863. Reduce 1.7 vehicle SP sink! - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'll probably max out a Logistics and Assault suit, Dropsuit Upgrades, two light weapons, and one sidearm before saving SP to get back into vehicles. That should be around 36M SP. Being versatile as infantry is also rather expensive and grabbing ...

864. Reduce 1.7 vehicle SP sink! - in General Discussions [original thread]
Vehicles appear headed for an endgame role after you attain one or two infantry roles. Unless they become very inexpensive and more maps open up you won't be able to sustain piloting financially at the start of your career. You will definitely ne...

As a Logi I LOVE Domination on that map! It's a gigantic meat grinder, guaranteed to give me over 1K WP on my uplinks alone. I augment that with triage hives and the points roll in. When I have a spare moment I lob grenades from a few kills of my...

870. [Discussion] The sidearm-only logi argument. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Logistics is a support class, so it should be able to use supporting weapons such as the mass driver and any other that gets released. These are light weapons, so the logistics suit must be able to fit light weapons.

Here's a thought, create variants that are more maneuverable and require more player skill to operate. Instead of buffing eHP or slot counts significantly when going ADV or PROTO, you give players a more complex base frame that is capable of more...

I want player skill to be required for high level play. Yes, anyone can fly a dropship to crash it on top of a roof to set up a sniper nest, but they won't be effective assault pilots. The easier a weapon is to use the less damage it can be allow...

I find it difficult to let go of the controller to take a drink without getting shot, it's just constant dancing even when I'm not headed anywhere. When I scan I add a spin to the dance for which I simply have to close my eyes or I get sick.

With a minuscule TTK and snipers you must be in constant motion. Need ammo? Dance around the hive. Guarding an objective? Run around and through it. It's enough to give me a headache some times.
