First Episode I found to be good. Really laid on the heavy emotional tones......kinda lost it after the second episode and developed more into the typical "genuine guy tries to deal with the light comic relief socially impaired girl who never smiles".

Y'know it may be a huge sin.....but I thoroughly enjoyed the english dub of Toradora. Actually I just love the anime itself and for a fan the dub offered a new perspective on the same story.

9/10
Absolutely loved this show. Some good humor, a light-harem storyline (contest is mainly between two interests, though the winner is obvious) and, best of all, the twist involving the ramifications of the "heroic" actions taken by the protagonist all come together well in a concise run of 12 episodes (not counting the OVA.) As with many other shows, there's a few dangling plotlines that could be expanded upon if future episodes are made, but the show wraps up nicely enough to leave viewers satisfied (though I would argue that the ending is too saccharine-sweet for my tastes.) Animation is beautiful throughout.
My biggest complaint would be how Lisara is presented as anything but a strong character when it comes to actually fighting; seriously, she runs out of energy within ten-twenty seconds and must rely upon Ryosuke to help her win the battle. Yes, this does enable Ryosuke to take on the role of power-fantasy hero but there's no reason that it should be done at the expense of Lisara's strength as a character.
Now I'm off to find the next show to watch before I'm off to work!
But then when you he get to talk about how **** are the stuff of men's dreams in a noble fashion without sounding like an absolute ****?

Why did no mention this show before? It's funny, great cast, great romance, and leaves the world open to the imagination of what else could be in here knowing what we do.
Story - 6/10 Ever wanted a loli king? Ever wanted a sadist tsundere loli king? How about a sadist tsundere loli king who just recently conquered the world matched with a beautiful spunky girl who don't give a **** what others think? Look no further! It's a recipe for humor and unexpected drama as these two protagonist of our story bump heads with each other and everyone around them.
The King of the Sun, as he is named after his land, sought the hand in marriage of a noble blood line from the Principality of Rain, said to posses strange powers that can call rain. He didn't care which princess, all known for there beauty, he just wanted the power they posses.
After a life or death game of rock paper sisscors between the princesses, our female protagonist is sent on her way to meet her new husband, but before she does she tours the country.
The Rain country is very poor, underdeveloped, and low populated. Even so, she didn't expect the people of the sun to be taken care of so well by there king, who may of taken the world by force, but he treated his people well improving irrigation and other important facilities to maintain there daily living.
They loved him for that, but they also feared him, for his anger was quick to come.
When she finally meets the king - he isn't what she expected being torn a part by different sets of rumors about the same man. And when he meets her - she holds nothing back, and lands her in prison.
Problem with the story is that it failed to explain a lot of context and backgrounds - like why the king even wanted to marry anyone to begin with, he could just force the country to do as he wants with his military might.
Characters - 8.5
music - 6
VA's - 6
Over-all - 7.5 - i recommend this show to romance/comedy fans.
I really liked this one simply because for what it was it was a really asymmetric romance with a pretty engaging plot that didn't attempt to stuff comedy into some pseudo-light hearted narrative.

That was a sad one to be sure.....but I'm not sure it trumps Clannad without the knowledge that you are watching the 'Bad Ending' of the visual novel.

I'm quite hooked on RWBY which is less an anime and more just a cartoon I should think.
But I really do like it for what it is being a webseries produced by the same people who made Red vs Blue and being his original creation. Voice acting is pretty good, animation style reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles which is a game I adored, action scenes are really kick ass.

To be honest I never really ever enjoyed shooters (third of first person) until I played Conker's Bad Fur Day Multiplayer.... every game I ever enjoyed was an RPG.
Zelda: Link's Awakening Legend of the River King
Tales of Symhonia (Best Game Ever Made IMO)
Valkyria Chronicles (Hidden Gem of the PS3)
Haven't played anything as good as Valkyria Chronicles in years as it was emotionally evocative enough to really make me care about my Squad 7 (which incidentally was exactly the same as the anime Squad 7) and hell it's about a bloody Tiger Tank called the Edelwiess.
My Dust 514 RP Character , Kador Ouryon, is a combination of Welkin Gunther's peacemaker ideals and many of Berserk's protagonist Guts physical attributes.

