Dear players
We would like to request your feedback in this thread regarding pet peeves, bugs, small balance tweaks, small quality of life improvements etc. Please keep in mind that server side changes will be prioritized and that weGÇÿre not looking for massive sweeping changes in this thread. Try to keep discussion to a minimum: if you want to discuss a point, make a new thread in the Features and Ideas forum or use an existing one.
We will collect the feedback over the next days but this particular thread will have an expiration date. We will then remove the thread, harvest all unique ideas, evaluate them and inform you. The CPM will be heavily involved in this process. If you miss out this time, donGÇÿt worry; we will make a new thread at a later date if/when necessary. So get your feedback in as soon as possible!
Please limit each post to a maximum of 5 points, preferably with bullet points and keep it short. This thread will be heavily moderated if these simple rules are not being followed accordingly.

- Improve plasma cannon. Not just in balance, but in bugs as well - there are a number of bugs (excessive time before weapon switch not found on any other weapon, reload glitches, ghost projectiles) that have been floating around for a very long time.
- Improve assault class. Bonuses like on the Caldari/Gallente assaults don't really encourage use of them over Commandos or scouts. I would suggest an emphasis on regeneration speed - allowing constant aggression and assaults.
- Remove slowdown effect on being hit.
- Tone down HMG. That might be controversial but at the moment it basically instagibs any non-heavy, and while some believe 'It's meant to be this way' it was unaffected by the TTK changes which leaves it at a power extreme that I don't think should exist.
- Fix firing from cloak in some fashion. Instant decloak shotgun attacks aren't really very balanced.
I tried not to include things you'd touched on in other threads with the exception of the slowdown effect, because that's a disgusting mechanic.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

An option for players according to their preference that means they can choose to cycle through weapons only by tapping the cycle button, or weapon and equipment. Everyone wins. |

It's been a while since I last played but invisible swarms have made a reappearance. Also, it'd be great to have some tracers on forge and railgun shots because as I remember when I get hit by those, I only see a flash of blue on some part of my vehicle and I'm left guessing as to where it came from.
Something that's rather annoying: framerate drops when hit by swarms in first person. The blinding particle effects severely reduce my framerate (and it's the only thing I've noticed to slowdown my framerate in battle), which makes them last for too long of a time (I feel) which allows the swarm user to lock and fire another volley of swarms before the last particle effects clear up and I'm still disoriented and unable to gain my bearings in time before they jump back into cover.

Hello there,
Not sure if any of this is at all possible and prob won' t prove very popular in any case but would you be able to.....
- have a look at hit detection with sniper rifles
- Increase sniper rifle scope magnification at higher tier models (damage is fine imo)
- Stop the sniper scope targeting system from saying you can hit someone when they're behind a wall/terrain (is this maybe to do with rendering? I'm not really sure. Increased zoom might solve this)
- assign a cycle through equipment button (if there's not one already). The wheel thing can be a bit tricky at times.

#1 Remove/tone down snare effect when being hit (Especially for heavier frames with a larger hitbox).
#2 Buff assaults HP in order to close the HP gap between medium and heavy frames.
#3 Close down ISK gains in PC, change match set-up time to 15-20 minutes.
#4 Refund all SP for mercs on a weekly basis, since experimenting with builds is fun.

- Increase either AV grenade damage or increase the amount of AV grenades, having a close range counter to super high rep tanks is having something that can deal high damage up close, AV nades fit that category perfectly
- Give a minor damage buff to swarms, this is coming from a pilot, don't make the mistake of increasing a bunch of things at once, just one thing, small damage increase
- If there is only one thing you can do for dropship pilots, please reduce the collision damage with RDVs, at least give pilots a chance to recover instead of an instant death, this has been a common rage for pilots for over a year, it happen a lot with friendly RDVs when starting a match.

