True, back when there was only one Sentinel (and how I hated those times.) However, after introduction, the Gallente Sentinel was 1/4 while Amarr Sentinel was 2/3. The slot layouts for those Sentinels were swapped later on while, it seems, the Heavy Frames weren't changed.

Which doesn't really make sense if Heavy Frames are supposed to be the starting point on becoming a Sentinel. Wouldn't making the Basics have less slots, like with the Basic Mediums and the Assaults, make more sense? Plus the Caldari and Minmitar Heavy Frames have the same slot layout as the Sentinels.
I think someone goofed. Simple as.

Same reason why the Caldari Scout hands were fixed, but the Caldari light frames still have Gallente hands in first person view.

I believe i asked this already, but i forgot, kush might have something to do with that.
I need a Dominus set up
My current fit is complex reps, complex reactives and an enhanced ferro with the rest the basic Imperial set up. It does good, but i need it to be better. I do wish that i did not spec out of Amarr Sentinel and specced into GalAss, now with that soon being FoTM and all. I need help, and I am prolonging this. I don't know why i am still typing, you get the gist of it. What is up with fans man? They just swirl hot air around....

Probably. Then people will realize that forge guns aren't an instant win butan, and that hitting that weakspot is a pain in the ass and then go back to swarms because tactical thought isn't particularly popular among dusties.

And Tankers will just say "Get gud." Probably cry if/when they get jumped by a full Forge squad and demand a Forge nerf.

Been running a few numbers in readiness for Foxfour and I realise that a trio of Proto BFGs have enough power to punch through a double hardened, double rep Madruger with full HP:
2300 + 5% ( damage mod) + 5% (Warbarge bonus) - 10% (vs Shields) deals 2282.175 damage. That would take out 1200 Shields with 1082.175 damage bleeding through to Armour. Apply two Hardeners (60.86% for both active) and that leaves 423.56
Remaining two BFGs work out as 2300 + 5% ( damage mod) + 5% (Warbarge bonus) + 15% (max Proficiency) + 10% (vs Armour) = 3207.72 each, or 6415.45
Factoring Hardeners in means 2511.01 damage applies to Armour. Add the bleed-through damage from the first BFG and the total is 2934.57 damage.
Two Hardeners and a Plate? Add another BFG. Two reps, a Hardener and a Plate? 3 BFG is enough.
Okay, so I'm late to party on seeing the gank potential of the BFG. If I made any mistakes, please feel free to correct them.

Seen quite a large increase in the number of Rail Rifles. Other than that, no real changes to how things go for me after only a day.

All my triple Myo Min Sent fits were Red this morning, but I was able to get the Assault HMG and Standard HMG versions to work by dropping the sidearm and changing the grenade. I simply deleted my triple Myo Burst HMG fit. Not going to give up the Sidearm when running Burst HMG, and I found that the Burst did not work well with the triple Myo fit anyway.
I have no real complaints in that regard. Triple Myo is a fringe fit, and you should have to give up something to run it.
I ended up playing a non Myo Assault HMG Min Sent fit based on Shield & Armor regen that I have not played in ages, and found it worked really well.
Have not had a chance to try the Magsec yet.

How are the heavies' survivability against Assault gk.0s with Creodron ARs? I feel as if the Forge Gun is the only reason to run heavy anymore.

milk deth certainly make an impression on me with his Plasma Cannon.
I have been killed a lot by Assault Rifles, but it just seems like they are more common now. Nothing so fare to lead me to think they are OP.
In that my last match I was mostly just killed over and over by milk deth and his Plasma Cannon. That guy has talent.

Interested in how the HMG is faring against the AR lately.

AHMG is OK but the sentinel is no longer king of any hill right now. Forge guns are still decent but the HMG seems to be back to it's chrome/uprising 1.0 marginal utility.
I'm going to let the meta settle and test a bunch more before I make that my final answer though. Too early and I haven't shaken off enough cobwebs.

Can you guys take a look at the conal dispersion on AHMG and HMG?
Its ridiculously inaccurate. Tap it in a standing position with wall being optimal and look at the trajectories.
CCP is ripping us off by penalizing initial accuracy and then applying overheat to shots that they intend for us to miss. Heat builds up too much before the cone stabilizes imo.
They need to tighten up the cone.
I'm prof 5 and the close range dispersion is affecting my ability to storm a staircase vs laserbeam ARs.
Thx

I need a few more matches to get an accurate assessment of the current state of the HMG. I have had quite a few matches recently that for one reason or another could not be taken as representative. This morning's match only had 3 enemies, and yesterday I had such a lucky streak that I could have closed my eyes, spun in a pirouette, pulled the trigger, and gotten a head shot kill.
