"Uh...we sit now?" Brutus sounded almost like a child to the stranger, a ten foot tall child, but a child none-the-less. Brutus motioned to the empty seats of the logipriest. He looked visibly saddened. He missed Conyr. He hoped he was safe. But he wouldn't go looking for him, he promised. Brutus lumbered over to the table, no chairs that would hold him. Brutus just sat down on the floor. He motioned to the chair next to him, the stranger sat down. "Brutus never ask name, friend tell brutus? Not have to." And with that the still sitting giant waited fir an answer and for once didn't drift off into an old memory. |

The forges had been created. However, most of them were underground, as offshoots of the city. It was becoming a the city it once was; the lights had been turned on, and a large influx of migrants had arrived into the city.
The finest craftsmen had begun the crafting of new weapons and vehicles they had found the design for. They found that the Dorics created a fuel that they uniformly used across all their devices: matur. Matur was formed from the refining of several metals by putting it through a Doric Iyonic processor. Afterwards, melting it down would create a super-iyonic liquid that would then be placed into small battery containers.
This would create a power source bountiful enough for the devices of Doric people. But the new devices required a powerful group of people who would dedicate their life to learning this new knowledge. Soon, the migrants had placed several people to learn about this knowledge. They became philosophers of Dustia; they were the Unravelers. They unraveled the secrets of the universe and they became leaders of the Guild of Thought.
Meanwhile, Sandromin was convening within the conference, speaking of his opinions to the people. It was about midday when he saw something...
At first, he thought it was just a person, but he just couldn't stop looking at the person. He was cloaked in a black robe and he walked with an air of purpose. It was as if he had come in from outside, just to announce something important.
Sandromin couldn't think of who he was, but then the man pulled back his hood to reveal his face... And then Sandromin realized who the person was.
The Guild of Thought began the arduous process of creating the Grand Archives. They were creating and ultimate history of the lands, especially of Mediterra. They stumbled upon interesting facts, such as Venezzian ancestry in Diyad, the Doric colonization, the sandmen migration from Barbaria, and even the Tundran expedition.
However, the most interesting fact was of Doric history involving the Dark Arcaneum. The Doric people had received the book from an ancient temple of obsidian deep beneath the earth. They moved the book to their temple, and the process of their downfall began. Their people were forever stained with a madness of epic proportions; they had murdered each other in lust for the book. The previous Archnecromancer happened to be Doric.
This news was quite alarming, and the Guild of Thought sent a representative to the Council. Hopefully, they would make it in time.
Meanwhile, Sandromin proceeded to wonder what had occurred in the past hour. It seemed like a fog in his mind. However, that did not matter, and he arose to announce some very important news.
"So, it seems the deserts will now move forward at a greater pace due to the Doric city we have found! We declare the Guild of Thought a public guild! We shall be establishing guild houses throughout the lands. Knowledge shall be brought to all."
It seemed this would appease the peoples in the meantime and begin the move forward to a better world.
And even further on the side of these events, a young man by the name of Alihes had just finished his day's work. He had collected his gold coin for the day from his overseer in the market.
As he walked down the streets, he saw something. Just a glimpse. He decided to pursue it out of greater curiosity. He followed it down one corner, and then the next. Up an alley here, down a street there. He finally reached a dead end and found what he had been chasing: a stray cat.
But he knew it was more than that. Alas, there was nothing more he could do, so he turned around to leave. Just as he turned around there it was; he found what he was looking for. At first, he thought it was a person; then he realized it was glowing. Its shape was humanoid, but it was much more ethereal.
The being glowed with a golden hue and was obviously not of this world. Then it spoke. At first, as if it was a whisper, but the sound increased in volume.
"Hello. I am a remnant of a logipriest; in fact, several logipriests. I am much like the Collective in respect to their thinking."
Alihes was confused, and his face surely showed it.
"I see my words have little effect. What you do need to know is that I have chosen you through prophecy and foreseeing the future. I see you are the best to be chosen as my carrier. I will further explain while we are on our journey. As for now, I will move my consciousness into an item of personal value for you."
And with that, the ethereal being began fading. Actually, more like relocating. Its being moved to the coin in Alihes' pocket, and unbeknownst to him, the coin had adopted the logipriest symbol on it as the being moved into the coin. |