Equalize LP store costs. A module, when purchased from the LP store, equates to 'saving' 53 (on average) isk per LP spent over buying it from the normal Marketplace. Suits, on the other hand, 'save' you 73 isk per LP for Basic, 153 isk per LP for Advanced, and 316 isk per LP for Proto.
Also, simple payout increases in FW. At level 10, using those numbers, you max out making (without a booster) somewhere around 240,000 isk in LP, which is okay, but, I can make more isk in a pub rather easily.
I think I'm over Dust now...

For example, if I had two Mass Drivers, the max ammo pool would be 24 as opposed to 12.

Fix the damage scaling across AV weapons.
Swarms do 100%->125%->150%. Forge Guns do 100%->110%->120% Plasma Cannons do 100%->105%->110%
Because of the normal damage values, the non-proto swarms are pretty underwhelming, as are the non-basic PLCs. I made a suggestion on some values that fall in line with the Forge Gun's scaling.
Change projectile weapons so their damage profile isn't -5%/+10%.
Enable 16 man squads to queue for Faction Warfare. Praetorian mentioned this could possibly work during Fanfest.

1 Slow down turret rotations on madrugar a bit so tracking infantry is a bit harder 2 make collision on 3d decor less hurting for python, nimbness is ok but touch anything and instantly die, this is really sad and frustrating. |

1) missing Breach and Burst Scrambler Pistols at prototype level, despite it being in the SDE and having us look at them for so long just out of reach
2) The IA5 Tactical Scrambler Pistol being removed from the market during Uprising 1.0 yet still remaining a salvageable item: remove completely or add it back to the market. same for the C27-N Specialist Sniper Rifle.
3) Rendering ranges for the Sniper Rifle. Absolute need for your squad to use passive or active scanners before the enemies render.
4) putting SP in to shotguns past Operations (I) is wasteful. Number of shots to kill does not increase, rate of fire does not change. I'd like to have my shotgun's Rate of Fire bonus back instead of damage to shield bonus. (numbers and stuff https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=147892 )
5) Sniper Rifles do not do enough damage to be used as a viable weapon. They cannon be used in Planetary Conquest matches without the Officer variant. No other weapon is as limited in function as this one. Performace took another decrease since change to proficiency and even Thale's TAR-07 Sniper Rifle needs more than 1 headshot to kill a medium frame now. 5a) discussion of Sniper Rifle performance gets no attention from Devs and quickly brings in trolls and flaming when on the DUST514 forums.
6) Swarm Launcher's are out-ranged by a tank's blaster turret.
7) Swarm Launcher's rocket speed is too slow.
8) Passive Scans can see through Surface Installation structures but cannot see through static terrain. (e.g. a 20m thick wall does not inhibit passive scanning, but a small mound of dirt or the spires that shoot out of the ground on manus peak or any small hill completely blocks passive scans). This problem does not exist for Active Scanners
9) vehicle spam on Skirmish and Domination. You guys reduced the quota on Ambush, not tweak it on the other modes too.
10) take away the bleeps from Proximity explosives. They already do too little damage to matter and place more down in the same spot just makes the bleeps louder or more frequent.
11) the turbines that cause heat-damage from the new maps.
12) Assault Dropships' damage resistance to swarm launchers
13) lack of STD, ADV, and PRO Combat Rifles and Forge Guns in the Loyalty Store 13a) Lack of Passive Scanning modules in the Loyalty Store 13b) Lack of 1.8 items in the Loyalty Store
14) Lack of MLT variants of all weapons
15) No 'Templar' Commando A-1 15b) No 'Templar' Scout A-1
16) getting stuck on walls when moving backwards
17) 100% movement speed when going backwards. Please reduce to 80%.
18) Stun lock. high RoF weapons will always be better than breach variants because of the slowdown/seize mechanic tied to weapons.
19) Shield Extenders being less than 60% value of Armor Plates
20) Flaylock pistol explosions no longer affecting Dropship stability

