682. Full Employment History - in General Discussions [original thread]
That can't be right, it doesn't go back before 2013. It has compressed my closed beta history into the present year. Edit: I see what it's done. It simply ignores it.

683. I hate to be so final but Rail Tanks are COMPLETELY BROKEN - in General Discussions [original thread]
The redline gives the low tank/high gank rails the protection they need to terrorize the entire map. It is this unnatural protection that allows them to dominate. Make them enter the shared battlefield beforehand they can be effective. Bowl maps...

684. I hate to be so final but Rail Tanks are COMPLETELY BROKEN - in General Discussions [original thread]
The redline is a huge part of the problem. I had a rail ADS take out a rail Sica pretty quickly but you can't do that to a redline tank. In fact the redline is a huge problem in general. I wouldn't be sorry to see it go. If a team gets pushed back...

I run Support Logi 90% of the time. I love shaping the battle with carefully place uplinks, and I can deploy 13 at a time if required. That's followed by triage, armor repping, and ammo hives to keep my team in fighting trim. I can deploy 13 of t...

687. The art of AV was lost after Chrome - in General Discussions [original thread]
I lost three MLT rail tanks on Manus peak last night despite trying to be careful. I never made it very far out of my redline in fact, despite the fact that my team held Bravo and Charlie most of the match. The first was due to a small rail drop...

688. Balancing 0SP Pilots vs Specced Pilots - in General Discussions [original thread]
I don't think CCP wants you to be more effective the more SP you drop, just effective longer. It's a form of tiericide that allows starter players to do something and get a taste. It's not as if having twice the active module time per match does...

690. The art of AV was lost after Chrome - in General Discussions [original thread]
Of course there are skilled and unskilled tankers just as there are skilled and unskilled infantry. New drivers make plenty of mistakes and lose their rides as a result. A skilled driver in a MLT can outplay an unskilled in a STD just as can occ...

691. Tankers we are not proud of you. - in General Discussions [original thread]
We've got a lot of tanks on the field because it's finally possible to play with them without having saved 10M SP first. It used to be so expensive that it was ISK suicide to run anything but a very well fit HAV, and that meant committing a boatl...

They have all the stamina code they need to implement capacitors. That's what they use for infantry. For some reason CCP doesn't think we are capable of handling it.

CCP, are you listening? Here's your chance to encourage more creative play! Give dropships enough protection from redline rails and cheap tactics so we can realize the original vision of assault transport.
