"Are you sure this will work?"
"Oh my, have a little faith for a change! Of course this will work, no doubt about it."
"Still, I can't shake the feeling--"
"So pessimistic, so fearful! Could you for once trust those that work with you?"
"Hey, you know no less than I do how much is at stake here. Recklessness is the last thing I want to bring this plan down."
"Relax, for your own sake! It really bothers me that you start asking questions now, when everything is already set up. Believe me, failure will never be an option here."
"Well, fine, but if anything goes not according to the plan, it's on your head."
"Ha-ha-ha! Such joker you can be at times. This is not going to happen, ever. You play your part, I'll play mine, and everything will be perfect." ___________________________________________________________________________________________________
"Where is the Arch-Warden?"
Verephos grimaced upon hearing such a straightforward demand. No respect! One cannot even remain alone in his meditative chambers nowadays! He reluctantly lifted himself from the sitting mat and threw a quick glance at the marble circular walls before turning to face the owner of the inquiring voice.
The incomer was clad in silver armor and light-blue tunic underneath it. The cuirass, legplates, and gauntlets all bore the an elaborate ornament of curved lines that closely resembled wind gusts. The visitor carried his plumaged helmet in the right arm, while his other hand rested on the hilt of a silver hammer that hung from his side. Its head was enveloped in a swirl of wind energy that flowed and whirled around the blunt edges. The incomer's overall body stance looked quite pugnacious, which gave Verephos a subtle idea of something abnormal happening outside.
The latter answered, "Yes, I'm here. Is something wrong?"
The visitor replied, "You have to come outside. The Purifiers are gathering around the main gates, and it doesn't look good."
What in the name of Aethereum is going on? thought Verephos as he followed the harbinger outside and assessed the situation. The giant sun greeted his gaze as he exited the tower and stepped on the balcony that overlooked the Wardens' Fort. The Fort was stationed on a platform that hung in the air high above Praecantaria, connected to a much larger floating platform that served as the foundation for a city of the nation of Aethereum, the home of the Windweavers. The city's name was Arkhastrelen, and it was only a single one among a vast network of floating cities that were supported by the powerful magic of their inhabitants.
Verephos raised his right hand to shield his eyes from the sun that seemed to be much closer here than from the ground's point of view. He surveyed the square in front of the Arch-Warden's tower and saw the other Wardens assembled in arms, facing the gates. One look behind the silver gateway revealed the source of trouble.
The bridge connecting the flying fortress and Arkhastrelen was filled with other Windreavers. They were armed as well, and yet their clothes were pure white, unlike those of the Wardens. The distinction between those who served the Emperor and those who dared to defy him for whatever reason was clear as the two sides shouted insults at each other, separated solely by the gate.
"Purifiers," muttered Verephos, as he descended to the platform level and walked rapidly towards the crowd, shouting, "What is going on here? Why are these people gathered in front of our Fort?"
Just when one of the Wardens approached him to give an answer, Verephos felt a sense of dread, for he already knew the answer. Is this it? he realized. Are the tensions already that high that they now spill into a civil war?

Nashir-Ur emerged back into the world of the living. His undead army was still in the void between worlds, ready to be sent to the ancient portals within the ruins of much older races, long dead to the sands of time. But something was missing, and thus, he held his hand out, in the frigid air of Doomgoth. With each second's passing, the air grew colder and his aura grew stronger. Runes could be seen for but a mere second, flickering in and out of this realm around Nashir-Ur. And... something arose from the ground.
At first, it was a shadow. But, arising from the ground, a form could be seen. It eventually became apparent what he was summoning: a stone sarcophagus. Wrapped in chains, the sarcophagus had no defining features other than a passage of language long dead to the current world. However, the contents of the sarcophagus were what mattered to Nashir at this time. He wanted the remains inside, for they were important.
It was the corpse of an unknown champion, a man who gave his very soul for a contract much like Nashir-Ur had made mere minutes prior. The champion had belonged to a people long past, proud warriors by birth, and the contract was one of war; in it, the hero had traded his life for the glory of battle. His name was long lost, but Nashir-Ur had plans for him. With one stroke of his hand, the chains came off and the lid fell from the sarcophagus.
