223. Sneaky Assault? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Using profile dampeners and the relevant skill on a scout suit is not a bad idea at all. Knives are a bit meh, prolly better off with a main weapon + smg/pistol to be honest. If you want to cover objectives you can also make excellent use of remo...

Damage is calculated by: Starting damage + (0.6*Shots fired) :) Wolfman gave the variable btw so unless it's changed it is still the same.

228. Does aiming affect shotgun accuracy/damage/spread? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The few times I've used one it seems that the target area is circular and just increases with distance.

229. Laser rifle rate of fire (700 RPM ish) - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
From my personal testing it is not a beam as it does the damage when the charge is used up, just like a regular assault rifle. I've gotten similar numbers in testing too, look up cazaderons old laser thread for more info.

231. Does aiming affect shotgun accuracy/damage/spread? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Sure it does, shotgun damage comes from number of pellets hitting the target. The more pellets hitting = more damage, so a tighter spread would mean more damage on target in general.

Unsure I rarely use shotguns myself, but you can test it by going say 6m from a wall with a bit of texture on it and aim at it first using hipfire and squeeze off a few rounds and notice the spread. After this aim down the sights and see if you no...
