Anyways, I was thinking of moving back into Logistics, because I freaking give up on the paper-thin glass cannon until Active Cloaking comes out. The Learning Coalition started with a bunch of experienced players who want to help new players. We had plenty of Instructors, but no students. So I started recruiting new players to Immortal Guides and getting them the join the Learning Coalition chat channel so these Instructors would have students to teach. Now my recruiting of new players is starting to take off, and we will soon need more Instructors and Mentors to meet the demand. Instructors: People who have mastered a particular role and can act as a subject matter expert to give advice and guidance to new players who are thinking about specializing in that role. Mentors: Experienced players that can run squads and act as role models for new players. They should be able to answer basic questions about the game, such as where to put the first few million skill points, how to make a fitting work, and how to use equipment. When a mentor identifies what role a student is interested in, the mentor should try to arrange to get the student in touch with an Instructor in that role. Ideally I would like to see at least two experienced players (Mentors) in each training squad. I would also like the Learning Coalition to have at least 3 subject matter experts (Instructors) for each role, preferably covering different time zones. To take part, just join the Learning Coalition chat channel and start squading up with new players when you have the time and energy to do so. It would help if you posted here that you are doing so, and what you specialize in, as it helps us to be able to tell the Mentors from the Students. We do not require you to leave your Corp, although we have openings if you want to.

Just don't let Lili force you into the Amarr Assault role right away. lol.

And that's true, Lillica is pretty great at teaching. Certainly better than me. Like I said, with me it boils down to rage and stupidity. Although, last night I was playing solo with my basic Gallente Assault, and for about 2 matched I was unstoppable. 1st Match: 1st Place, 12/1, only death was a tank destroying my tank (I wasn't tanking, I took out mine for a split second to destroy another one literally got 2-3 kills before I was ambushed by a Gunnlogi while trying to recall) 2nd Match: 2nd Place, 24/3, the person that got first was running a squad of 6 so he had Squad Commission bonuses and 2 Orbitals to help him with kills. He still got less kills than me though, so I'm fine. Only deaths were an tank driving me into the redline, a sniper, and an assault, because for a split-second I had terrible aim. Needless to say, I'm pretty great when I'm not raging and/or when running solo AND/OR when it's very late. "But Art, were you running a GEK? Cuz those be OP!" Nope. Running all MLT except my Nanohives, Assault Rifle, SMG, and G-1 Assault Dropsuit, which are all basic.

I bought the house in Markarth! :D So yea. I've still not had a very good experience with the Squad Finder. I still recruited 4 people. Did I do my part? Can I go back to teaching newbies how to correctly use a Plasma Cannon? Or a Commando? I'd say I earn 99% of my pay just because of that alone.