And inside was a skeleton, shrouded in armor, still untarnished from years within the coffin. The armor gleamed, with the luster of adamantium. Perfect. All of it was perfect for Nashir's intentions. And thus, he snapped his fingers, bringing the corpse to life; Nashir-Ur now had a general, the Vicar Ur.

---OOC-------- Just to make this clear. The events taking place in Diyad/ gran Arcadia have occurred in the past. Hence Thanatos just now noticing Nashir. Also since I'm tired of typing "pink glowing eyes" all the time, I'm going to go the anime route, and just name the ability. Supreme Clairvoyance seems like an apt title: it refers to the special vision. So far, Brutus, Thanatos and Sandromin have it. While it's full nature hasn't been fully explored these are certain:
1. *It can only be achieved by tempering/refining one's soul. How to do this depends on one's self. Brutus just did this recently.
2. It allows one to communicate telepathically with others who have it.
3. One's speed, strength, agility and precision are naturally enhanced. Not extremely, but noticeable.
4. One can see/interact between the different realms(ex. realm of spirits). Thanatos did this at the Assembly to force out Fate when she approached Xavier(M.I.A.)
5. One can use it's power to attack. Thanatos used it with his sword to cut Void.
And now for the big, yet heavily hinted at reveal...
6. One can kill a god.
*Technically Sandromin did not complete #1, however he received it from Freedom, plus he has the blessing of the One or whatever. I'm sure this can't be replicated.
Reading over this, these things seem a little OP. I assure you they aren't. Like a muscle it takes a lot of time and training to utilize these abilities. If you recall, it took several months for Thanatos to walk from the Logipriest island, take a boat to Mediterra, then walk to Venezzia. Throughout that time he underwent intense training, and he can't even fully access the full potential of this ability at will.
Thanatos took a moment to process what had been said. Machine men, Snake of Illusion, Franklin.
"Brutus I'm about to do something very delicate, so I need you to relax."
Thanatos stood still, using the Supreme Clairvoyance. His vision went black, and then before him he saw a portly man and a large staircase. Before he could question Brutus he was interrupted by an unnatural presence.
"Brutus... I don't know what you've gotten involved with, but please be careful!"
Like a string, the connection was cut. He saw nothing but a black horizon. Like a heartbeat, a pink wave repeatedly echoed throughout the vast expanse revealing faint, but recognizable structures. He saw an ocean, and an island. Something was off. Something cold and desolate, and it challenged him. He felt it, like an instinct, an urge. His inner voice screamed it.
"It challenges!"
"Disorder!"
"Unnatural!"
"It doesn't belong!"
"Anomaly!"
"Anomaly!"
"Result of Direct Intervention!"
"Order must be restored!"
"The anomaly must be eliminated!"
Then the feeling went away. Thanatos decided not to act immediately on these feelings. He recalled the being called Time telling him that all will be revealed during the expedition. But first he had to get Brutus.
Franklin stroked his chin for a moment.
"I've been here before Brutus, we need to head this way first..."
Franklin gestured toward the staircase.
...
For a while they aimlessly searched hallways. Franklin looked genuinely confused.
"This isn't right. The layout of the interior is all wrong. The hallways are different, the rooms, everything. Something is wrong... I see, this place has been enchanted. Finding the correct path may be difficult."
But Franklin could not feel what Brutus felt. In his heart he felt the faint presence of someone familiar.

"Did you hear the news?"
"Of course I did. Can't say I'm surprised, frankly."
"Really? I certainly did not foresee that the Purifiers would act so rashly. They must be really tipped off about this turmoil with the Unworthy."
"No doubt. But it's not like they are going to interfere with our plan, though."
"Heh, indeed. For all intents and purposes, they'll even save us the trouble." _______________________________________________________________________
"So what is going on here?" Verephos inquired. "Why are all these people gathered in front of our gate?"