In certain areas of some maps, players cannot walk over small steps ( like the transition from dirt to an installation area) without having to jump. So my merc of the future can run and sprint all over most steep terrain, but has to jump to cross a small step probably no larger than his foot, stupid really |

Already covered but 1. small increase in damage, range, speed of Swarms. 2. Eliminate warning of proxies and improve their reaction time. 3. Slow acceleration of tanks. 4. Lower damage of HMG slightly.
5.As far as swarms, the lock-on range only needs a small increase but they should be able to reach 400 meters if they already have a lock.
6.Sniper rifles could use a little damage increase.
7. The radial wheel is also glitchy when trying to drploy equipment quickly, it sometimes gives you the wrong equipment from what the wheel shows or you have to switch to weapon back and forth several times to deploy equipment.

- Fix railgun bugs (firing blanks, delayed shooting). Small railgun at least, i think large too.
- Make a different color scheme for prototype Commandos and Ion pistol.
- Reduce collision damage for dropships.
- Make it possible to know where you're actually getting hit from when in dropships (currently the indicator is crazy)
- Set a differential quota for vehicle types. (Suggestion: many LAVs, some Dropships, not so many HAVs) In all game modes.
- Add a feature to select from your contact list, corporation or alliance, when you compose a mail. |

Also, RDV's should not instakill any dropship. I hate having my match start out delayed because an RDV comes out of nowhere and bumps me, automatically killing my dropship.
As a pilot, I think the knockback effect of swarms needs to be cut down. However, I also think the damage of swarms could use a 5% or so buff.
Slowdown effect when hit with bullets. I know people have said it before me but it needs to go away. |

Balance would be finding a gal scout with the help of the precs mods, you can't scan a damp gal scout with 4 comp enhancers, even Gallogis can't scan them with their bonus to the proto scanner.

- Fix terrain issues (head glitch, quicksand, transparent barriers, etc)
- Fix Swarm Launcher lock on; lock cycle will sporadically break for no discernible reason. Lock cycle will sporadically not engage for no discernible reason.
- Fix DS 'road killing' friendlies as they disembark.
- Balance/fix the Combat Rifle - When even Mercs who don't enjoy it's play style are starting to skill into it for PC/FW matches to stay competitive it's a sign polish is needed.

There are a lot of balance ideas in this thread, rather than true 'small things'.
The most annoying 'small thing' for me is that I have a bunch of crap in inventory that I don't need. I am currently running ****-fits to burn through it since Fanfest and finding out that we will never have a player market in DUST. I would rather be able to sell it back to the NPC market, or even trash it since it is junking up my assets.
I am tired of scrolling through things that I don't want and can't sell. I am still a bit shocked that CCP created a "MMO" without a market. It's like Blizzard making an MMO without a themepark.

In game mechanics on the ground do not match the descriptions above, even if they did match that does not mean that the balance in degrees of effect are properly polished, furthermore the other assets I listed are not crossover assets (i.e. you cannot use an AV nade to cap an infantry merc, you cannot meaningfully harm an HAV with a Locus nade).
Going back to actual in game events, when REs can be deployed in such a manner that mercs in medium frames who see the RE before it touches ground cannot backpedal fast enough to survive its detonation. That is a repeatable effect I have seen, experienced, and been informed of by other players. At present the net tactical use of an RE can be closer to the former version of the contact nades than anything else currently in the game (with regards to tactical effect on the battle, not per se specific method of deployment). At present, especially when combined with assets like the cloak, or tactics such as high ground (or stacked with Proxies for use in AV), the RE is more effective at starting engagements than the Locus, and more likely/able to OHK those hostiles engaged.
Returning to the AV concept, aside from the "jack of all trades" effect REs have they also fill the role of AV nades better than the AV nade. Even with the disparity in applied DPS not withstanding, the major effective use of an AV nade (even prior to their more recent nerf) was to get in close or above a vehicle and rapidly deploy them in hopes of sufficient 'alpha damage' to remove the threat. This is precisely how the RE is employed as well when stuck onto a vehicle, furthermore it can be used to create mine fields (unlike the AV nade) and 'bomb LAVs' (unlike the AV nade). The RE also possesses another advantage over the AV nade in that it is apparent to a vehicle driver that an RE has been stuck to them than that they've just been hit with an AV nade and if a vehicle flees the scene prior to deploying all REs those REs can still be detonated at range, or saved for another attempt, while the AV nade is simply expended upon a missed toss.
On a final note, while REs should absolutely not be Frisbees and something needs to be looked at with regards to their deployment mechanics/trigger speed the rest of my comment doesn't imply the need for a nerf of the RE per se, simply that it is out of line with the rest of AV at this point in time. Frankly AV nades and swarms are both hardly useable even at the proto level against MLT HAVs, much less ADS. So while it is certainly the truth that REs shouldn't be better AV weapons than AV only weapons are, that doesn't translate to my statement meaning "the RE should be nerfed until it's damage is less than an AV nade" or any such thing.

