I am less concerned about the port being PC only, as we knew that was a possibility, or at least would start out that way, but why bother even allowing you to mention them working on 1.3 if they weren't absolutely certain they would release it? What better way to have salved the announcement than giving us one last update as a thanks for putting up with their sh*t.

And lastly, I am curious as to what would constitute irrational behavior? As a community, we have largely been yanked around, rang out like a rag for money, and misled. That behavior, on the part of CCP, whether intentional or not, suggests a fundamental lack of respect for the player base. Why should anyone bother showing them the respect they have not shown us?

I have been a player since closed beta, playing for hundreds of hours with the only regret that I was not there during the Alpha stages of testing. Personally there hasn't been a game that has kept my attention for so long other than Dust 514 and CCP should be proud of that fact. The collection of weapons, dropsuits, vehicles and modules added a new spin on First Person Shooters (FPS) games and its sound effects for every individual thing was awesome. The friends I have made within this game and particularly within the corporations made by players will stick with me even after the servers close down and I have to thank CCP. Though Dust 514 has had its issues I have always loved the game that it was and hoped for the game that CCP wanted it to be. Though its ending was expected by me, at least on the PS3 as they broke more and more often (my own making clicking noises) it still saddens me that I won't be able to log on to the game after May 2016. I can only wait for the new project and hope and dream for its realized idea. To everyone that I have met, to everyone that I have become friends with, to everyone that watches my youtube channel and to everyone at CCP that worked on Dust 514 I thank you for the experiences you have given me over the years and I hope to see you on the PC for the new project. p.s. I am sad that you and some other feel that way. I can assure you that we worked hard on the 1.3 expansion, but for many reasons ended up not pushing it out to the players. All previous communication by Frame and myself about the feature was honest and not meant to give false hopes. Ultimately, in this industry, having a public and open dev roadmap can result in this situation, but I believe the good outweighs the bad.