The question hung in the air for a few moments, and then one Warden approached and spoke quietly, "The Purifiers are demanding that we release all, as they say, 'Unworthy'," the Windweaver pronounced this name with contempt, "from duty."
"And what, to get rid of a quarter of our numbers? Are they serious?" Verephos looked genuinely surprised when he paced towards the locked gate and faced the outraged commotion on the other side. His voice, augmented by an incantation, boomed over the bridge. "Please disperse this congregation and return to your homes, immediately. If any of you have some sort of complaints, please schedule an individual appointment with a member of the Council of Observers. Now, go h--"
"Observers won't help our nation," a rasp voice sounded from the crowd.
Verephos searched the angry faces for the source of these words, when the voice spoke again. "The blight we are talking about here can only be cured by eradicating the malady, not reassuring the organism that everything is fine."
The Arch-Warden's eyes fell upon a wrinkled face framed by silver-gray hair. The primeval speaker's mouth was still slightly quivering after having stated the accusation. Verephos chuckled to himself at the recognition. "Anarcus. Why am I not surprised to see you here?"
"Because your time is up," the old man replied. "You have harbored the Unworthy for a very long time. It is time to drive them from where they don't belong."
"These men and women were simply unfortunate enough to have been stricken by the disease!" beckoned Verephos. "So what that they were left without any power to wield magic? Are we now to purge them from Aethereum due to bad luck?"
"That's a good idea, for a change," Anarcus smiled. "What use is a mortal man in the land of demigods? They only weaken us and don't contribute anyhow to the well-being of the country! So why don't you just relieve those Wardens without magic and send them to the ground?"
"If that's an ultimatum, then you'll have to do more than that to force it upon us."
"Very well." With these words, Anarcus turned around and told something to the men behind him while gesturing at the gate. Out of that speech, Verephos barely made out the phrase "Bring down the gate". Instantly, several Purifiers walked towards it and started launching spells at the steel obstacle, flinging lightning bolts and sending whirlwinds at the gate. The commotion in the Warden's Square became immediately excited with the prospect of upcoming fighting.
The Arch-Warden ordered a few Windweavers to bolster the defense and cast protective spells upon the gate. After dispatching that group, he edified the rest of the Wardens to organize themselves before the battle and summoned the Third Order to take the frontal positions. One of the Wardens behind him hissed at him, "What are you doing? They will be defenseless! The Third Order has no magic users whatsoever! The Emperor will not be glad to hear about this."
Verephos spun around and grabbed the defiant man by his chest armor, lifting him up ever so slightly. He said in a furious whisper, "You dare question my orders and loyalty to the Emperor? I will not tolerate this kind of attitude, ever! Let the Third Order show they can protect themselves. Maybe it will show the Purifiers how wrong they were all along!"
Released from Verephos' grasp, the Warden was taken aback by this answer and promptly retreated somewhere else. The Arch-Warden turned around to face the gate again and saw Anarcus laughing. "Is this how you value your Unworthy? By putting them in front, like pigs for the slaughter?" He roared to the Purifiers at his side through the sounds of flying spells, "Intensify the assault. It disgusts me to even watch those Unworthy wretches try to stand against us. Let's put them out of their misery, shall we?"
The assault strengthened, and more and more lightning bolts connected with the steel gate, pounding on and burning through the protective spells woven by the Wardens. At the same time, powerful wind gusts tore through the poles and beams that made up the gate, weakening the structure and breaking holes in the gate. Soon, almost all of the remaining poles were cracked in some place, and one final forceful wave of air rushed in and collapsed against them, knocking some out and completely disintegrating others. The gate protecting the Wardens' Fort crumbled and fell down in pieces.
The Aetherean Civil War had begun.

EDIT x 2: Clarity, Clairvoyance, Vidis, Vis, Visus.