OOC Ooh Sandromin, no offence, but don't you think you've taken quite a large liberty by declaring that the other Logipriests are alive, albeit as a gestalt entity in a gold coin?
Alixenus was as puzzled as everyone else, not least as to why the guards had not challenged the newcomer. Admittedly, he came in the company of Brutus, but Venezzians knew how to fight large creatures, though perhaps not indoors.
"Death you say? Hah! Well I think you'll find that most of the beings around this table have been doing your job for you these past few months. Rather artistically too I might add. But I don't see how you prompted me to hold this conference, that was on the, uh, suggestion of the Diyadian council. Who, as I have heard, were carrying out orders from Thana-"
Realisation hit him with the grace of a Dirk and the force of a Maul. Alixenus just stood there for a long while, staring at the now-risen King of Diyad. |

Was Brutus finally going to see his brothers again? Brutus stood up slowly. "Brutus am not know your true name, but Brutus know what to call you." The giant put his hand on the strangers shoulder. "Friend. Now, we confrence with nations." He motions around the room, and stays standing. "Brutus will help friend." Now the giant stayed silent and waited for the meeting to start. |

Alixenus himself had no clue what to think. Venezzians had a slightly more romanticised view of the Reaper than other human races; imagining him as a companion on your journey, reminding you to cherish every moment. Sometimes the stories attributed an almost Cupidal sense to him. But it was almost never heard of for death to return someone after he had decided to lay them in their earthen bed.

And there he was. The most twisted man in the assembly. In Dustia, even. The cold-hearted tyrant that wished to take Xavier's darling away from him. The one who abuses his people, and laughs at their misfortunes. The one that has cheated death and rose again.
Xavier was shocked. The book was shocked. The book, it did not know what to do. What to say. What to feel. This was Thanatos. Death. The tyrant. The murderer. There was only one feeling the great book could justly feel.
Anger.
Rage.
Hate.
Fear.
What could this man do to Xavier? To The Book? The thought was terrifying. Most terrifying.
So Xavier could only do the one thing he could. And so he rose up, and said:
"Impostor. Impostor!"
Xavier screamed even louder.
"Impostor! This man is a fraud! The late King of Dyad is dead! Killed! Murdered! I saw it with my own eyes. And to top that, the whole temple fell on top of him!"
And as he gazed at the King, a strange phenomena happened.
Xavier fainted.
And in the those last moments before the world went dark, he saw Fate stand before him, holding his great, beloved Book. |