1. Sloth-effect (client-side, but really important :P): While a character is getting hit by a weapon, its movement speed slows down.
Weapon-impact does not merely apply force (slightly pushing you away from the enemy) it also appears to reset any force applied by the controller. While the controller-force gets re-applied more or less instantly, the movement acceleration-delay means you won't reach your full speed before the next bullet hits, again resetting movement.
This means that weapon damage will slow you down even when you're running *away* from the enemy. If anything, getting hit from behind while running at full speed should mean you get further from the enemy. Currently, however, it more or less causes you to stop moving at all.
2. 'Templar' Scramber Pistol stats: The 'Templar' Scrambler Pistol has stats that match neither its meta level, nor its category.
The stats are identical to a Militia Scrambler Pistol (meta level 0). The 'Templar', on the other hand has meta level 3, suggesting it should be standard or slightly above. It is also listed alongside normal, non-militia gear.
The bad stats are its PG and CPU requirements.
I appreciate that it is a variant of the standard scrambler pistol, and that it does not necessarily need to have stats that are identical to it. Since it has a meta level that is higher than the standard variants (all Templar gear is meta 3) and just below advanced pistols, its overall stats should, however, at least be on par with the basic 'Scrambler Pistol'. |

Let's see: - Fix the AV category (PLC could get more damage without affecting its effect on infantry, proximity mines are broken from what I've heard and AV grenades are a joke)
- Changes to the starter fits (Make the medic into a militia Logi, make the AV fit something that can actually take down vehicles instead of taunting new players, equip all fits with race-specific weapons)
- Make basic suits viable Either reduce price to be cheaper than specializations or keep the price and add slots/functionality. For example: Basic Medium with a second equipment slot, to give an introduction to Logi gameplay as well as Assault. A light weapon slot (instead of secondary) on the Basic Heavy, to add Commando functionality. Something to make the Basic Light less fragile than a Scout. Maybe just an armor increase. Does the thing even have a second equipment slot? In this case, I'd wager that not having one is a good thing. The extra slots would be balanced out by role bonuses for specializations. A commando Sentinel is still worse at soaking than a Sentinel and worse at damage dealing than a Commando... The HMG might be worrying, which is fixed by already lacking the module slots necessary for heavy tanking, in addition to not having the role bonus. And an HMG without armor isn't really all that scary. It's basically a less sneaky shotgun.
- Give passive SP for ALL characters. It's not like there's any limit to how many accounts someone might have, anyway. It would also increase incentive to buy even more passive boosters.
- Change the sway while moving/sway while activating scope as a sniper, to make the weapon more viable as fire support. Currently it encourages camping way too much and is rarely fun to use. I would also the chance to have easier access to Thale's users. If this doesn't work, give snipers a bigger kill assist bonus to encourage a support role. |

