I would like to post this on the Maps feedback pages but this is more generic and applies to all environments.
I think ALL the buildings need to have proper interiors. There are some maps on Ambush that dont have any. This would make tactics with Drop Uplinks easier, as you could defend against threats from the skies and make it possible to create choke points. Also more floors inside the buildings. I think that is something this game is missing. Shotguns and SMG's are primarily used for CQB (Close Quarter Battles) and at the minute there isn't really that many places on maps like Manus Peak.
Also people like to run and gun through interesting places, more foliage would be nice. |

+1 to all of this. I would even support a huge AV nerf if the infantry have more places to hide from tanks. |

+1 those building on mandus peak and otehr similer generic buildigns CCP uses would be good canidates, and would lead to needing new gameplay. |

How awesome would it be if you spotted a sniper, and when you went in close, you realised he was camped on the roof of a building. So you bust into the building, ready with your AR, and get one-shotted by some guy camped out in the corner with a Shotgun?
OK... awesome for the Sniper and the Shotgun guy... |

OK... awesome for the Sniper and the Shotgun guy...
so dont just bust in!! use some actual tactical awareness. As your entering the room you should be moving round the door way checking as much of the room as u can without actually entering. then lob in a grenade (use a flux, bigger damage area, and they wont have a shield when u start firing) |

Ah ok, lol slight over reaction. so used to people with the constant sarcasm.
Oh and i regularly get ownd by some guy with a shotgun popping up round the corner of some COMPLETELY random and uselessly placed stack of crates. I mean seriously who sticks a load of crates at the top of some stairs. |

I'd place crates at the top of some stairs.
I'd also hide behind the crates. With a Shotgun.
I haven't done that to YOU, personally, but I've been the shotgunner in that exact scenario more than once.
I've also been SMG guy who found a way to counter it by taking the corner wide and only getting winged by the Shotgun instead of taking the whole blast to the face. |

good point. i just mean if youre going to have cover at the top of stairs, make it purpose built. instead of just some randomly placed crates. I would totally use cover if it was covering a set of stairs. however i prefer AR's and close range theyre useless because of hip fire accuracy. |

This needs to happen at some point. Especially with out vehicle happy this game currently is. Give some love back to the ground troops. All buildings having interiors with objectives would be AMAZING. |

yep more interoir batle so we dont get 100% death bye dropship's wuild be fun and give the shotgun speced guy's a bit more of a surviving change its sadening i can AR one down before he even gets in range it's a waste in his suit and point's unless he get's a lucky spawn infornt of him i use shotgun ocasoinaly and most map's dont realy give you alot of cover i wuildend mind seeing a map inside building's whit no vechical posibilety or inside a space ship station etc wuild make it more intresting |

I love maps with inside parts. Even though the skyfire node gives awful lag (almost unplayable), it's one of my favorites. |

i wonder how difficult it would be to use a different graphics engine coz the unreal engine is seriously outdated. Would probably be virtually impossible i would imagine which is a shame coz i think it lets the game down. |