EDIT x 3: Okay, @ #2, yes, but really, it gives insight into the mind's "window" if you will. So really, it allows for mind "vision," which with two parties becomes telepathy. I'm going to say this skill is refinable, so you can sharpen it to block out other people or pry into another's mind. Untrained people beware. @ #4, yes, it allows for spiritual and magical manipulation (auras, etc). @ #5 Really, it's an extension of #4 over there. Since Visus (I'm calling it that) allows for aural manipulation, it basically opens up the ability of using magic, but other stuff as well *hint hint* and if you didn't catch that last part, other stuff as well *HINT HINT*
Oh, and everyone remembers that metaphorical 6 month training session Sandromin experienced in his mind? Good. I'm going to relay back to that in the nigh-upcoming fight against Nashir.
For #2 that's basically what I meant. I must have deleted part of the explanation.
"It allows one to see the truths beyond truth, and have sight beyond sight."
In French clair=clear and voyance=vision. Visus is good.
Also I kind of agree with Nexhawk. I'd kinda planned the whole aural manipulation/attacking using Visus to be a completely different type of combat, especially since Thanatos has sworn off magick(explained in my backstory/book thing I'm still doing) and he literally cannot use Alkhemy anymore.

Boils down to experience. If you were born with the ability to use magic, you must have like 30+ years experience over them; also, it allows you to feel the flow of auras better than someone who was given Visus. Visus is more rounded though, as it affects the physical and mental aspects as well. It's... Visus.

If you were born with the ability to use magic, you must have like 30+ years experience over them; also, it allows you to feel the flow of auras better than someone who was given Visus. The giant watched as his portly friend cursed up and down. It was after a few moments that Brutus spoke up. "We go this way." The giant jabbed a thumb behind him and began to walk. "Brutus? Brutus wait we can't just..." Franklin kept speaking but Brutus didn't listen he was to busy finding his way to... Something, every step made him like he was taking a step in the right direction. It was after about three minutes the giant decided to stop. An odd door stood infront of him. It glowed with a red light around it. The giant turned to Franklin to see if he saw it too. "The doors glow here?" Franklin just raised an eyebrow at the giant. "How hard were you hit by Marco Brutus?" "Hard. But Brutus is fine. The door is glowing." "Brutus I can assure you that, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" While Franklin was talking Brutus decided to rip the glowing door off of its hinge and immediately the wall that his been in shimmered and faded. In fact all the doors connected to the wall dissipated. Now infront of the two there was a large ornate door that now stood. "Brutus, how did you... This doesn't... But.... Never mind. You never stop amazing me." Franklin patted the giant on his side. "Shall we open the door or does it glow still?" Franklin said in a slightly sarcastic way. Brutus decided to open the door in a way he had grown accustomed to. By slamming through it.what they saw on the other side made them gasp. The snake of illusions as sitting on the ground. Looking defeated. "Well Brutus... Good job." Was all Franklin could muster. |

GÇ£And so the violence begins.GÇ¥
GÇ£Indeed. You know, I feel a bit of a relief in the fact that the Purifiers decided to act now, without letting the tensions get any greater.GÇ¥
GÇ£Maybe it is for the best that they are doing the dirty work without any push from the outside, too. That reminds me; how exactly did they come to hate the Afflicted Ones?GÇ¥
GÇ£The Unworthy? Through fear, of course. If your neighbour suffers from a disease that may very well be contagious, you certainly will begin to despise his nearby presence, up until a point of no-tolerance.GÇ¥
GÇ£But is this really better than helping your neighbour cure the ailment?GÇ¥
GÇ£Is there a cure?GÇ¥
GÇ£They are working on one, for all we know. So my question still stands.GÇ¥
GÇ£I guess not. But, you know, it all depends on oneGÇÖs perception. Evidently, the Purifiers are hell-bent on driving the Unworthy out of the country, so they must have good reasons to believe that is the only right way to deal with thisGǪpredicament.GÇ¥
GÇ£All these people, gathering together to take the least rational course of action, and no dissenters among them, too! It must look really strange from the outside observerGÇÖs perspective, mustnGÇÖt it?GÇ¥
GÇ£Let the historians of the future answer that question.GÇ¥ ________________________________________________________________________________
The WardenGÇÖs Square had filled with fighting as the gate had fallen down in silver ashes. Truly, it was a horrible sight to behold, just like any civil war is; brother facing against brother, father against son, citizen against citizen. The only visual distinction used to be the color of the robes and armour that members of the two sides wore, but those white and blue hues also blended together as powerful incantations conjured gray winds and white-blue lightning that ripped through the crowd. Adamantium steel clashed with itself and tore through flesh, causing screams of agony to erupt throughout the battlefield.
