The Cal Logi was fully balanced, the other suits should have been brought up to be so as well. Now we have 4 Frames unbalanced as opposed to 3. Which means more work in the end to re balance them, as they have said this is temporary till they can figure out a better balance.

That would put it back on EHP level of the assault, but still with higher cost. Then add 1 more Equip to the Assault. Leave the Bonuses on Logi and Assault as they serve their function well. Yet no where have you suggested a good fix, only criticize. No where have you shown facts to support your OP argument in suit fit for its role. The suit needs work, yes. However the proposed change is not fixing the issue. i wasent sarcastic! calling me stupid is also a strong arguement! and then you proceed to argue that you can balence with isk and sp.. that worked reall well in eve! im looking at you Titans

To those of the mentality that a Logi shouldn't carry an advanced/proto weapon - please tell me why the Amarr Logi has access to a sidearm? After all, Logis shouldn't be killing, just healing/resupplying, right? Unless your sidearm shoots nanite darts, there's no point in having one! |

Great changes! I don't understand however all the whinning about the reload speed...That was probably one of the worst racial bonus ever. Let's say you use an AR, your 3 seconds reloading would become 2.6, not a big deal (without the AR reloading speed skill). Considering there are many valuable things to invest SP in, I dont think the AR reloading speed is worth it. At least I wouldt spend 2.7 million for the proto suit + (1.2mil?? Not sure about that one) just just for realoading faster. It is always useful, yes, but learning when to reload and disengage doesn't require SP and will do the trick for the most part.

Beginning of Uprising 1.0, I didn't have enough SP to get into A-Logi to Proto-level (Without using MLT weapons for the next month or so...And if I did skill into weapons, I'd have no suit upgrades), so I got the ADV suit, some weapons, and then realized that the A-Logi was broken.
-Uprising 1.1, I skilled into G-Logi for the fitting bonus, plus realizing that down the line, Armor would be buffed, or Shields would be nerfed, making Armor Tanking viable. Also because i don't play an Assault role. If I'm in a squad, every minute or so I'll ask who needs ammo and who needs repping. I play a support role.
--Uprising 1.2, new modules released. Was already skilled into them (Requires same skills as Armor Plates and I use Enhanced Plates), and after testing, they're still not balancing armor. By this point, I'm wondering if they'll EVER have a fix, and what it will be.

Caldari Scout/Logi LAVs, Assault Derpships, and the like) that isn't even that good for my particular playstyle. I'm at about 6.5 million SP, in advanced suits, the WRONG suit, and with about 80-90% of my SP into stuff I couldn't have known any better about.
Some people didn't get Logistics for an Assault role. Some people got it so they could support their squad. So respecs aren't a super dumb thing to ask for when the A-Logi is finally viable to fill a nice role. C-Logis? 80% of them got it for the Logi-Assault hybrid class. To them, I'd say no respec. The other 20%, however, who originally wanted something that is now fixed, I say go ahead. And I bet you a trillion ISKies that I'll get a 'It's your fault for not knowing better idiot' on this. And honestly, what would you do if you were put in my/our situation? Because I'm not HALF of what I could be right now. |

Moving the efficacy bonus of extenders to the assault class will just make the Caldari assault OP. The problem before was that the Caldari assaults could not take down their logistics counterparts when going one-on-one with them. I wish we could have more info on the stats they are planning on implementing for the 'final' logi suit racial bonus, if the suit is losing 20 base cpu so that caldari repair tools regen a percentage of shields as well as armor,or has a 25% bonus to range and efficacy, or nanohives that also regen shields or have a 25 percent efficacy, or +1 to number of deployed or total nanohives I would be excited as a logi... if the bonus ends up being 10% more clones spawning on an uplink I never would have speced into calogi in the first place...yes I chose to build a character with extra shields but was really torn between the hacking speed and equipment cost reduction bonuses too... so fingers crossed I guess.. |

Everyone who claims that people using caldari logi as a "flavor of the month" would you please let me in on your ways of gaining SP. I cap every week and use boosters yet it has taken me much longer than a month to get the sp required for a proto suit. I won't even go into the SP spent in the shields that have been jacked around. I still do not have my equipment's past advanced. So once more I'm asking please how have any of you gained the sp needed to use this class as a flavor of the month. Far as the changes coming our way I want to give all players a heads up because Caldari logi will now have a much harder time running through fire to revive. Also please don't get angry with use if we do not repair you as flux grenades are dropping close by.

So yes, expect less revives now due to us being so much easier to kill, less reps again due to the same issues, and more of us sniping. Looks like CCP and our CSM did a fine job of getting Logi's back into their roles....

