I'm thinking we should start a group in that app. Maybe Idk It seems like a much better place than some random corner of the Dust forums, but I understand that not everyone has a smartphone and stuff.
What do people think? I don't have a smartphone. Personally, I feel that this community is very special because we all come from very similar interests, DUST and anime! I think it would be a shame to let this community, or rather, this thread, die. A lot of people would miss out, if you know what I mean? Edit: Just FYI, I only watched like the first minute of that clip, so forgive me if I'm overlooking something.
Same boat. No smartphone...hell, I don't even have a Facebook account.
I've pretty much retired from Dust (my PS4 is barely even being used thanks to all of the anime bingeing!) but I do enjoy the posters that visit us here. Will be a sad day when the forum shuts down.

Okay, I'm really getting annoyed...why do harem anime always reveal all of the members in the opening credits!? Sucks when you finally come across a character acting as a villain when you know that they'll end up being a part of the harem at a later date!

Simple answer is it takes more effort.
I've seen a few shows that add in the characters into the OP as the characters are met through the show...but I don't find it as much of a spoiler.
Instead it usually leaves more questions.

For some reason they started to really annoy me after watching a few.
Alright, Mirai Nikki is finished. I even watched the OVA. I really quite enjoyed the ending. I admit I teared up a little. However, I think whoever made it is confused on what god is able to do. I mean, he's not just a god, he's the god. Yuki should've just gone back in time to save the 2nd world. Don't tell me it isn't possible. Murmur manages to go back in time without moving and/or creating new worlds, so Yuki should be able to as well.
And of course the obligatory: Ninth best girl. Actually, Ninth best.

Talking about monster musume? It reveals the 'main' harem members, but there's also a ton of additional characters and worldbuilding going on too.
For example: the end cards 123
and non-translated versions http://i.imgur.com/NB12wK4.png http://i.imgur.com/0pXzkfx.jpg (dont have a clean one for centaurs atm).
Based on the descriptions... I'd probably end up with a poultry if I lived in this world. I doubt there'll be more cards for some of the later subspecies like the satyrs if it's a shorter anime run.
Okayado has actually been a surprising story for success, because originally he just posted his 1 page comics about 'life with [monstergirl]' revolving around a family of almost identical looking guys and their various extraspecies beau's on 2ch if i remember correctly (japanese 4chan). They turned out to be popular both there and here, which lead to him actually doing a manga... the manga was WILDLY successful for a relative unknown (it has heavy elements of love hina in my opinion) and it lead to an anime adaptation which by all accounts has had a relatively good showing (and the blu-rays look like they should be amazing too).

Hmm...probably about 10 or so. Actually got off of work about 3 hours early this morning, so instead of messing up my schedule I'm going to watch some anime before my regular sleep time...then I'll wake up and spend three or four more hours watching even more anime.

Campione!
5/10
Godou is visiting Italy to return a stone tablet that was given to him by his grandfather; while there, a woman accosts him and demands that he hand over the tablet. One thing leads to another and Godou suddenly finds himself caught up in a battle between two gods...and after defeating one, Godou gains his powers and becomes a Campione, or God-Slayer. Godou will need to gain more power if he has any hope of defeating the looming darkness that threatens to devour the world--that is, if his harem of beautiful women don't devour him first!
Right off the bat, this is a pretty generic harem/power fantasy anime (and one that is obviously part of a longer story.) What could have been a really cool premise--that of the MC defeating rogue gods and gaining their powers--is left largely as an afterthought in service of a plot that serves only to create the MC's harem and the motivations of each member. Indeed, key points such as the fact that there are six other Campiones out there are mainly glossed over (we meet two others, one of which fought the MC in a fight that is never shown) in favor of attempts at harem comedy.
The harem aspect of the show is decent, nothing more. The women are generally cute but never really develop into full characters. As a power fantasy, however, the show falls flat on its face--for supposedly being all-powerful, the MC spends the majority of each episode relying on his harem members to help him out in battle until he can gain the required knowledge of how to defeat his opponent...which, coincidentally, is only achieved via kissing one of his harem members. Then it's a brief history lesson on the origin of his godly opponent followed by a relatively swift victory. Rinse. Repeat.
Brief moments of ecchi abound, but no actual nudity.