Being the first line of defence, the Third Order took on the entire might of the PurifiersGÇÖ assault and, surprisingly enough, fared against it quite well. Despite having lost their magical capabilities, the Afflicted Ones still retained knowledge of self-protection against enemiesGÇÖ spells and used their cunning, agility, and enchanted weapons to deflect lightning bolts and powerful gusts of air. That is, until few of the Purifiers chose to summon a thunderstorm.
Once the incantation was spoken, the clear sky instantly became shrouded with black thunderclouds, and lightning connected sky and ground, falling upon the heads of the Afflicted like rain and frying in a blink those that did not look up in time. Electricity filled the air, and violent outbursts exploded at the fingertips of the rebellious spellcasters. The Wardens realised they had to counter this advantage and cast the same precise spell, hoping the storm would dissipate after being torn between two contradicting orders.
The result was an exact opposite.
Verephos, who wasnGÇÖt caught in the middle of fighting just yet, glanced up and witnessed something both majestic and at the same time absolutely frightening. The sky was in turmoil with itself: the clouds swirled and crashed against each other, sending lightning bolts both to the ground and to intercept those already going there. The white and blue whips lashed at each other and exploded in massive releases of energy, completing the picture of an element at war with itself. Just like us, Verephos understood with a sickening dread. WeGÇÖre fighting with each other for a problem that can definitely be solved in a peaceful way.
But now was not the time to contemplate on non-violent solutions to the situation in the nation. The battle was still going on, and Verephos decided to seek out his rival on the square, Anarcus. ItGÇÖs a common wisdom that a sure way to kill a monster is usually to cut its head off, thought Verephos as he recognised his counterpart amidst the fighting, flinging both spells and insults left and right. GÇ£Mongrels! Wretches! Go back to your holes in the ground, you inept worms! Aethereum will be purified, and those who oppose us will perish as well!GÇ¥ The old man clearly reveled in his hatred towards the Afflicted, a sentiment that Verephos couldnGÇÖt quite grasp since the inception of the PurifiersGÇÖ party. Their numbers were too high for their radical idea of eradicating the Afflicted instead of curing them, and that bothered the Arch-Warden deeply. Despite being so irrational, they had clearly amassed tremendous support among the Windweavers, but the reason for it was extremely unclear.
At any rate, Verephos could not express his thoughts at the moment, and so he rushed towards the figure of Anarcus, whose silhouette was lit up in flashes of lightning as often as it was covered in darkness from the smothered sun, and was thus hard to make out in the crowd. All of a sudden, however, the sky cleared as rapidly as it had darkened several minutes before, and the giant sun blinded all fighters for a moment. When they pried their eyes, the battle stopped altogether, for every Windweaver on the WardensGÇÖ Square was somehow almost entirely paralyzed except for his or her head. Then a thunderous voice boomed across the battlefield, GÇ£THIS WILL CONTINUE NO LONGER!GÇ¥

Many heads turned to face the WardenGÇÖs Tower, which was now surrounded by a few figures hovering in midair. These Windweavers wore seemingly simple gray hooded robes, although upon closer inspection, elaborate drawings symbolizing their high status in the Aetherean society could be made out. In their hands, they carried long staffs with wind energy flowing and circling around the silver rods. Nothing held them in the air; the folds of their robes fluttered in the wind that was conjured to keep them hovering. GÇ£The Observers,GÇ¥ some in the crowd began to mutter. The excitement rose quickly, for never before this caste of powerful mages directly interfered in the dealings of Aethereum. Their duty was, as the name suggested, simply to observe the events in the nation and Praecantaria. Locked away in their monastery, access where was restricted to all but the Emperor himself, they advised the ruler on the most important matters, as well as studied the intricacies of the Windweaver magic, constantly coming up with new spells and rituals for the benefit of all citizen.
