It'd be nice to know who is who, then you could no longer be justified in thinking it was aim assist that killed you when you see that it was a KBM user whose bullets are all finally hitting. |

Rather than "show KBM", I would prefer an additional, optional filter for matches, where no KBM was allowed. |

It's easy to tell if I'm using the KBM. Am I in the match? Am I shooting? then I'm using the KBM. I don't need no stinking aim assist to torture you all.
Besides, forge sniping doesn't benefit from aim assist. |

No because all this drama with who uses what input device is driving our community apart. |

That's backwards. Allowing people a choice to play in "no KBM" mode, immediately solves the complaining about "KBM users have an unfair advantage Dust sux". It gives those people a nice area to play in, rather than just quitting the game entirely in disgust.
Or are you really complaining that if this happens, you wont have pure controller users to pick on any more? :p

No KBM mode, I'll only support if it is labelled in game as "whiny crybaby mode". Not to mention the fact that KBM users can no longer kill crud after 1.4 anyways, because we don't have aimbot, and you do.
I've decided, rather than demand CCP fix it, to change my playstyle to accommodate my newly crippled status. You should learn to do the same. Focus on your strengths, don't cry that you have a weakness. |

This isn't entirely true, I use all AR types with my ds3. And the scrambler pistol. I'm prolly nowhere as good with them as I would be with a kb/m, but I hate using kb/m so I'm stuck with what I have available. |

There is no need for this; all it would do is make people rage against other controllers, start a bunch of unneeded and nonconstructive argument threads, and would further fragment the player-base.
Also, people using the regular PS3 controllers have aim assist and KB+M users don't, so their isn't a need for that info to show up or segregation. |

oh god I much as this is a bad idea yes please at least we can get some real answers.
that said what I would expect to see is mostly ds3 ond the bottom tier by 66-75%, in the mid range mostly mkb, and in the high end DS3 with a few kbm mixed in. |

Here's the funny thing: They can't show you. At least as far as I understand.
First problem: You can have K/M connected to your PS3 and still have a controller active on Channel 1. This also means btw. that you can use aim-assist with K/M. Also K/M is no real K/M. It still emulates the controller. So it would be pretty hard to tell you who is using what in the killscreen.
Also: What would you gain from it? This would only lead to more QQing. |

I just don't think what someone's preferred input device matters, it's just going to bring up more QQ and we need that like we need another nerf topic. Play the game, if you keep dying look for ways to improve instead of blaming everything else. |
