I would suggest using a dropship to fly around behind the tank on the hill to take him out with small rail turrets or dropping infantry with AV grenades, but we all know that the sophisticated flying machines of the future can't fly that high.

The dropship is certainly large enough to carry nine mercs. If this were the army they would be stuffing a dozen or more inside. It would be nice to be able to deliver a full squad of six and still retain the ability to provide close air support....