You just rendered the 3.4 million in skill points I spent on suit upgrades that much less effective than some one else's.... how is this balancing again?
Dropsuit Core Upgrades 195 = 1.95 per level and 9.75 at level 5 (before changes)
175 = 1.75 per level and 8.75 at level 5 (nerfed to)
Electronics Upgrades 195 = 9.75 per level and 48.75
175 = 8.75 per level and 43.75
So right off the top it is not just taking 20 cpu it is taking 26 cpu
But wait there is more, now the Module CPU Upgrades Basic 16% Enhanced 25% Complex 35%
195 = 16% = 31.2 195 = 25% = 48.75 195 = 35% = 68.25
175 = 16% = 28 (-3.2) 175 = 25% = 43.75 (-5) 175 = 35% = 61.25 (-7)
So at the end of the day CCP is saying that the cal logi doesn't need to have at most an additional 33 cpu that all the other logi suits get to have... how is this considered balanced?
I refuse to use a repair tool, why because I'd rather use my own gun, so I use repair nano-hives and keep fighting usually defending myself...if I can't do that anymore there is no point to me playing follow the fat suit or tank around repping them. |

Why not Some Changed to the Scout Suits, i think they need to be re-looked at in terms of speed... even though i haven't been to active lately i'd like to see the scouts getting more speed. perhaps at the cost of not having as much ammo or something along that lines? |

You mean like the slowest, fewest-slotted suits in each class? Or the AV that doesn't exist yet? Or the vehicles that don't exist yet? And will likely have the fewest slots in all the vehicle classes?
The only "advantage" the Amarr have over anyone else at the moment is that they have a heavy suit.
Didn't I already point out all this stuff to you in the Commando thread?
The Amarr logi had the lowest fitting values when compared to the other logi suits, had less highs and less lows and less equipment slots, all for the addition of a sidearm slot at proto level only.
Unless you're an avid heavy (and non-Amarrian loyalist), I really hate to have to stoop to this, but do you even DUST? |

I havent got reps or revives regularly since chromosome! What i HAVE got from logi suits has been a plethora of killscreen action, usually in the form of ck.0/mk.0/ak.0 and duvolle/core flaylock. Also FOTM refers to spreadsheet nerds using respec to build uber suits on paper...basically what this game is all about.
But here'sthe the rub: the injector brokeness shaped the way new players learned the game. Now that injectors work again, perhaps more will choose equipment over primary more often...even more so when logi bonuses are NOT oriented to tank/gank. Perhaps vast increases to rep/rez radius will debunk the myth that logistics need enough tank to rescue teammates in the middle of a live fire zone...or bunnyhop around the map with a core flaylock going 26/1.
But you logi slayer feel free to keep it up. After all, CCP has already done their worst, right? |

The new bonus means that you'll be out of the action for less time when shields are damaged/depleted.
The new bonus did not devalue *any* of the sp you already spent. Extenders are still necessary and still valuable.
Flux grenades make shield tankers run, explosive grenades make armor tankers dead, for they don't have the shield to absorb it.
The CPU reduction does make fitting a bit tighter, but holy f***ing s**t that's not even what you're complaining about.
Seriously. The "wahh wahh my +25% shield HP over every other suit (aside from heavies - though they could still outshield-stack them)" is getting really old. It's a meritless argument because with 5 highs and 4 lows, the Caldar Logi is still and extremely flexible frame, made even more so by it's multitude of equipment slots. This change did not make the logi useless, and if you needed all that extra shield hp to make it out of situations alive, what you need to do is to stop running into the middle of the enemy team. |

What i HAVE got from logi suits has been a plethora of killscreen action, usually in the form of ck.0/mk.0/ak.0 and duvolle/core flaylock. Also FOTM refers to spreadsheet nerds using respec to build uber suits on paper...basically what this game is all about. But here'sthe the rub: the injector brokeness shaped the way new players learned the game. Now that injectors work again, perhaps more will choose equipment over primary more often...even more so when logi bonuses are NOT oriented to tank/gank. Perhaps vast increases to rep/rez radius will debunk the myth that logistics need enough tank to rescue teammates in the middle of a live fire zone...or bunnyhop around the map with a core flaylock going 26/1. But you logi slayer feel free to keep it up. After all, CCP has already done their worst, right?
Again, you are missing the point. The point being there were other, better ways to fix the Logiassault players. Yet the fix they chose is one that will discourage Logi's from even being the support they are designed.
So because someone PLANS their build, vs just specing into it blindly, you think that is FOTM? Sorry if you just jump in feet first, but when some of us spend millions of SP on suits, we want our builds to be right. Especially since there is no respecs and making an alt starts back @ 500k SP.
I love the fact you think it's myth we need the 87 EHP more to rep/rez... please do enlighten us to the facts then since you have obviously played the role much more?
Also since you brought up bunnyhopping, please do tell me a list of other suits that do not do it? Heavies are about the only ones unable to do so.

There were better solutions to fixing the assault Logi's than what was done. Instead of breaking the only balanced suit, they chose to break it as well as further break the assault version.

You're right, we should stop res'ing, stop rep'ing people so we aren't under fire from the other team.
No one is saying it isn't a flexible frame. What is being said is that the "wahh wahh" the assaults had of 87 EHP difference was merit less.
The point is that there was NO OP issue. The issue was with fitting a duvolle on a suit that was not an assault class. I don't see people crying about Heavies doing it with the new commando suits, nor assaults doing it, or a scout doing it... Their QQ was about a Logi doing it.
And yes, the 20 CPU will limit a Proto Logi running proto equip from fully equipping his slots without bumping some gear down to adv. Name any other suit that has that issue? The worst part is the Basic and Adv suits really get screwed all because some assault players don't have the skills to kill a Logi.
So who really is "wahh wahh"? Care to check the forums for the "Cal Logi is OP " threads?
I have already agreed that the suit needed a rework, but what they did was not fix the issue. it is still possible to fit 1100+ EHP and a core flaylock on the suit, so how has this fixed the Logiassault issue?
