The railgun needs a range Nerf... Or a range at all. Everything else is fine, but when things start exploding cause 1 adventurous tank decides it wants to sit up on a mountain safely out of range of everything else, it's annoying... As another tanker, it's absolutely infuriating to lose an incredibly expensive tank of my own without even the ability to fight back since my bullets just simply disappear for no reason after a certain point.... Seriously, give a long range even... I just don't wanna see a small spec on a mountain in. the distance blowing everything and everyone up anymore.... Was kinda shocked I didn't see another post on this. |

Not saying it should be nerfed. It's strength is fine. It's just incredibly hard to fight back when it's shooting grin miles away. Especially since rails and forges don't have trails and it's hard to find where it's coming from. I'm even ok with it having long range. It should, it's a rail gun. But it's simply not fair for other things in a game when there's a mobile armored sniper cannon/turret lurking about. Lol
Simply put, it's not supposed to be artillery, but it is for some reason. :/ |

Forge guns don't seem to go quite as far. But this isn't about infantry as much as the other tanks. The railgun tank on the mountainside kinda makes other armor obsolete all together. When the range is as long as it is, other tanks that're called in get blown up too quick to really use, and one that're on the ground already have no chance to even attempt closing the gap before ultimately being destroyed since over head cover is far to sparse to use effectively. :/ |

I'll admit I use railguns so I don't want a nerf but I half agree with this and half don't. Yes rails guns have a nice natural range but you wont see them shooting from one side of the map to the other. Railgun damage gets lowered at farther ranges and the impact time decreases making accuracy difficult unless you are an experienced rail gunner. One of the most important things to do when in a tank is to be vigilant I can't tell you how many times a tank has gotten up behind me and totally destroyed me because of the super slow turning time. It's up to you to stay at defensive points and watch your back have team mates on your team to call out enemys with mics. I actually check my map in safe zones so I can get an idea of where all the enemys are. |

Nah.
Do the math. Different Rail Guns have different ranges all ready. And they are not the most accurate thing at range. The Big Hill in Manus Peak is getting over played by the Snipers and the Sniper HAVs that is true. But Nerfing a weapon for one problem in a map is just silly.
Request they change the Red Line in Manus Peak and block the top of the hill. Or make it so there is No way to get past the peak. |

For some strange reason I thought that the rail turrets on tanks were ment to be long range fire support for tge rmoval of enimy armour, instalations and yes personell if they stand still too long or run in predictable paths . Mayby thus is just my opinion but leave my rail turrets alone they are working as intended |

I would suggest using a dropship to fly around behind the tank on the hill to take him out with small rail turrets or dropping infantry with AV grenades, but we all know that the sophisticated flying machines of the future can't fly that high. |

Well something should be done. the across endless across the map shots are annoying. At least make the tank really glow or add a slight trail so we can tell where it's coming from. Sometimes I think someone's just chucking grenades and don't behave appropriately. |

I believe rails are fine, they are powerfull from long range but when in close range they have a very slow turning speed. Pretty balanced i believe |

Its a rail gun, a weapon that has the ability to fire rounds via satelite from orbit. sorry to be sarcastic here (very british of me) But due to the lack of RPS it needs the range to be a viable turet choice. |

1) RDV's come in from the warbarge in ORBIT
2) The tanks simply drive up the road to the hilltop so they don't need to be deployed up there.
