies was the requirement that Jews live separate from non-Jews in discrete districts. There was a massive increase in the number of attacks on Jews. Similarly to Russification, these policies alienated many of RussiaGÇÖs citizens during a period when unity and cohesion were required. Many of the oppressed Jews joined anti-tsarist groups in the 1890s.
In 1904, Russia went to war with Japan. This was intended not only to compensate for lost territory in the west and obtain an ice-free port, but also to unite the nation with a shared, patriotic aim and distract from RussiaGÇÖs domestic problems. Japan was assumed to be a small, easy target, and a decisive victory against the Japanese was hoped to improve public morale. However, the conflict did not go as planned. Japan was much more prepared than Russia, and Russia was subsequently humiliated. The Russian military was revealed to be incompetent and the government rash in their decisions. Public morale was shaken and the dismal performance in the war contributed to the social unrest prior to the 1905 revolution.
The revolutionary groupsGÇÖ contributions to the 1905 revolution were surprisingly minimal. Among the high-profile revolutionary individuals, only Leon Trotsky was involved heavily in the revolution. This suggests that most of the revolutionary parties were not actually prepared for a revolution at that time.
In conclusion, the Russian revolution of 1905 was the result of a culmination of factors, the most important of which included Bloody Sunday, the already-standing long-term economic conditions of the country, and the oppressive policies of Nicholas II. The failed war with Japan also contributed to the social unrest leading up to the revolution by reducing public morale. The revolutionary groups, however, played little part in the revolution, suggesting that they were unprepared.