Just as Nexhawk entered Spodium, a young phoenix appeared in the distance and flew toward him, carrying a roll if paper in its beak. The hatchling then sat on Nexhawk's right shoulder and dropped the roll on his palm. Nexhawk patted the bird's fiery feathers and unrolled the letter, which was signed by the captain of one of the ships that were sent to explore nearby lands.
Greetings, Nexhawk!
After several days passed since our departure from Spodium, our ship has finally sailed closely to new land to the west of our first colony. It appears to be separated from the territory we've settled in. On this new continent, what, I suspect, it is, we've seen yet nothing but deserts and small villages that were seemingly away from the shore. Knowing your desire to explore as much of this part of the world as possible, we continued our journey. It seems that we are reaching fertile lands right now as I write this, but, once again, there are no port cities in sight right now. That's why I'm not certain we'll make first contact with any nation of this continent fairly soon.
Ignatus, captain of the "Embershard"
Nexhawk took a small quill out of one of his pouches and wrote a short reply on the back of the sheet.
Ignatus,
Continue sailing around the uncovered continent. Upon passing the first port, dock there and introduce yourselves from my name. Once this happens, send me a message immediately, and I'll arrive without hesitation.
Nexhawk.
While Nexhawk was rolling the letter and putting it into the phoenix's beak, another hatchling, arriving from an opposite direction, landed on Nexhawk's left shoulder and gawked, releasing another letter into Nexhawk's hands. Nexhawk started reading this letter as well.
My lord,
The first several days of our journey have been most uneventful. After traveling north from Spodium and around the continent we've settled on, our ship has set the course due northwest. We've sailed for days without seeing any land, until, two days earlier, a delta of some sorts has been encountered. It appeared to be the place of meeting of waters that washed three landmasses: an apparent continent to the southwest, an island to the southeast, and a larger island to the northwest.
On the continent, nothing could be seen except for tall mountains, which probably cover the northeastern coast completely. The smaller island seems to be a location of at least one ancient city. It's general architecture was unfamiliar to us, but some elements could be found on Praecantaria before. There was no way of telling whether the city was populated or not, so we decided to sail further.
I hope that you will be please to read about our findings on the second island. Its side that is facing us is mountainous in origin, but the mountains are not as tall as the continental ones and reveal lush jungles behind. As soon as our ship moved into the strait between the continent and this island, the entire crew felt something never experienced before; a trace of unknown magic that we didn't meet on Praecantaria. According to your descriptions, we've assumed the traces to be of Life Masters' art. If this is true, then we've truly found what we were looking for!
Right now our ship is anchored in the beforementioned strait, and we await further instructions.
Your faithful servant, Cenizar, captain of "Pathburner"
Nexhawk smiled as he finished reading, flipped the sheet and wrote on the back:
To the captain of "Pathburner",
Truthfully, Cenizar, these are grandiose news! Keep sailing around the newly found island and look for a place to dock and leave your ship safely. Once done so, make a camp on the landing spot and start searching for anything that could've potentially hint at the Life Masters' presence: temples, cities, shrines, crypts, and what not. Report to me upon any such discovery.
Nexhawk, the Fiery Lord
Nexhawk rolled the letter, handed it to the second phoenix, fed several cendren leaves to both hatchlings, and sent them off to carry the replies to the ships. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________
As, during the course of wondrous events in Venezzia, kind Thanatos of Diyad unveiled his presence, Nexhawk felt a surge of unknown power overwhelming him for a moment. Itsorigin was unknown, but, when the feeling passed, he could swore it was somehow associated with death itself.
//OOC: Sorry for such long read, but I got carried away writing those letters. Hopefully, geographical description will give you an idea where the ships are right now. Also, Vyzion, if you don't like where the entire Life Masters thing is going, just say it, and I'll try to provide explanation for why their presence was felt on Logipriests' homeland. //End of OOC\\

Thanatos responds coldly.
" Begone! Leave the presence of Death, before he plagues you prematurely."
Xavier starts to regain consciousness, but his sight remains in the realm of spirits. For once since finding the book his mind is clear. His vision is fuzzy, in front of him he can make out a shadow of a man, the only thing visible are glowing pink eyes. The shadow leaves him with a message.
" You must learn to overcome. Else I end your existence."
The spirit realm shatters before him and his sight lay one more in the real world. Thanatos's eyes cease glowing and he walks away from Xavier. He turns to Alixenus.
"There is much I must explain, this Assembly is over."
He turns to the crowd and announces.