Most of the games that I love are RPGs and Platformers. All Legend of Zelda (my favorite series) inFAMOUS series Sly Cooper Series Final Fantasy X, X-2, XI, XIV Dark Cloud Skies of Arcadia (best game ever made IMO) Rogue Galaxy Sonic series Chrono Trigger (the real best game) And the list goes on, pretty extensive list so it would take days to list em all. The only FPS series I really played was Halo, and Doom that one time
Oooh good call on Skies of Arcadia. That was a huge amount of fun especial with that one epic character Piastol who used the Scythe.
Also check out Baiten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean for a chaining card based RPG. Basically you build decks of cards you collect for each character trying to chain numeric sequences for increasing damage.
Of course the other must play is Demon's and Dark Souls. Those were wonderful games.

RWBY is really good. Also, it is not an anime. Depending on your definition of anime that is. Honestly, it's such a shame that Monty passed away before his series was fully realized. The animation, and world-building of RWBY is much better than RvB, but the dialogue still has a bit to go. In season 3 though, you can really see it start to blossom. Valkyria Chronicles.... I still need to beat that tbh. I'm the kind of guy who likes to complete an entire skirmish in one sitting, so the 30-50 minute battles, plus all of the movie scenes really served as a hindrance to me. If you're looking for a really good JRPG, I'd suggest The World Ends With You. The soundtrack is stellar, the themes are meaningful, the art is gorgeous, and it's my favorite DS game of all time. If I ever bothered to compile my list of favorite games TWEWY would definite be on it. Dust would too, but Dust would also be on my least of least favorite games....
The scenes are the best bits of the game as it tells a story easily as interesting as that presented in Band of Brothers.

Admittedly I quit pretty much right before I beat it, but I doubt some random scythe user would show up. Also, the best part of Skies were the ship battles. Well, the cool world you could explore was the best part. Then the ship battles.

Oooooh and if you can pick up Tales of Symphonia. It's 80+ hours long, has awesome characters, and even has its own three season anime.
The opening theme...
Ultimately I think Sheena's character was the coolest with the biggest Over Limit Techs ever.

Animation style, presentation, and source really.
I'd define anime as a style of animation originating from Japan that is typically based on a successful manga. RWBY is different enough that I don't see it as an anime, influenced by it certainly, but not one itself.
I refuse to label every cartoon with googli-eyes an anime. Like Avatar it's not really an anime.

Like Avatar it's not really an anime. So what are your thoughts on Heroman, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, and Powerpuff Girls Z? EDIT: Also, Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio (Arpeggio of Blue Steel)? And finally, what do you mean by presentation?
Originally RWBY was a web series.... still is really and I don't think it has been aired on television but then again I could be wrong.
As for Arpeggio I leave this "Arpeggio of Blue Steel (FÆ+püìTï+pü«péópâ½pâÜpé+pé¬ Aoki Hagane no Arupejio?) is a Japanese manga series produced by Ark Performance and serialized in Sh+ìnen Gahosha's Young King Ours. Nine manga volumes have been released"
PPGZ " PPGZ for short, is a Japanese magical girl anime series directed by Megumu Ishiguro, based on the American animated television series The Powerpuff Girls. The anime is co-produced by Cartoon Network Japan and Aniplex and was animated and produced by Toei Animation, featuring character design by Miho Shimogasa (Cutie Honey Flash, Ultra Maniac). As production occurred in Japan, Craig McCracken, the original creator of The Powerpuff Girls, was not directly involved with the project."
Heroman as I understand it was produced by a Marvel Comic writer though it uses all of the tropes associated with the general of manga despite the one who wrote it.
And tbh I've never heard of the other one.

In game Regal is hard to learn but really rewarding for the aerial gameplay.
That said I was trying to describe Regal's character to someone.... it basically ended up something like this.
"There's this guy called Regal you get mid way through the game whose hands are shackled together and fights exclusively with his feet on par with angels, the main character, and giant monsters. Why? Because if he were fighting with his hands it would be too easy...
....Oh did I mention he's actually a martial arts specialist whose original skill set was boxing?"
That said Sheena is the best character and that's not because she's the bustiest. It's the way you get her as a character after she appears as a boss 3 times in the game, the third time being literally the worst fight in existence as she appears right after the Iapryx boss in the Balacruf Mausoleum and having a stupid Pyre Seal that can burst damage you down 800 HP.
That and the fight against that ninja at the end of the game if you are good enough.
