I don't mind the ambush matches, but sometimes I feel like rocking skirmish for a while. It gives me a chance to try out tactics and fits with my squad that may not apply to ambush as well.

I think that 1200m would be too much range and make the forge OP. I think it would make sense to have the different variations have different effective ranges. Assault would be the shortest, then Standard, then Breach with a much longer range then...