Chapter IV Bojo The Fantastic...
The great things about Moons is that they have the best liquor.
Bojo crawled out from the wreckage. He stumbled out and turned upon the wreck. He fumbled through his pocket, and whipped out a half smoked cigar.
He struck the match against his boot but the head broke. An eyebrow was raised. Bojo looked upon the wreckage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtblCZQXRsA (Read and Listen) 350 Meters of burning ship. The ships in orbit illuminated as bright stars. Bojo squatted low and took his cigar to the flame of the wreck.
He brought it up and got it going for a few puffs. He took a few steps back. A few more, then some more.
"Looky there" he mumbled. "It was a Curse" The Recon Cruiser, crashed and burning. The wonders a Scrambler Pistol can do...
But then he was off, like a shadow in the night. He ran as fast as he could. A mining facility could be seen off in the distance.
___________________Intermission, Enjoy. You're Excited, I Know_______________________ (New Music): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74E4OFTJNW0
They came, hundreds upon hundreds....the SWARM. Jets roared across the sky. LAVs and HAVs raced across the sandy moon surface. All in combination, all in effort, all for the sake, of finding Bojo.
Bojo ran with all his might, but he was tired, and the cigar was long gone. A Saga came over the nearest dune behind. Bojo turned. He dived to the side just as it zoomed by. He got onto his feet as the Saga stopped and the crew dismounted. Bojo took out his knife and charged. He dug it deep into the abdomen of the driver, then withdrew his pistol. The passenger shot off a burst of plasma from his Assault Rifle. Bojo ducked behind the opposing side of the Saga. However a second passenger managed to go unnoticed the whole time. She was fumbling around with a large crate she took off the hitch of the Saga. She opened it.
Bojo peered over the hood of the Saga. He caught a glimpse of a passenger protecting another, one pulled out a small laser installation.
An AV grenade was thrown and a few more. The Saga blew up in a blaze. Bojo pounced from behind the flames and ambushed the two. An Assault Rifle was lifted but laser pulse was sent through the head of the Swarm Mercenary's head. The laser turret engaged and sent a magnificent beam across the sands. Bojo came down from the graceful glide and brought a dusted boot down on the gunner's head, breaking her neck.
A flare flew up into the sky, the driver had managed to shoot it, then died after Bojo gave him an unpleasant look.
The jets roared by.
Bojo took off with great haste to the top of the closest dune. Off in the distance, not too far away, there was a landing pad nearby the mining facility.
Tune in next time to discover the fate that beholds: Bojo The Mighty

" I said begone!
The spirit realm shatters before him and his sight lay once more in the real world. Thanatos's eyes cease glowing and he walks away from Xavier. He turns to Alixenus.
"There is much I must explain, this Assembly is over."
He turns to the crowd and announces.
"Alixenus and the leader of the Sandmen will now be taken to the High Court of Diyad! You are hereby charged with suspicion of imprisoning Diyadian soldiers! We shall set off to Diyad at once! We will arrive by midnight and your trial will begin! Also Sir Giant, if you would accompany me also, our task has not yet been completed." Thanatos, with all his fury and bravado, challenged the mistress that stood before Xavier.
And it was strange, for it 'twas as if he was from another realm. Thanatos and the mistress arguing back and forth, as if lovers. It was quite a sight to behold.
And then she was gone, and the book in his hands. His vision cleared up, and he saw a face that he learned to hate. To despise. And that face said to him:
Thanatos wrote:You must learn to overcome. Else I end your existence.
Xavier smiled a mischievous smile. He has just found an unlikely ally.
"Folly. Such folly."
And Thanatos walked away. He said something to Alixenus. Something sly. Something sinister. As if this was the plan all along. Then that man said something about how he was going to "arrest" Alixenus and Sandromin, in his own palace, mind, and take them to Diyad for a "trial". If this lie was to be believed, Dustia most justly deserves to perish.
And so a test was formed. A test to see who was a conspirator.
Xavier stood up.
"Ha! You sir are the greatest joke I have ever seen in my career as a Politician! Do you really think you have the power and authority to take the two heads of respectable nations prisoner?! Especially one that is in his own palace?! If you were Lucia, your head would be on a pike by now! Alixenus and Sandromin, if you submit to this man, I will be forced to believe that you are conspiring against Lucia, which therefore means that sanctions and a Declaration of War will be placed on your nations."
Ah, Thanatos. Not as sly as you think you are, eh? |

