devs have already stated that they don't intend to use the unreal 4 engine.

You're all just crying that these things won't come out on PS3. They're still committed to fulfilling all of their "promises" (like they owe us promises). For example, having a player market integrated with EVE is one reason WHY they chose to move to PC, so that they can actually do it. They wanted to do it all on PS3 and couldn't. Now they're moving to PC so that they can actually fulfill their promises regarding what the game was supposed to be and you all are calling them liers. Doesn't add up. They're giving you everything they committed to and more, but because it's not exactly the way you want it you're throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Its unreal 3, They modified it. You should probably do some research before jumping to conclusions.

Also zzZaXxx CCP failed on many promises for the console player base. There were many piece of equipment that were suppose to be deployed in 2013 like the stasis webifer, and the energy drainer. Everyone else who has commented mention their "laser focus on Consoles" and they did not mention bring Dust to PC (or in this case Legion as this is the first we have hear of this project).

Hatred is not geared towards PC platform or the PC community but how CCP decided that alienating a community from is "focused" platform to improve the game in a easier method is more important (which is their right as a company to do so, of course this will have severe ramifications now and the future to come).

Now is a PC platform a smarter move. Probably given how the PC is a easier architecture to design, while PS3 architecture is extremely complex. Notice how CCP did not use any excuses on hardware capability for the PS3? its because PS3 can handle what the Legion is capable of doing, but its extremely difficult to do so because of PS3 architecture is a ***** to design.

You do realise that the game being released on the pc (if it gets the green light) is not dust , its called legion. Might have the same mechanics but it isnt DUST

Saberwing says their engine is so heavily modified that there isn't much point in them going to UE4. That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't if something comes up, but it looks like their version of UE3 is doing what they want it to already.

the game is the story, the features and how a game is played not the console it is on. legion will have all of what dust has with new advancements on every feature. change is not a new game its just plain old change. every single feature of dust, all be it changed in a small way will be in legion. that to any sane person makes dust, legion.
