I can confirm this bug. I've been shot out by blasters, large and small. As soon as a blaster starts shooting at your LAV, you can only hope to get out of its effective range before your dropsuit gets killed.

We already have an incentive to play: active SP accrual. I'm sorry but you're only placing those people that can't log in regularly at a disadvantage. Passive SP is the only thing that's keeping those players from falling far behind.
