People have asked about these 'Tiered Rewards' and what is going to transfer to the new game. The CPM have given their thoughts on this obviously and we hope that the discussion between you and the Dev's on this will happen soon.

Now as to my opinion on the matter and it is only my opinion, my thinking is as follows.

Name carried over is number one priority
Corps and your Corp history is the second.

After that, everything is just gravy.

SP, I'd like maybe a head start on players coming to the game new. But I'm not going to sulk if I have to start from scratch.

ISK? Please..... After the glut of it that came from PC1.0 and district farming... kill it all with fire as far as I'm concerned. Start the economy fresh.

AUR. If AUR is to continue as a currency option in Nu Dust and I've got some unspent, then obviously that needs to come over as well. But AURUM refunds like some have asked about... not bothered. I've received the benefit of that AUR via SP boosters and AUR gear so t's not like I didn't get anything for that.

BPO's and Skins. Now I've got an extensive collection of these and yes I did say that I've received the benefits of my Aurum purchases but I'd like something to show for that collection. But obviously BPO's as we know them might not carry over to the new game. So I'll need to see whats on offer about them.

If they transfer too much and give a massive advantage to some, then we'll have the whole lack of balance right from the start in the new game...

As much as possible needs to be wiped clean... I'll miss my dropships and my tanks, but it'll be better to have a balanced playing field.


Also Dust lasted a decent time for a console game... You paid for that, not for all future releases by CCP, anything they do is better than what they are required to do.

You farmed experience and money from people you simply excluded from the future of the game.

I will purposely stay away from any software or game you release henceforth.

When I downloaded PS2 it said closed beta = mmm idk if its true.

The game was fun but as a new player it was plain confusing that I deleted the game.

I've only been on for 4 months, spent quite bit of money for Aurum. regardless if I used it to buy boosters, weapons etc... I was trying to level up to play this game to not even get a year out of it. I'm not going to lie I feel taken advantage of, there was no future, but hey took my money. I only have a PS3, That's just not right...

Uh, no they didn't. The money they got from us was used wisely and they are using it so that even though the game may not survive, the idea and the concept will survive onto another game.

No, they specifically said that they disabled any future purchases for real money, but that you can still spend any AUR you already have.

This is a travesty how can you say that dust 514 is the best fps offered on psn then in the same post say that were being shut down. I have only been playing dust for about 8 months it has been the greatest fps I have ever played. It saddens me to my core to see how many long time players are just laying down and going to take this. To date with my 3 different player accounts I have spent over 600 dollar's on arum to enhance my playing experience and this morning I get told its all for nothing your no longer going to be able to sign in after may 30th THIS IS BULL$#!T and I hope something is done about it but I know nothing will ppl are to content to be walked over and ground into the dirt and say thank you sir may I have another. I'm sickened to see how this is playing out at this point I will no longer praise ccp or EVER spend another dime on anything ccp is involved in. If more players were to stand up and unite agenst corporate bulling like this they would have to keep our game alive. But I digress its been a blast and I know there will never be a game to fill this hole that ccp has just torn in my heart so to conclude please don't kill our game have compassion for your counsle players ............. F2p Developers get more active users on Console... Have Higher conversion rates. And far larger revenue outcomes.

Your NDA agreement expires, and does not have any consequences or repercussions of consequence of a breach for yourself personally. The worst that could have happened to you; being thrown off a sham council on a game that's ending anyway. In short, you're a temp. You have 0 financial tie to the company.

As it would pertain to the long term status of the council, again it has zero consequence. CCP, can choose to end CSM/CPM position and bodies at any point in time. As, they are are a quarterly based company, they are not concerned with long-term investments.
Ruining the reputation of the CPM for future use would not matter, as CPMs have been removed from the council before and investigated for corruption already. Protecting the position means nothing as it can be eliminate without cause at any reason, because you are a temp.


If you were to provide me evidence of you collecting data, or performing as a liaison to CCP development on behalf of the community; I'd gladly remove my label of you as a "puppet". Until then, you have betrayed the playerbase you pledged to represent to side with a company that has committed the last and ultimate disgrace to it's customers.

What about people that don't have the cash to buy a 2016 car? Is that the manufacturer's fault?
