I've only been on for 4 months, spent quite bit of money for Aurum. regardless if I used it to buy boosters, weapons etc... I was trying to level up to play this game to not even get a year out of it. I'm not going to lie I feel taken advantage of, there was no future, but hey took my money. I only have a PS3, That's just not right... |

I can spend the Aurum I have and have no future in the game going forward, sorry but what a waste of money and time for everyone, not just me. Everyone has opinions on this, this is mine, nobody has to like it.
Just a theory, what happens when a lot of people jump to PC because CCP's word has been so truthful , you get a year or so down the road and they shut down the PC side? Money invested in a gaming PC, EVE membership, etc...I see a lot of butt hurt in the future. I'll be playing my outdated consoles, plenty of games I've never play. lol |

With very few exceptions, all online games are ended at some point. I suspect you will be unhappy with any online game you play, as they will all eventually end. Expecting otherwise is illogical. You assumed wrong, I know games end, but usually they are forthcoming with info. Ive been reading online for months that it was still being supported. If they had been upfront instead saying a new release was coming, I would played with expectation of not to invest my time and hard earned cash into a game coming to a close. It's not called illogical, its called misleading. But I think you misunderstood me, I don't care the game is coming to an end per say, I'm not even mad, I just think it's a shotty way of handling this whole thing, bad communication, bad business practices.
These are my opinions, if you don't like it, no problem. But refrain from taking shots at me and move along. |

I work in corporate America myself, good corporations give timely notice among other details. I'm no spring chicken, my days go back to Atari 2600. lol |
