Give the flaylock a very steep trajectory, so at 1-7M CQC it will be good, but beyond that the player would have to start compensating a lot for the bullet drop. Same with the Mass driver.

Min/maxing defense costs a lot of SP, and thus new players that do not have the SP have to grind for months before they can actually play without having to worry about being gunned down instantly.
