I have been in so many matches where the enemy will push us back to our ground/MCC spawn, and then they completely ignore the red line, which is a pain when they have a dropship flying all around where you spawn. Also I personally feel that the redzone should extend under the dropship for the opposite team. The map with the three basses is a perfect example of this, the enemy caps all three then sits under the dropship, I dont mean off to the side a bit, i mean directly under it. I believe that this needs to be changed so that matches arent so easy for a team with many more players than the other side. |

If you happen to get stuck in a match with less people, you're best off switching to your Militia fits and trying to push out via Drop Uplinks. |

Oh never. There HAS to be a soft border in order to keep some illusion of not being in a box. Sure, the timer could be brought back to shorter one. |

Well i suppose instant death might be a bit overkill, but they should at least be prevented from shooting or something, the spawntrapping in this game is just rediculous at the moment. And i agree that if the other team has more players they should be dominating, but what about when the difference in numbers is exactly one person? Sure you could put that down to skill, poor teamwork, things like that, but i feel that even when you have a ****** team who dont work together at all you should still have at least a chance to get out of your spawn :P |

Redline should be removed and all spawns behind where it was should be fully random instead of a little spot to the side. |

ever spawn on an objective to try to defend it from the guys trying to take it. You die before you even load up properly, that would happen if they used your idea I beieve. I may be wrong, but most likely it would be even worse than what they have in place now.

Survive, adapt, and overcome. And also, get on the comms and coordinate.
I mean, really, instant death???!!!?? Why don't you have CCP look at the match-making and balancing of the teams being fielded first before you go making a blanket call like this.

Now that is totally dependent upon your ability to problem solve. If you don't like playing in a box, which is what you are promoting, then you should start by not thinking like you already resided in one to begin with.

The red line should move forward if the opposing team captures all three objectives. That seems like the best idea to me. |

If you want a true sandbox environment the redline needs to be removed.
I dont think it should be.
The spawning system in this game is marginally better than the build when RE's were op. But not much, spawning with a 2 second delay on letters (say C when on the 3 letter map) usually mean instant death.
And the random spawning system in Ambush is still broke.
Whats interesting is that CCP had hoped that we being rational beings faced with these problems would pull out droplinks. Yet I am rarely in a game when droplinks are used (except with my lot) and when I drop them when running solo, no one uses them.
Perhaps if traditional video game theory isn't working CCP game designers should speak to their internal economist about 'behavioural economics'....
If this doesn't work/ solutions found perhaps CCP needs to rethink the random spawning madness and look at some sort of protective covering for bases defenders to leave from etc. and some at the letters.
This wont stop spawn camping but offers the ability of squads that are being spawn camped to group up and push back |
