I like those ideas. Although if your sight is reduced then icons above enemies should not show up beyond a certain range when looking at them in open areas.

The burst assault rifle needs a rate of fire increase by like 110 RPM for adv and proto versions with reduced recoil/kick. Or give it a burst of 5 to 7 bullets with less recoil/kick.

I read somewhere that 1.5 will give scanner users some WP rewards in battle somehow. anyway, +1 for the idea for more skills with the active scanners, like increasing the scan radius or range, length of time that targets remain scanned, etc.

swarms are fine, they have a reduced mag size now so shield and armor tanking without reppers is more appealing now anyway. nitro is still useful, although the bug that enemies need to render at a longer distance should be fixed I suppose.
