61. Which will happen first: Overwatch released or Legion confirmed? - in General Discussions [original thread]
As players we all want to see it, but wishful thinking isn't going to make it appear. I want the rocket belt I was promised as a kid, but it doesn't exist either. DUST exists only on the PS3 on Unreal 3. There was a hack for Unreal 3 on the PC, b...

62. Which will happen first: Overwatch released or Legion confirmed? - in General Discussions [original thread]
If CCP currently had plans to port DUST they would have told us. There's no point in developing in secret when you can announce and generate excitement and spending. That doesn't rule out a change of heart in the future, but it means their curre...

63. What do I need to get some of this invincible tank action? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I want to learn a new role and take advantage of the vehicular SP that I've already spent. I'm looking for a fun fit to learn the art of driving that is not too fragile for a beginner. The first one feels like it should work. I can go killing bu...

66. What do I need to get some of this invincible tank action? - in General Discussions [original thread]
So seriously, what skills would I need to fit a good training tank? Something good enough to learn the trade without being the total end game? Something that maybe used an Advanced large blaster and sacrificed one or two of the small turrets. I'...

I've got all vehicle upgrade skills to 5 for dropships, along with HAV Operations 1 and Large Blaster Operations 1. How far would I need to bump these (and related proficiency) to enjoy this reputed invincibility? Does one need a prototype tank, ...

So CCP is still using explosive paint on dropships? They must have gotten a hell of a deal on it.

70. Nerf impenetrable Madrugars already - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'm not surprised this argument is still running more than a year after I left. Tanks are impossible to balance as long as they have the exact same mission as a dropsuit and can be effectively piloted by one player. They are effectively a "Super ...

Is Judge Rhadamanthus still around? That man is the best pilot I have ever seen on top of making the best evaluations of dropship balance that this forum has ever seen.

Neither the PC nor console are outright superior in all ways. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. The point to consider is how the goals of the game fit each platform.

75. Dropships have no opportunity - in General Discussions [original thread]
So the Devs have recently attempted to work on dropships? Interesting. I couldn't get them to listen back in 2013/14. The base problem CCP has with vehicles is they don't have a main role outside slaying infantry, and as long as that holds true ...

I'm fitting a Python to see if I can take out a SL one on one. The Incubus isn't as nimble and I can't fly it like I did the Python. There was a fellow who made the advanced maneuver videos back before Fanfest 2014 who could do it.
