I think only the other way around will be in place, with Dust players potentially making it more costly to move each m3 of PI material to the customs office in space. Haven't heard anything about PI being able to influence Dust battles.

Hit detection is the main issue. They die really fast when bullets hit them. If bullets are actually allowed to do damage to them in the future, their movement speed will probably be fine.

It'd be cool if the HMG could "deploy" like machine guns in other FPS games. Become immobile and with a narrow field of fire, but greatly increase the accuracy and stability of the gun. Like the heavy bolter from Space Marine, or something.
