There is still lag in pub matches today. There will always be lag and based on your video evidence you were doing pretty well on connection and the Battle Servers spinned up for the tournament are special PC districts.

WTF was the only violators the entire tournament on the roster mismatch and WTF did it on purpose as a means to get out of the tournament.

Well like I said there is a process to it and organized structure and procedure. The main point is you shouldn't be using the glitch to gain things but to prove replication steps. Sometimes there are no rewards sometimes there are but more likely if you post a video on how to redo it and give it address it directly to CCP they're not going to ban you or mutilate you in any way. Now mass exploits that are widespread such as the melee glitch here are definitely not going to net anything, but finding massive issues before they're a problem and helping CCP prevent it from becoming an epidemic would be more possible and also ask for a reward. It wouldn't hurt if your group found it first, found it in secret and nobody raises a stink anywhere about it as CCP quietly takes the poor glitch to the backyard stump.

Your argument is unbelievably illogical. There are two lists of rules. I read the list of rules related to the event, was never told of a second list. I can forgive the fact that there were TWO lists of rules, but they were different. List 1. List 2 (event rules that I saw). One list has a rule about glitching, one list does not. Even the rule about glitching mandates that I am to receive a warning, and if I break the rule again, then DQ is in order. DQ doesn't come first just because I wasn't warned by CCP before I glitched multiple times. To top it off, I was never warned. Worst that could happen at this point according to UF rules is we receive a loss for the round we glitched in. That does not change the outcome of the tourney however.

I watched DEV posts go up on friday all around this thread, they literally ignored it.

Will we get a response tomorrow? Only god knows.

I am not trying to make a statement of supporting cheating I am more inference to CCP GM team's ability to deal with game bugs used to gainful advantages is too limited and hard to prove. There is really no battle recording in eve, no event logs and no way to reconstruct fights yet in Dust 514.

Not gonna get into this waste of time argument, but if you had pay attention to the forums, you would have seen a number of AE players admitting that what's his name used the exploit. What makes you think he didn't use it in the tourney? Nobody has reason to lie about it do they?

I didn't play in the tourney game, but for my whole team to come back and say they were being killed via melee? lol... yea no proof needed. He's a known exploiter of the mechanic, but hey, we need video proof! lol

CCP is a joke, and they won't ban anyone. They can't afford to... literally. They make a broken game, and they can't punish people for exploiting it. Simple as that.

This is a dangerous precedent though. Forums admissions cannot be reliable evidence worthy of ban. Think ultimate troll cept your target is a company and the trap is set with lawyers.

There is no such thing as honor or integrity amongst these types. There is no sense of belonging or responsibility to the DUST community in them. No, instead, it is all about them, what ever they can do to boost their in game stats. It really is pitiful, because, essentially, this is all their life will ever amount to. These are their greatest accomplishments, therefore they feel the need to defend such selfish and inexcusable behavior with the fervor of a man clinging to the edge of a cliff. You see, if they admit they are wrong in their actions, they, then they admit they have accomplished absolutely nothing with their lives except cheating on a video game.

While I am not accusing AE of doing this it's generally not a smart plan to punish people over things not in forum posts based on forum posts. You can punish all you want as long as its in the forums on the forums though such as bad remarks and the sorts but a guy admitting he curses a lot on voice comms? You see the issue with that now.

Please link me to where in the rules it says that if I glitched multiple rounds before receiving a warning I get banned. I'd like to read it. Infact, quote it here. And I'm sorry but unlike you I don't feel like waiting around for a dev post that will never come.

Due to King Kobrahs mega rant we decided to take all districts away from EON in PC. Furthermore Ancient Exile members are getting rewarded 1 million SP for uncovering the melee glitch which lead us to a way to fix it in 1.5.
And the final word about the tourny outcome for King Kobra: we (Crowd controll productions) will give you bull

If I had video evidence and witness testimony of someone committing a crime in court, or cheating in sports (think baseballers using steroids), that would be all the evidence needed to convict.

How is there no leverage here? Clearly a large portion of the community is outraged this has been allowed to happen.

Blood tests were done at a college lab instead of criminal lab. - Thrown out.
Video was a home production that was cut, pasted and edited - Thrown out regardless of content.
Testimonies of Witnesses where found out to bribed. - Thrown out.
There was nobody at the ball game watching it either.

All we have is we know that there was a rental on the stadium, for two teams and we know what every score on the board sounded like if it was a wooden or an aluminum bat.

We have no idea Who is on first, what is on second and I don't know on third.
