Done with SAO. It was great, and leaves me wanting more.

I think I want to watch a romance next. I loved the adorable scenes in Chobits, and halfway through SAO (Trying to avoid spoilers, but you guys know what I mean. The two weeks on "vacation"), was also one of my favorite parts of SAO.

So, based off of those two, any ideas?

Also, don't mention Clannad. I haven't seen it yet, and I am not sure if I could handle it. It has been really over-hyped for me.

Little Busters is a lot like clannad tho - the first season was pretty slow. But season 2 just started up and it's already very very promising! :D <3

Little Busters relies a bit too much on loli's for my taste. Though I really like the brown haired girl and black hair girl. May read the manga since Season 2 is just brimming with goodness right now.

Here's an anime I watched a while back: Shinsekai Yori

I think it's a great story. It delves into lots of moral issues within the story.

Basically it's about a utopian society that has phykokinineses powers. As such they are revered to as gods by the lower life forms they rule over. Then 5 kids start learning about the dark truths to the society they live in and crazy stuff happens.

Warning: it does delve into some deep topics. There is a gay scene somewhere in the middle. As well as scenes of oppression of lower life forms

Watch Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

It's a nice slice of life. At least I think it is till the end and then it gets a bit touchy.

Okay, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni may be sick and disturbing, but it legitimately has one of the coolest ways of telling a story. I'm far enough in to kinda understand how it works. This is SPOILER FREE by the way.

So, the entire series centers around an event. The "Cotton Drifting Festival". However, things go wacky and the first arc ends. However, the next arc restarts the event from around the same time, and you see how events play out from a slightly different perspective. The MC never really "changes" but it just spends more time on different characters. The first arc is focused on the MC, while arc #2 is focused around the twin sister of a supporting character. It reveals certain facts that were left out in the previous arc, and leaves you with new questions. It also ENDS DIFFERENTLY.

Not sure how the event keeps changing and resetting, but I'm sure I'll find out in time. It's a giant mystery anime, and it's really good. Albeit VERY DARK.

Kill la Kill won't appeal to many - Gurren Lagann had the same art style and atmosphere, but few can compare.

And watamote was hard to watch for me. Depressing as hell and it never does anything but get worse - she's not improving at all lol

Samurai Flamenco is basically Kick Ass for japan, isn't it? Lol

I see. It's a good thing I read SAO first. I watched SAO after I read the LN, and the LN is farrrr better.

I didn't have any of the time skips in the first volume but rather saved them all and told them in the second volume as extras of I remember correctly.

Okay, So we all know that UFOTable is doing a remake of F/SN

Just finished the 2nd route on the VN.

They had better do Unlimited Blade Works for the remake.

Heavens feel is too dark (Seeing what they did with F/Z, I wouldn't be able to watch it. Too many feels), and the original route is a great vanilla love story, but thats not what I want out of this remake.

Also, Rin makes for a far better main character than Shriou does.

Anyone else want to throw in their opinion on this?

D-Frag: This ones a gem, the brown hair girl really made this show for me, but the loli-blonde is just simply hilarious.

Magi: Seems more of this show is still to come - but from what they have out so far - Spectacular. A must watch for everyone.

To-Rin - This is an Agricultural/comedy/romance show that is surprisingly complicated emotionally, but simple in just about every else. Still, was a relaxing, fun watch.

Nisekoi: This is from the same people who did Maria Holic, Senzuba Sensei, and Bakemontagari, Arwakawa Under the Bridge, isn't it? Love the art. Love the story too. good show all around.

Engaged to the Unidentified - This is my seasons personal favorite, should of been a full 24-26 episodes. :'(

they're the ones that've grabbed my attention so far, i'm also killing time by watching to aru majutsu no index, its pretty good.

Black Bullet has a good loli so far.

Just waiting for her to get the BSOD treatment, since black bullet is proving to be a very dark anime.

other favourite along with chaika, i like dark anime's, and this one is currently towing the line between dark and gruesome pretty well, add on that overly dramatic and mysterious villian and i'm set for a long time favourite, hopefully the rest of the series can keep up the suspense and dramatic style of the episodes so far.

Just watched the third episode of DAL II. They play off the standard and overly cliched "They can't just have that happen! I'll just somehow miraculously and magically change the ******* universe so that what I desire is what happens!". I do like the twins though, and with that said: there was a nice bit of fan service since it was a beach episode (so early!?). Those who enjoy girls having orgasms to getting sunblock put on them, rejoice! Today is your lucky day.

The episode was pretty decent. Showed a good bit of character development between the twins and show that they (as if it wasn't obvious) care about one another. I guess Tohka's used to sharing Shido with more grills, eh?

well, another mekakucity actors episode has come and gone, once again leaving me somewhat baffled as to how the story is progressing. i'm liking this anime because its so weird and confusing.

Damn. Chaika is already confirmed for a second season!

SERIOUSLY. The last episode just launched the show to a 9/10 or a 10/10 for me. It's utterly FANTASTIC.

It's got the humor of Baka and Test combined with the Plot twists and diabolical schemery of Code Geass and Death Note.

It's ANIME OF THE SEASON.

i really like SAO, it has so many good points, if only the aincrad arc was longer the show would easily be one of my top 10, but it doesn't :/ and that really makes me prefer log horizon for its plot. but like soul said, props for an awesome analysis of both shows.
