ScR rifle should be scared of gallente, MD should be scared of caldari. MD does good against shields. That and the fact it throws your aim with every hit, you don't really have a chance.

The problem with the md is that Flux grenades REALLY helps it. And the assault variant is insane!

Give the new aim assist a couple of weeks to see how it changes gameplay. The MD previously used to be insanely effective at close quarters due to the ability of the user to jump around and fire without needing to have 100% accuracy; bunny hopping becomes a very effective tactic. However, from what I hear bunny hopping in CQC has been rendered ineffective by the aim assist, so the greatest advantage of the MD has been reduced. I'm guessing now combat will be pushed back, ranges between enemies will be greater as people choose to fight ADS rather than hip-firing since hip-fire is so risky with the new AA, and hence the MD will become ineffective at these medium ranges compared to the damage output of an AR, for example. |

The over 1000 eHP Cal Logi's wielding Duvolles when I'm out of flux grenades would beg to differ. It would take landing all 6 EXO-5 rounds to strip his shields (6 seconds), then a reload (4 seconds), followed by 4 more well placed rounds (4 seconds) to finish him off. That's 14 seconds to kill one dude. If I did flux him, it would still take me twice as long to kill him (4 shots), than it would for him to melt me with his bullet hose. I don't think you are shielding properly? |

I think it would be interesting to exaggerate the resists/damages between shield and armor a bit more, and then tweak (maybe lower) the damage on all rounder weapons. Could make for more varied play, adding more rock/paper/scissors to the gameplay. |

Explosions already have a -20% penalty to shields. Supposedly there was a bug where they did full damage, but I think it was fixed this patch. |

there was no bug, just butthurt whining that AoE strikes negated the wobble-drunk-strafe and bunny hop elitepvp.
even at -20% they still hit like a truck. |

When scrambler rifles dont kill my Gal Logi as fast as a MD then you can talk to me about nerfing the MD. Until then have you tried this game called COD, I hear its what QQers want this game to be. Go check it out, stay there... we wolnt miss you. |

I thought the bug made it for 65% against sheilds!! And 135% to armour?? |

Oh wow, very original of you to call me a QQer and mention COD in the same sentence. Stop recycling the same old bullsh*t you heard from a hundred other people.
My point is that the scrambler rifle nor the MD should do massive damage to armour/shield. It evokes a thing like team work and tactics something this game severely lacks, because as soon as anyone mentions an idea for a fix or improvement, some idiot like you who has to swoop in and use the same old ******** argument. We may as well make all weapons hybrids. |

I don't think we need to change anything. If you have a MD and are up against shield tankers use the flux first then rain death with the MD; if you have a ScR and you're up against armor tankers, first strip their shields then finish with a well cooked core locus.
Play to your weapon/grenade strengths to kill more effectively. |
