The camp arguing that DUST should be anchored on a console is missing the big picture, and this isn't the thread to argue. I would like to give my support any way I can and am excited to see how Legion will grow.

Oculas Rift support for Legion please. TF2 has it already so Legion is already playing catchup to that. Legion has an advantage in that it is in the early stages in development and can be built with VR in mind. Please don't get left behind in the FPS-VR war that is inevitably gonna come. Keep up the great work guys and also please give us some idea for when we will have Legion in our hands.

Something that really could be quite useful and easy - a quality of life fix for the spawn system. Sometimes in some locations you are spawned into areas you cannot escape, or spawned right infront of the enemy with no way to defend yourself (I dont mean when using uplinks as this is your tactical choice, I mean using ambush spawns for instance) |

Some people are rageing, but I think its a really great idea to put dust on the PC. Personally I have been away from the game for a while (more then half a year) and have been uninterested in the game due to the product released and its limitations; so I am hardly some kind of sycophant fanboy of everything ccp does.
This whole thing got me actually interested in the game.
Big issue I would have is can my current dust char migrate over to the PC project legion, which at fanfest I think they said I could, one big issue down.
And in the future isk can be moved between games, and.... actual MARKET. So again efforts spent in the game won't be wasted.
I don't lose anything if this re-release happens, I might actualy play again, and all the progress I made on my old char might be use for something, instead of being in the dust bin.]
Biggest issue I have is how soon., I really want it now and wouldn't want to have to wait a year for it. |

makes sense, get a product people like, they like playing and paying money for it.
You can't really hit any more of a bottom with the current state of dust on PS3, so any change can't be bad. |

That's a niche, I personally would like do in dust what I do in planetside, play on one screen and have another screen doing something else like watching something on Netflix.
Or it could be game related like fourm crap, teamspeak, or mabey a tactical map.
Some people might like immersion, I prefer practical and multitasking. |

Dust 514 needs the market implemented so you can get over that hump before you get to Legion.
Even if they don't effect the universe locations of recent large capsulier/ Dust 514 activity needs to show up in the other game automatically via in space icons and pop ups.

Game balance: 1) Something really needs to be done with swarm damage applying properly (there are numerous videos detailing this) 2) Swarms range- Swarms are useless against dropships, as most simply fly out of range and continue to bombard with impunity 3) Dropship pilots- Seems to me that there are few opportunities for pilots to really earn SP- perhaps they should get a bonus or more SP for kills/ferrying 4) Tankers/Turrets- Perhaps they should get less SP/WP per infantry kill and more for vehicle kills
Other stuff-- Is it possible to fix the terrain for movement/running? I know this may not be a simple fix, but running/walking/jumping are necessary mechanics for any fps. It reflects poorly on CCP when it's still broken this late in the game. Specifically: 1) Having running interrupted and either stopped or forced into walking by small obstructions/falls. 2) When climbing up the sides of mountains, until you know the map, it can be a crap shoot whether or not the surface is climbable (two surfaces at the same incline, and one is scalable, while the other is not). 3) Randomness of not being able to run all the time, or at the incorrect speed.
Also, it seems that numerous skills are not applying correctly- whether it's damage, speed, or armor bonuses. These should be fixed, or the skills removed from the skill tree- since they're wasted points.

CCP, I feel bad about all the flak you are catching, but you new this would happen. I am a little mad too. I have spent countless hours on Dust 514 and for what? I can't afford a PC I can barely afford a PS4 which I got for two games Watchdogs and Dust 514. I bought aur and feel that I'll need a refund if you jump ship and what about all those people who spent 100$ on weapon packs.

More graphics settings we can lower for higher FPS. I doubt there'll be much more work to optimise the code for PS3 from now on so I won't ask for that, but a slider to lower whatever value shouldn't be too much effort, right? ;)

Okay, after my initial bout of bitterness, I have to say Rogue is doing a pretty great job on the "open and transparent" front so far. This thread makes me a bit more hopeful. Now...
MY FINAL DUST514 REQUEST:
Please introduce FW variants of all dropsuits and weapons. It may take a tad of art time for alternate skins, but really, alternate skins are optional.
Just take the AUR variants of weapons, turn them into LP variants, and you're good.
It's a simple job compared to everything else that's being requested, please give us this much before the lights go out.

I think a major improvement to spawning in ambush would be allowing players to select a quadrant of the map to spawn into. I get really tired of spawning in the middle of a proto-march alone and in a corner. Being spawn camped is about the worst experience for anyone, especially players who are new to the experience.
Secondly, I also would like to see different game modes implemented into the game. The sand box opens up an awesome opportunity for instances or random spawns for boss fights. Something like an incursion where a massive amount of players have to band together to take out a drone spawning super-baddie and every class of dropsuit has a role to play.
Beyond that, I'd really like to see racial separation in every aspect of the game. Racial HUD, ALL vehicles, and ALL the heavy weapons. I'd also like to see maybe like a Corp war barge that is customizable like the Clan Quarters from the game WARFRAME. That would be super cool. Where you add rooms to the war barge to increase industrial accommodations or research proficiency or reduces manufacturing waste. Just a thought!
