342. February?????? - in General Discussions [original thread]
I've given up on the events. They are never very good. Most likely it's going to be some bonus for using rifles. Perhaps they will give a bonus to redline rail tanks and other tanks. Or double Isk if you lock your district in PC. But one event t...

344. so I tried the scanner for the 1st time - in General Discussions [original thread]
1.8 will very much fix the scanner issue. No more 360 scans and no more perma scans. A Gal Logi will still be pretty good with one but the scan angle should greatly limit their abilities.

345. when is 1.8? - in General Discussions [original thread]
They are on break for Chinese New Year so it won't be the end of the month. I would put best estimate at end of February at the earliest. However, I have that sinking feeling 1.8 might not show up until Fanfest. But we'll see.

347. The Solution To Prototype Stomping - Final - in General Discussions [original thread]
I've always considered this a gamemode issue. It's obvious CCP wanted people to graduate out of pubs. However, both FW and PC are terrible in design that everyone is just funneled right back to pub matches. FW just cannot sustain itself while PC i...

348. Everything I think is wrong with Dust 514 - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'll disagree on Isk payouts, they are not too low. There are variables we do not know that contribute to afk getting more isk for less work. They need to make the formula known for us to give any real feedback. I'll add in information that curre...

349. The stomping is unbearable - in General Discussions [original thread]
Remember, CCP absolutely hates any kind of new/casual players. They would much rather have a player count of 3k then do anything to help. What else explains poorly done gamemodes that only funnel every single player back into pubs? Why kick every...

351. On Protostomping- not a QQ post - in General Discussions [original thread]
I agree that matchmaking is an issue but feel the problem really lies in gamemode design. All the gamemodes funnel the player back into pubs and that is a bad idea. PC is far too limited to pull any vets away, at least for long. It's extremely ha...

352. For the Love of God. Equipment isn't Getting Nerfed. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Let's call the equipment less effective not ineffective. We'll do fine with the new equipment. Scanners were broken. Uplinks were way too fast, essentially killing CRUs and MCRUs. Rep tools and nanohives seemed fine but apparently CCP thinks the...