OOC: Oh man Xavier, stopping me at every turn. You're proving to be a formidable foe.
Thanatos isn't fazed by the insult, his voice filled with sincerity.
" To understand one's rights, he must first observe that which has been established throughout history. This Assembly isn't the first. I am simply acting upon principles that were always there. Do you recall the documentation of The first Unified Nations Summit during the second era? There the Laws of International Conduct were first formed. Article XII, Section III states that if a person residing in any of the nations of Assembly are accused of or charged with a crime committed against another nation, they are to receive a fair and speedy trial within the nation of which they are accused of acting against. They are innocent until proven guilty within a court of law. During the Logizombie crisis, I allowed my troops to aid them in their war. This crisis has since ended and no corpse nor remnant has arrived back in Diyad. It is natural that I would be under suspicion that my men are still within their custody. I deeply apologize if I have offended you in some way. As a representative of my people I must stay true to the Laws of International Conduct." |

Veneficus was passing by when Nexhawk grimaced and rubbed his head for a second, overwhelmed by the hidden presence. He rushed to Nexhawk's side and inquired, "What happened? Did you feel something, Nexhawk?"
Nexhawk looked up at Veneficus and nodded. "Something... strange revealed itself, Veneficus. I felt an unknown aura as if it washed over me like a giant wave."
Veneficus recoiled, and his countenance became one of nervousness. "Did the Hydromancers come here?"
"No, no, that wasn't their magic. The aura stank of death, the very essence of it. But, mind you, it was not one of the Deathlords." Nexhawk looked around confusedly. "It was a trace of indistinguishable magic, one certainly not native to Praecantaria. And whoever this person I felt might be, he or she resides here, either on our or one of the neighboring continents."
"I see," replied Veneficus. "My wishes are that we will learn more about this unknown power in a peaceful way."
"Yes," Nexhawk agreed. "I certainly hope so." |

[OOC]Thanatos, I must give you props with the Fate moment. I was honestly not expecting that.[/OOC] Xavier was bemused. This was almost a game of chess. Thanatos moves, then Xavier. The rook is in play. How will Xavier counter?
"Interesting move, Thanatos. To tell you the truth I did not know of previous Assembles. But as you know my land was in a Civil War for most of it's existence, and with all this rabble of Archnecromancer and Zombies, I never had time to catch up on my reading."
Xavier looks at the book in his hand. It is smiling at him.
"You see, Thanatos, I do not know if you cannot remember, but do you recall the temple? The temple with this book? The temple where you were killed by the Mistress? DO you remember how you got there? By Land? By Sea? How about air? Yes, these men traveled in the air! It was a marvelous contraption, it truly was. But do you know where it did to my men? And you purposely did this, I am quite positive. It killed my men. All of them. All 40!"
Xavier stomped his foot on the ground. That bastard Thanatos. The murderer. The tyrant. The man who has technically enacted war on his nation. The rage, you could taste it. It seethed out his ears and on to the ground.
"You purposely did that. You knew that this would happen! That my men would be curious. That my men would touch it! And I tell you his, and everyone in this Assembly will agree, if you want to protect a vessel, you do not need to place a shocking contraption deadlier then a Man 'O War! So here is what I have to say. Say to all Nations, To all Peoples! And especially, to the wives and mothers, to the daughters and sons of those dead men! I accuse you of the murder of the armed military men of Lucia! If you believe in your laws as you say you do, then you will come with me. You cannot get out of this. Please do trust, you trial will be fair and speedy." |

Brutus was enraged at the dwarf and it could be visibly seen from everyone else. This 'dwarf' was an abomination to his people. He was like a human man, and like many humans, his ambitions were to great for him. Brutus' rage finally boiled over. The giant walked up to the dwarf and bent down to eyes level so the dwarf would know what rage was upon him. The giant spoke in a low, even voice. "Brutus doesn't care what happens to Brutus, but if dwarf makes allegation one more time, Brutus will smash dwarf against the earth. Dwarf blood will water the ground, and meat will feed the beast. Brutus will destroy you. You are a bug to Brutus and. Bugs. get. Squashed." Each word, each syllabal became louder and angrier until the giants voice was a typhoon of rage and power. This wasn't the giant the dwarf had seen sobbing, this was a force of the earth standing in front of him. Thanatos was death but Brutus was the avatar of rage, and every ounce of anger was directed at this welp of life. This little thing of ambition, this pawn of a book! Brutus hated the dwarf.
