I didn't know where Toradora was going, but after episode 16 it turned super emotional and I am impressed by how well they've put this together.

This season is amazing, incredible even. From the action, drama, romance, to the comedy. I will least the top of each genre this season has to offer using Hulu//Crunchyroll - I'm saving the rest for later, but I hear that Carnville show based in the world of Full Metal Panic is taking everyones hearts by storm. IDK much bout it yet, though.

Anywho:

Romance: You Lie In April - Art, that's what comes to mind when you watch this show, it's just so well done. With the way characters come off as almost half-ass drawn, it catches you off guard when you actually watch the show and see how fluid and beautiful the animation actually is. And the story behind it is just as powerful.

Drama: Yona of the Dawn - Ever seen one of those Korean shows about there history made in drama? If you have, you'll know how amazing they actually are. Deep in characters development and political intrigue, if you're a fan of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, you're typically a fan of these types of shows. But this one adds several genres to the mix, creating a wonderful tale with one of the most stunningly beautiful and charming female leads this season.

Comedy: I can't Understand What My Husband is Saying - LOL, this show is nuts in a tamed way, yet still nuts. This show would be just be considered bad comedy if the wife wasn't completely awesome, saving the show and making a lot of the laughs real. I would of chosen Twin Tails in this category - but I haven't seen enough of it yet, and ICUWMHIS is just lol

Action: Fate Stay Night - well this one was a no brainer, just watch episode 0 if you want to know what I'm talking about. It's probably the most beautiful choreographed fighting you'll ever see, and it's absolutely stunning to behold. And with an amazing story to back it - you'll enjoy every minute of this show.

I started watching Iscua. Heard some hype bout it being good - on episode 5, gotta say I am enjoying it, but they find any excuse possible to get the girls naked while the guys are all fully clothed, lol.

On a different note - I started High School DxD over in Dub this time and I'm quite shocked how much better the Dub actually is. Hearing them say "I'm ******" or the many hilarious lines you never see in anime has quite the impact.

it's about 5 magical girls with unimpressive powers collecting 'engines' for no known reason against an enemy they know nothing about who doesn't seem all that evil.

for my impression so far, i can't decide wether i like it or not, but I'm certainly interested enough to keep going through each episode. Which is why i'd like a second opinion.

The way i can describe how i feel right now is... its like i just finished watching AnoHana U.U

Everything else looks like a pile of trash now. It took two whole episodes to blow 99.99% of all other anime out of the water. Anime has been a blessing in my life, but I can no longer continue....

That show has crazy escalation. It doesn't particularly boast the best story of all time, but it does make it interesting.

it does get a tad boring at times as the girls predictably respond to most scenario's, but there are some exceptions, like the loli, she's hilarious with her harsh language at times.

What really drove this story was the last ark, and the longest. It was pretty intense, and even knowing the outcome it made you wonder which way it would all go down.

Each resolution was pretty plain, somewhat unbelievable. But it was still a good watch and i'll look forward to season 2.

also the ecchi in this show was great, lol, i admit i enjoy some ecchi in my show, and this show honestly spent very little time showing ecchi, but when it did, lmao, :3

So...second season of Knights of Sidonia is in the bag. Watched all 12 episodes back-to-back with only cigarette breaks every so often. Have to say I'm pretty pleased with how things went; the ending leaves enough plotlines dangling to justify a third season while at the same time answering enough questions to bring closure should a new season never come. Have to admit that it's hard to get past the style of animation used (every character is rather ugly) but the fighting is well done. Show manages to find a suitable amount of romance without falling into the harem trope and adds a few touches of humor here and there.

I honestly felt Rosario Vampire was more of a cartoon than an Anime.

TBH, the brother/sister thing is overused. If everyone is doing it it takes the "forbidden fruit" element out, which is the only real appeal to that sort of "relationship".

So, I was watching Clannad, and they were working on a garden. It made me think about Harvest Moon. Y'all ever played that? Those games were really good. Then I thought Harvest Moon Anime. Sure it could be boring af, but done right it'd be so awesome. I'm thinking a 12 episode series where it focuses more on the protagonist's efforts to fix up a run down farm, or a 24 episode series where we get more in depth character relationships and our protagonist gets married at the end. I think I'd watch that. Would you?

a day later and i'm still bitter about akame ga kill, i need something with decent characters, preferably light or romantic.

This show can be so damn cute, but you're right, it's just pretty much an average show.

Anime has already made me quit almost all other forms of TV since I know I won't find anything better. I've almost quit anime before because I've seen series that I feel will never be surpassed. However, if this actually gets done correctly it'd probably make me quit life. Because honestly, there'd just be nothing that would ever be able to top it.

Okay, I'm really getting annoyed...why do harem anime always reveal all of the members in the opening credits!? Sucks when you finally come across a character acting as a villain when you know that they'll end up being a part of the harem at a later date!

This is a must watch so far this season. It has turned into a mystery, fantasy, action, thriller show. That man aint goku. Seems he can't beat a single brave honestly in a 1v1.

But the way he adapts and the way the show pans out, albeit slow, is still a wonderful watch.

so i finished bakemonogatari the other day, and i've now started nisemonogatari, i have to say i'm loving everything about this show so far, hopefully the rest of it stays this good.

So, here's a question for everyone on the thread. When you are checking which anime you want to watch, are there any words that instantly turn you off of a series? For me, if I see the word "harem" show it's face I generally won't watch it.

For the Record: Wow, it's getting really tough to pick a favorite (a sign of a quality harem show.) Still have a soft spot for Kosaki, but Seishiro's interactions with Raku are hilarious.

Was killing some time last night and decided to watch six or seven episodes of Monster Musume; this must set a record of some sort for highest amounts of ecchi without actual nudity being shown.

Watched a couple of films last night.
5 Centimeters Per Second, a nice film about not getting hung up on the past. Ironically, the more I think about it, the more I like it.

Kiki's Delivery Service. Of the three Ghibli films I've seen, Kiki's, Totoro, and Howl's, I'd have to say that Kiki's is my favorite. So, that's pretty high praise.

Fate/Stay Night UBW <---- Does this one have anything to do with Fate/kaleid liner PrismaGÿåIllya 2wei! cause i just realized its not it _-_ and made same mistake on fate/zero just noticed

So I need a new anime to watch. I just finished Prison School. I loved how it was both hilarious, and the plots that the characters made had my head spinning in ways that I hadn't experienced since I watched Death Note. So if you could recommend an anime that has either of those attributes, it would be most appreciated!

I give Prison School 9/10 btw, highly recommend.

started playing FF XIII today, without any prior knowledge to the story line _-_ i pieced it all together already and am sorta into it a fair bit, but i might have to google a summery of all past games story up to this one.... also lightening and vanilla (i don think thats her name, its similar to that tho) are freaking adorable >.< i just love lightening and Sarah for their hair in a way also the fact that they are super pretty. as for the other one vanilla is what ill call her for now, i just love how she looks and walks so much >.< although her voice actor could have been someone more suited in my opinion but its grown on me and is fairly cute.