Is the plot line just being ignored by people? Guy takes in girl, girl falls for guy for being nice - guy is nice to other girls, girls fall for it. Guy saves girl who didn't need saving - girl falls for him over it.
I'd like the show more if it was just honest with itself.
GirlA: I'm a dumb ass whose lonely and meddlesome and instead of finding a place where i belong i'm going to force my existence on you and pray for the best. I have reasons, but i won't reveal them because pacing isn't as important as melodrama.
GirlB: I'm a bigger dumbass who has a reason for it, I can't be where i belong and the plot won't reveal why, but who cares! I act super cute, say stupid ****, and bring light hearted comedy to a show that is nothing but light hearted humor.
GirlC: I'm quite possibly the biggest dumbass, though the most reasonable dumb ass of the bunch. i believe in morales and doing what is right, but i constantly do what's impulsive and intrusive without putting any thought into my actions that may contradict my character. |

Castle Town Dandelion - A show based on a royal family who lives there every day life like anyone else, there dad, the king, handles being a king like a very demanding job, coming home to his wife and kids and being daddy instead of king.
I like it.
There 9 kids all living under the same house and were just told there is to be an election next year to pick the next king and they're all competing. Some want it, others don't, but they all have there reasons.
The juggling between this huge cast has been fun to watch thus far - and it even gives background to side characters, and introduces another character more prominently as a love interest to one of the royal men.
if you haven't checked it out i recommend it to anime fans. 7.8/10 |

Dude you are thinking way too much about this.
Here's what I got out of the show so far:
The snake girl has big boobs The harpy has little boobs The centaur has boobs that are so big they smack her in the face as she runs around
And the MC shows how annoying it is to deal with monster girls instead of being all "yeah harem time!" that's the funny part.
Oh, and it has a great OP.
People probably enjoy it because it's like Highschool DxD, just minus the plot, and with a whole bunch of extra plot
(I don't think the show is that amazing, but it's entertaining to watch and that's all that matters sometimes)

People probably enjoy it because it's like Highschool DxD, just minus the plot, and with a whole bunch of extra plot(I don't think the show is that amazing, but it's entertaining to watch and that's all that matters sometimes) High School DxD has a plot, somewhat dark, to back it. It isn't all just fluff and panty shots. And the characters involved are all quite serious, the only real joker is the MC himself.
But MM is just simply fluff back with more fluff. There's nothing to grab hold onto with the story to be excited for more - you either like this cute monster girl design and watch it - or you don't. Because the plot itself is complete garbage so far.
And the story does try to have a plot - it honestly tries. If it was more like Lucky Star or Ordinary Life i would of just said it's fine, but it actively does want to give reasoning behind these women, and that's what i judge.
and so far - 6/10. What really broke the camels back for me was the centurion girl. Sincerely dislike the strong yet too stupid to notice what she's doing wrong type. |

Umaru episode 3 - as if Monster cursed me for talking bad about it, this show runs into a similar problem. It was going really well until they introduced a new character at second half of the episode. She's not only bland, but annoying to watch, as simple social interactions are far beyond not only her ability, but her understanding. Hopefully episode 4 clears this up, because it seems really awkward, and i really like this show Q.Q |

So, I don't usually watch stuff like this, but uh..... er, Sono Hanabira. I saw an English subbed version recently. I gotta say the dialogue is actually rather quite atrocious during the more explicit scenes. The story I can actually get behind though. I wish it'd go into more detail though. If it was a full series I might be able to enjoy it. As it is with only one episode, it's highly lacking in pretty much everything.

Episode 9 of Terra Formars Adolf is a badass, reciting the bible while using his lightning powers to kill the cockroaches. He pulled out a middle finger and called down a lightning strike on the "leader". (couldnt get the picture but I got a video). The character development was great for adolf, but it was a waste... The ironic thing is the cockroaches speak in a language that sounds like "jeow" and Adolf killing "jeow"s .

The build up is getting more and more intense as the show shows you how far the story is willing to go. My brother went ahead and read the manga so i got the next part ruined - but i got to say, it's going to be dreadful :) |
