I usually just think about some funny scene from an anime and can't help but smile like a dork in front of other people.

"what's so funny?"
"Hanayo just can't get enough of that rice" *snicker*

I don't know how, but it seems to take me 50 minutes to watch a 30 minute episode. I think it's cause of those damn advertisements. The worst is when they don't even load up quickly, wasting your time.

I never get ads, the only ones i get are banners and stuff on the side which i always hit hide on. Kiss anime and gogoanime are alright as i get no pop up ads. but gogo has a lot more side banners ect that annoy me.

after dropping a small list of terrible short 5 minute shows *Inugami one was great* i've decided to give High School DxD S3 a looker.


... did it get even more perverted then the first two seasons? lol

I must say, congratulations ToraDora! This is it. The anime that finally has forced me to stop watching anime. There is absolutely no where I can go from here. Everything else looks like a pile of trash now. It took two whole episodes to blow 99.99% of all other anime out of the water. Anime has been a blessing in my life, but I can no longer continue....

That's how I felt after I watched Shakugan no Shana. Trust me; you'll recover.

"Sakura Trick" and "Your Lie In April" are numbers 1 and 2 for romance above Toradora

The other two in my top 5 are "No Game No Life" and "The World God Only Knows"

Even further, "Watamote" and "Wolf Girl and Black Prince" are also rated above it for me personally (even if not technically in my top 5) simply because I relate to them more and remind me specifically about people in my life...


Toradora does hold a very VERY special place in my heart for the "again" scene. Not many shows out there get that sort of thing right.

With anime in general, it seems like you end up liking different shows for different reasons. It's like music. Some is clearly better than others, but each one has varying amounts of good points.

Which is why No Game No Life will probably be #1 for a long, LONG time for me. And honestly, I'm perfectly okay with that.

It has a fantastic plot even with the copious amounts of fanservice
It is both hilarious and serious at the same time and doesn't break a sweat
The animation style is unique, and the colors pop (especially with everything being outlined in red instead of black)
There is a whole kingdom of Animal Girls
The soundtrack has a ton of variety
This show can make Rock Paper Scissors complicated
Both main characters act as one character, as if they share the same mind, yet still are completely separate...which is impressive to portray.

The only thing I don't think is super amazing is the OP. The song choice wasn't fitting I guess.

It's the most recent "live" version that has the option to load in videos without compressing them...but other than that I don't use anything complicated or fancy.

I don't even know if it's right to call what I did an AMV, but it's similar enough to an actual one. When I think AMV I think a song with scenes from the anime shown specifically to reflect the emotions of the song at that current point.

First you need source material (technically the illegal part where you record or rip what you want...it's easier for me since all I have to do is record 1080p from my PS3 while playing crunchyroll. If you really feel like being cheap you can just download youtube videos)

You add the video to Movie Maker, then reduce the video volume to 0.

Next find a song (preferably one that isn't popular or won't end up blocking your video because of copyright).

Then all you have to do is line up the clips to the audio. There are plenty of movie maker tutorials if you don't know how to use the program, but basically there is a line that you can move through the string of video to choose where exactly to cut it. Once cut, you then have two separate strings of video.

You cut the video up into the clips you want, delete the excess, and constantly play back the video until it looks the way you want it to look.

Finally you export it, which depending on your computer and length of video and detail...can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 3 hours. Figuring out the best settings for exporting is also something you should look up a tutorial about...but there should be an option that says "for high definition displays" and that will work just fine (unless you have a crap computer then maybe it isn't the best option)

It's not easy, it takes a lot of time, but I will say it's probably easier to learn than Dust 514.

Y'know it may be a huge sin.....but I thoroughly enjoyed the english dub of Toradora. Actually I just love the anime itself and for a fan the dub offered a new perspective on the same story.

i've been following RWBY pretty closely, and season 2 finished ages back. its creator monty oum (of haloid fame) died back in january and the future of the series was in the air for a bit, but earlier this month they said volume 3 was in production, no eta when its gonna release though. fanfiction is the only thing keeping my interest in its universe sated right now, its really is a great setting.
