I saw this comming honestly, Chaika's light novels are really great and they have so much stuff in them that making a lot of seasons for the anime is possible, besides you can't deny that the anime is pretty popular right now.

Took a long break from anime, just now started watching this seasons selections.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr
(from the same author as Elfen Lied)
Starts off speculating the depressing past of an amateur astronomer determined to discover alien life which his dead childhood friend swore to having witnessed. So far I'm all caught up. Just saying, I came for the dark scifi, stayed for the dark scifi ecchi harem lol

Cannot get enough of this sh**, which is torture because there's very little. Each episode is 3 mins intro and outro and 10 mins content, as opposed to the normal 3 min into outro and 20 min content. About a guy who draws manga and is obsessed with panties and likes his oppai on the side, and all the bitches wanna be his assistant
I'm looking to expand my horizons for this season, saw a few of you suggest Hitsugi no Chaika, and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei . I'll try em out soon if any of you got any other suggestions I'll put those on the back burner for the future as well. o/

started no game no life today and by started i mean marathoner all 7 episodes instead of looking for a job. it's funny, the art style is interesting, the story is entertaining.

Definitely the highlight of the season for me. The unconventional art and animation style definitely pulled me in from the outset but the show does a phenomenal job on the character development front as well. It really feels more like a character drama in which Ping Pong acts as the backdrop more than a traditional sports anime. Don't miss out on this one.
No Game No Life -
This one came out of nowhere for me and easily propelled itself as one of the shows I'm most looking forward to each week. The fanservice is going to be divisive for some but the entire concept of the world they inhabit and the games they play as well as the antics of the main characters have kept me thoroughly entertained through each episode. War and conquest through bouts of Tic Tac Toe!
Mushishi Season 2 -
They were able to perfectly capture the tone of the first season while expanding and exploring more about the world and the mysterious Mushi creatures that inhabit it.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders -
It's Jojo, obligatory. Though admittedly I have to say that I greatly prefer Joseph as a protagonist than Jotaro.
Mahouka -
(Guilty pleasure)
I keep saying Chaika pop up in a lot of people's recommendation lists for this season, the protagonist's stupid hair style and the girl's talking style turned me off from the first episode though. Looks like I may have to give it a little more love.

idk, mahouka's either started to get slightly better or my tolerance for it has increased, the last episode or 2 have been decent, i'll see how it goes, the incest vibe has been missing from the last 2 episodes thankfully....
oh and i've found a new anime from next season i can't wait for "Aldnoah.Zero" animation style looks good, and look at the guys behind it, should be good. and dat tagline, so good.

Chaika is pretty much DnD the anime. It's really good so far.
NGNL is absolutely fantastic.
I'm trying to finish S1 of Mushishi before going into it.

Not many people will dislike you for enjoying One Piece, it's probably the best out of the Big 3. In terms of long running shounen I've thoroughly enjoyed Hunter x Hunter though. I'd recommend it for sure, its new anime series has been going on since 2011 and there hasn't been a single filler arc yet!
If you ended up liking Kill la Kill you should check out the director's other notable works, Gurren Lagann and Panty & Stocking. The former is an extremely high energy mecha show that dares you to do the impossible and the latter is like a twisted adult Powerpuff Girls with fallen angels that are tasked with protecting a city. Fun stuff all around.

I just watched the 131 episode of Hunter x Hunter... when I die, I wanna be buried with that episode, the anime existed just to make this single episode, something that happenes once in a life time... I can only compare this with the first time when Goku became a super saiyan for the first time, something that will never be forgotten.
I'm honestly out of words, I can't believe that I lived enough to watch something so perfect and beautiful.
