squad size affects a few things: Already mentioned, it affects public games. Non-contract ones, that is. Also, in the current Precision Strike model, larger squads mean you get OB's earlier. In many cases, that would actually mean you get more.

For everyone's information before you request for hasher overheating, Laser Rifles DO overheat currently. it was fixed something like halfway of October. And I'm talking about ELM which previously did not overheat.
