o.0, I saw the original FSN like, 10 times.
I have yet to see this new one after I heard about season 2, same thing they did with Fate Stay Zero, which I also waited till season 2 was finished and was grateful for.
Fate Stay Night - it's story really isn't special, and yet.... it's so damn good, lol.

Fruits Basket - No matter how many times I've seen this it still blows my mind how good it is.
So heart warming, touching, moving, and inspiring. It's so well written, even the Dub is well done enough to convey the strong emotional messages this show just shoots in every direction.
Few shows have ever been so deep. Makes me want to go back to the classics of anime Romance, so far the current stuff hasn't compared to it in terms of story telling.
Shows like: http://www.animehere.com/anime/bokura-ga-ita.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/da-capo.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/aishiteruze-baby.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/hatsukoi-limited.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/is-pure.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/itazura-na-kiss.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/kare-kano.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/nana.html http://www.animehere.com/anime/touch.html
Some of these shows, like Bokura Ga Ita, don't even finish the artwork on the frame, looks half finished, but the moments are so beautiful it's as if it was all meant to be as it was because how could that moment of been any better?
I highly recommend each of these shows, Aishiteruze Baby is another one that is just absolutely fantastic.

FSN anime was SH*T.
If you enjoyed it, you will absolutely love this one. The one you watched tried mashing multiple routes together, which resulted in a very confusing storyline compared to the VN.
Oh yeah, you still need to play the VN.
EDIT: Just finished catching up on "I can't understand what my husband is saying".
It's short and sweet. And the episodes are 3 minutes long. They do a great job of getting you to know the characters in the short time you get.

As for FSN, I haven't played the VN nor have I watched the FSN anime... I do remember they made a remake of the FSN series...
I did watch UBW. Since I watched that first, I think I'm all out of order when it comes to that...
On top of that, I've also watched the entire Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya anime and following the manga as well. So I'm all sorts of backwards...

I hear Rosario is amazing as a manga and all - but I really saw nothing they could of done with that scenario or characters to save that show.
All the characters were one dimensional - side cast even worse - and this doesn't change from manga to anime, it's the same characters, just different routes.
Only thing that came from that show was second seasons OP - I have a weakness for dancing anime girls :D

Yup, I did check out the manga out of curiosity, if they improved Pinky to be something other then an airhead I told myself I was going to finish it.
I lied :D
I don't know why they butchered the anime, but I didn't much enjoy the characters to begin with, they were only good to look at.
The succubus was probably the only interesting character because she was forced outside her comfort box to be accepted by others. The rest were bleh.

On episode 5 of Idol Masters: Cinderella
adorable. The first Idol Master was incredibly enjoyable because of the characters carried the terrible story, this show is almost the opposite. But it keeps one thing that made the first cast so likable - character designs and gorgeous animation.
But this show has many more faults then the original as far as how they've introduced and decided on how everyone gets a long. The chemistry in the first show was spontaneous with a cool atmosphere, you knew if things got too out of hand from the many out-going girls there were 4-5 seriously cool characters to deal with it, so things were always brought about in away a mature viewer can enjoy.
This show has 3 cool characters, all of which want only friendly interactions with the others. So when the girls get out of hand - no one is there to control them. Which leaves it to the unconfident girls who know better to try and resort the messes.
Luckily it all works out still somehow in reasonable fashion, mostly due to the 'manager' who comes off as a weak/boring character, but is showing so many signs of more that he's becoming a lot more interesting.
Over-all, I'm enjoying the show because the dancing is beautiful, character design is great, and the show actually is enjoyable. It's just not the great experience Idol Masters originally was so far, but it took that show about half a season to pick up into something good.

The war between Funimation and Crunchyroll rages as Funimation scores the side story to a very big name in anime - Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.
Crunchyroll fires back by getting a show I was looking forward too this season - My Love Story.
With Crunchyroll already claiming rights to Plastic Memories, Romance Comedy S2 (Another big one), FSN S2, and now this, it seems Funimation success last season in picking up the majority of interesting titles has been put to an early halt.
Crunchyroll is taking this season by storm so far.

I keep posting the PVs of Kekkai ;-; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jIMtTXUfuA
Impressions on the first episode is that it's very much an action shounen, beautifully animated, and set in a really cool "Supernatural New York" where people are walking alongside monsters and aliens alike. Hard to say how it's going to ultimately progress (not many people are sold on the source material) but the staff behind this one alone is enough justification for people to check it out. Combination of Studio Bones and the Kyousougiga director make for an extremely pleasing visual experience with some beautiful background art. And the animation in the first episode alone is damn near breathtaking.

I've been doing reviews lately episode by episode, so I'm going to go against my habit of waiting till the show ends and start all the shows this season to discuss it all with you guys :D
But right now I need to finish an oldie named Magikano. It's nothing like any other anime so far with how often these cute girls cuss and act unfeminine while being feminine. So nutty I can't help but enjoy it.

I love watching anime as it airs because it means there will be something new for me to see on most days of the week. However, this doesn't work when ALL FIVE SHOWS I'M WATCHING ARE RELEASED ON FUCKING SATURDAY. Saturday morning cartoons were cool when I was a kid, but this is just stupid. Aside from that, I've decided to watch some shows not on Crunchyroll, so I have seen the first episodes of two shows already.
Will be watching on Crunchyroll: Fate/Stay Night, Plastic Memories, and Gunslinger Stratos.
Watching off-site: Kekkai Sensen, and Owari no Seraph
Kekkai Sensen: This show has potential. The feel of this show is very similar to that of Hamatora, which I liked a lot, so I'm hoping this show will deliver. However, if it is going to continue to be as shit as that first episode, then this show will be nothing but a disappointment.
Owari no Seraph: This is how a first episode should be done. I really enjoyed this one's first episode for some reason. The plot twist was kind of obvious, but I didn't expect them to take it as far as they did. This show started off well, but I get the feeling it is going to get much worse.
So those are two short reviews of what I have seen so far. I'll have three more up on Saturday or Sunday after I have the others. Peace guys, Glantix / Ice
