Overlord - really, really getting annoyed by the pacing of this show.
A whole of 1 thing happens each episode, and they put such emphasis on what seems like unimportant details that the show crawls to conclusions.

Railgun definitely has a better cast. However, Index took the story further. Personally, I liked Railgun better. I just wish they gave either show another 2 or so seasons. I'll have to pick up the light novels sometime.

railgun gets pretty yuri and silly in season 1 and the second half of season 2, whereas index stays more serious, so i understand your preference there soul. i just prefer railgun because we get to see more of my favorite character in the show (misaka) and how she has to come to terms with and deal with a problem outside of her capability (the sisters).

Re-watching some shows now while I wait for the new shows to wrap up.
Maken-Ki (Season 1 & 2) -- 5/10
Pure fan service with outrageously proportioned women, you can see its influence on shows such as DxD. Show oddly flips the script on typical harem by having (some) plot develop during the first season and then using the second season for the "one episode per girl" background info (though this hurts the show, in my eyes.) Kodama is an awesome character.
Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero -- 8/10
Really enjoyed this show, perhaps even more so the second time around. Akitsuki is simply awesome as the bad-ass protagonist with a heart of gold; what's even better is his propensity to ignore embarrassing situations (particularly those that he causes for the girls around him) while keeping his calm demeanor, and with just a hint of playfulness. Really, really hoping to see a second season that deals with the group going to Miu's world.

One of the best shows currently airing. I remember someone once saying that it was growing stale because not much was happening. I thought about that, and I ask: What could happen? If they do anything that isn't just living their lives the show is over. I actually like that it's mostly just them living their normal lives the best they can through all of this.

The worst of the four I'm watching. It's funny, but the main heroine does have a tendency of getting on my nerves a little. It'd go a long way to improving it if she simply made any form of acknowledgement of all the stuff her brother does for her.

Mimi is God-Tier. She has stolen the show, and run away with it. Waifu? Screw waifu. Gimme a million years to reach enlightenment, and I still wouldn't even be close to good enough for her to become my waifu. God-Tier.
Non Non Biyori Repeat:
If I was stranded on an island with only one anime it'd be this one. I end every anime watching session with this one because it's so relaxing. If you haven't seen Non Non Biyori I feel sorry for you.
BTW, has anyone here seen the Hyperdimension Neptunia anime? I've been playing through the games and really enjoy them, but I'm not sure where the anime falls in the story line. So if someone could give me a heads up that'd be appreciated.