And now they had left the monastery to stop the first battle in the first civil war in Aethereum.
The leader of the Observers, who hovered just above the spire of the Tower, proclaimed, GÇ£This fight stops now. Wardens, you are ordered to return to your normal duty as if nothing happened here. Purifiers, you are to go to your homes and think about your actions before doing anything else.GÇ¥
A voice sounded from the immobilized crowd. GÇ£They are housing the Unworthy ones! This is a crime they shall pay for!GÇ¥
GÇ£Anarcus,GÇ¥ the Observer replied calmly, although his gaze was burning when it settled on the daring speaker, GÇ£the Wardens are the guardians and, essentially, the standing army of this nation. By demanding that they relieve a quarter of their force of duty and then attacking them, you are undermining the security and welfare of the entire country! For this alone, we should drag you into the EmperorGÇÖs Court right now, but knowing your position, I doubt this wonGÇÖt happen soon. If you have any particular grievances with the Afflicted Ones, take them directly to the Emperor, but do not make your own countrymen suffer for your cause!GÇ¥
With this, the paralyzis spell had worn off, and yet the former combatants had no desire to fight under the watchful gaze of the Observers. But, as the Purifiers were leaving through the wreckage of the gate, Anarcus was heard spitting on the square pavement and muttering, GÇ£The Shadowed One will see to it that the skies are purged from this blight!GÇ¥
While the Wardens gathered the corpses and readied them for burial, Verephos glanced at the leading Observer and bowed his head with an air of gratitude. The latter, however, descended to the Arch-WardenGÇÖs level and whispered, GÇ£I understand that you have much on your hands right now, Arch-Warden, but we need you in our monastery as soon as possible to discuss something utterly important.GÇ¥ Verephos glanced, surprised, at the sound of this. GÇ£Worry not, for an ObserverGÇÖs invitation overrides al other restrictions that lie on our monastery,GÇ¥ the Observer replied to his thoughts. GÇ£Thank you, thenGÇ¥ Verephos answered. GÇ£I will come as soon as IGÇÖm able.GÇ¥
GÇ£Thank you,GÇ¥ the hooded mage nodded to Verephos, and he and the other Observers flew away on the magical winds of their own conjuring.

Nexhawk nodded at SandrominGÇÖs proposal. GÇ£I have already mentioned this legend of a god named ZakGÇÖResh that ruled over death until he was struck down by the other gods. Even though details elude me now, I shall try to search for them in my memory.GÇ¥
Fallen godGǪ fallen godGǪ no, wait, fallenGǪtitan. Wait, thatGÇÖs it! GÇ£ItGÇÖs coming back now!GÇ¥ he exclaimed after a minute of pondering and immediately began his tale.
