I don't mind the odd match of Ambush, but I prefer Skirmish. It would be nice if we could set a filter for Instant Battle so we could do only Skirmish or Ambush. |

There should be the option to choose which type of battle you want to join. The current system gives you no notice of what type of battle you have been FORCED to join, and therefore not enough time to choose the right weapon layout. |

Even though I somehow came to like that I was forced to learn Ambush mode, I agree with the OP. In the sooner future it would be good to have a choice or at least some balance. ATM it seems like 80% Ambush and 20% skirmish. +1 |

Another vote for a filter on Instant Battle. However I do like the more refined matchmaking in the current build. |

Totally agree,,,,
Just get the feeling the majority of Ambush matches at the moment are for testing purposes (who even bothered playing it before??)
Smells of Beta testing pushing us towards the bits that need problems ironed out of to me so I think you'll be happy with it soon enough  |

I actually leave Ambush battles, which probably means someone else has to join a game midstream, a lose-lose situation for both of us.
I just want to play Skirmish unless I specify Ambush.
Or just put Instant Battle on Skirmish only. |

I'm all for this. I got 5 Ambush matches in a row yesterday, after having never played a single one for a reason. Very annoying. |

I don't mind the ambush matches, but sometimes I feel like rocking skirmish for a while. It gives me a chance to try out tactics and fits with my squad that may not apply to ambush as well. |
