Tanking is now harder to do. You need to play more defensively sometimes in matches for a higher survival rate. Playing offensively is just more risky now. That's my experience in my militia tanks.

it is probably effective range at 50m. (30% dmg at 50m) and 100% dmg at roughly 35m (optimal range). What was your total dmg received from HMG player? It should have told you in the kill screen. Perhaps you had a second person firing at you.

The laser rifle is hard to aim with when I 'Aim Down Sights'. The camera sensitivity is too high even when the settings are set to zero and zero for both horizontal and vertical rotation of the camera. Reduce the sensitivity by a small amount.
