Hit detection works, and you have aim-assist. No excuses anymore. If you can't hip-fire from across the map at a grenade launcher shooting slow moving grenades, the problem is on your end.

Explosions already have a -20% penalty to shields. Supposedly there was a bug where they did full damage, but I think it was fixed this patch.