GÇ£This legend, this myth describes the events that transpired a very long time ago on Praecantaria. I assume that youGÇÖve heard of the Firstborn Mir, the founders of the four nations of that continent and the ones who spread their magic among all inhabitants of their countries. So, ZakGÇÖResh was the last living Firstborn, the Titan of Thunder, the founder of Aethereum, the WindweaversGÇÖ domain. Although all other Firstborn had already died of their ancient age, this primeval being somehow kept on roaming the continent, seemingly unaging. Everyone wondered why he survived for so long, and no one knew his secret - ZakGÇÖResh had discovered the Spring of Youth, a source of waters that gave everlasting life to their imbiber. Using his powerful magic, he had created an immensely powerful link with the Spring so that it would always let him thrive in his journeys across the continent. At first the Titan used this immortality simply to live longer and observe all the events that occurred on Praecantaria throughout many ages.GÇ¥
GÇ£However, where life flows, death follows closely behind. And the waters of the Spring, along with granting immortal life, concealed a dark secret within themselves - the power to tame death itself. The legend doesnGÇÖt say how exactly this had happened, but somehow ZakGÇÖResh discovered that secret. ThatGÇÖs when his benevolence got all twisted. Power corrupts, as you undoubtedly know, and the Titan of Thunder chose to utilize his new powers to rain devastation, desolation, and dread upon Praecantaria. In essence, he was the first Deathlord, except no one really knew of him.GÇ¥
GÇ£You see, ZakGÇÖResh promptly fled from the continent upon the discovery of these powers. For what reason, it is unknown, but it appears that he wanted to raise an army of the dead and unleash it upon Praecantaria, controlling it from a faraway land, so that no one would suspect anything about the source of this chaos. But the gods are all-seeing, and ZakGÇÖReshGÇÖs plan did not escape their observing minds. They descended upon this land he hid himself in and attempted to stop him, but their own creation, the Spring of Youth, fuelled his life force so greatly that he simply could not be defeated. The link between the Titan and the Spring was also virtually indestructible, and so the gods had no other choice but to destroy the source of immortality itself. And so the Spring of Youth was destroyed before any mortal inhabitant of Praecantaria discovered it, which is why this is simply a myth that may or may not be true.GÇ¥
GÇ£Anyways, the Titan of Thunder, now void of his everlasting life, became imprisoned in the land he fled to and most likely died of old age, for there was nothing left to sustain him now. And this is the entire legend,GÇ¥ Nexhawk concluded. GÇ£Note that it may not have any connection whatsoever to the dark and dreadful being whom we may face soon enough. But if it doesGǪGÇ¥ Nexhawk gazed in the air within the mobistat, not looking at anyone in particular, GÇ£then maybe ZakGÇÖResh is not dead, and maybe he has found another way to bring his horrifying plot to fruition. At any rate, this still remains to be seen.GÇ¥ With that, the Fiery Lord fell silent.

That system was scrapped so long ago due to the mere fact I didn't plan on keeping track of it. So, instead, I can have one guy write up a plotline for you and you can make your very own nation. We got an index somewhere in the first 3 pages, and you can just throw in a nation on the map, with your very own leader.

Edit: Okay so I had started the Gran Arcadia arc in order to introduce these new characters and their secrets. I fear I may have been beaten though by Nexhawk before my "big reveal thing". Also in that book thing that I'm totally still writing and definitely not still in the outlining process, I kinda have a character that is similar to well... these Windweavers. I was wondering if it would be okay if there was a precursor race before the Windweavers, because I may have made up a similar magickal race that is pivotal to Thanatos' backstory. Or maybe it could be a new race entirely, but with similar attributes? I mean they did die off an entire era ago. What do you think Nexhawk?
//OOC: First thought that crossed my mind when reading this - telepathy.
On a more related note, there is no known precursor race for the Mir, who include Ashborn, Windweavers, Hydromancers, etc. These four Praecantarian nations originated from the Firstborn Mir, the first inhabitants of the continent that were gifted magical powers by the gods and spread those abilities across all their successors. The differences between the nations are explained through the genetic alterations made by their magics, but essentially, all Praecantarians are still the same race.
What I can think of is that your race may be the descendants of the ancient Windweavers that left the continent in their exploration efforts and were since then cut off from Praecantaria due to the creation of the protective shroud. Just like environment can potentially change gene expression, the place these explorers had made their landfall in would naturally alter them and possibly turn them into the race you write of. If this option suits you - great; otherwise, though, we may think of something else. //End of OOC\\

OOC: Perhaps I'll make it a separate race. They only existed(for the most part) up until the Second Era. They only come from one small region in the far northeast. You can't even called it a nation. They are gifted with the ability to fly and a very long lifespan(fast healing included). They are said to have been a race directly born from the Lesser Goddess, Sky(or in the case of Sandmen lore, Wind, one of the Second made by Wisdom, who was born from Dust). Their magick doesn't strictly pertain to wind, but instead weather(particularly lightning).