I don't know if this is possible server side, but I would like a small change to Assault Dropships in first person mode. Currently the turret reticule is directly in the centre of the screen. Aiming at ground troops causes a lot of unnecessary forward momentum and is wholly responsible for my crazy dropship flying style .
The aiming reticule needs to be moved lower down the screen. An example of this in another game is the Little Bird helicopter in Battlefield 3 (I've not played 4 so I don't know it it's the same there). Having a turret lower on the screen will greatly increase the effectiveness of air to ground combat in first person view. Most good pilots in Dust fly in third person anyway, although it would be nice if the few of us who stick to first person can get a bit of love.
Like I said, I don't know it it's possible server side, but I can't imagine why any pilot would disagree with this change if it happens. Since the turret can be manually operated vertically in in third person, it may be possible to change the default turret aiming position in first person. Of course, if the first person HUD and turret reticule is just a static image then I may be out of luck for a server side change, but I might never know without asking ;) |

Vehicle Scan Profiles are too low. They do not show up on passive scan until just about on top of you. Some of my fits can see scouts on mini-map at a greater distance than HAVs.
Sell useless salvage/rewards to NPC market for reduced price. At the very least, let us melt them down (delete).
Small increase to nanohive war point rewards. It is common to have a map filled with high-reward uplinks and very few hives for ammo resupply.
[*] This is probably too big for Little Things... Randomize spawn points for installations such as turrets, ammo resupply, etc. Keep the basic locations as they currently are on maps (no change to the map itself), just randomize what spawns in those footprints. This would provide at least a little more variety considering there will be no new maps anytime soon. |

(okay, that would be a big project)

Quicksand effect when being shot. Tankers believing they should be invulnerable to anything less than 3 Proto'd AV players. Shotgunners saying shotguns are UP when they have been OP for over a year and hit detection is the only thing that has kept them in their place. Dropships that can move faster than Swarms and then when their afterburner is on cooldown just fly straight up and cant be shot by anyone. Tank railguns have such pathetic range. Swarms having such pathetic range (its well under 200m now, I couldn't lock anything outside of 150m to 175m last night). Giving Caldari Scouts stronger passive scans than active scanners used to be directly after nerfing active scanners for being too powerful. Double nerfing (flaylock). I could list a million others. Play the game for a week straight for at least 8 hours a day and youll realize what sucks with the game. And play more than 1 role.

1) Don't change anything related to AV other than MAYBE a 3rd AV nade or an addition 20% damage to existing nades. Everything else is balanced as many players who have played with me have seen. Please don't listen to these crybabies about swarms. I am effective with swarms when the time is suitable to use them. Breach Forge can one shot some tanks. I mean, just thinking about the cry babies makes me sick.
2) De-cloaking should remove half of the cloak meter. This allows for the sneak attack but doesn't allow for continuous sneak attacks by scouts. My other suggestions would be client required. This, theoretically, should be server side.
3) Remove second equipment slot from scouts and 1 additional LS or HS module. They have too many modules for those small suits it just doesn't make sense
4) Huge SP events...period. The game is ending. I want to have proto ADS's and Tanks and weapons and suits (of things I don't already have obviously) so everyone can proto party the last 6 months the game is alive.
5) Weapons are balanced. The Gal Assault makes the AR practically OP so it's pointless to "fix" the AR and give Gal Assaults some crazy side shooting abilities. Weapons are actually relatively balanced. Leave them alone please....PLEASE. I am sure many people would attest to it if they cared to be on the forums.

It doesn't change anything though. I take out tanks. I make ADS run unless they are FULL proto and very skilled. And I do it with only 3 points in Swarms and run AUR proto Swarms. It's because I choose timing and position.

Please address Min scout's weakness: sneaking with a knife is impossible if everything is scanned by omniscient Cal Scouts. Min scouts are not competitive in PC because of this problem. An easy fix would be to give stealth bonus while wielding the knife.

-I know you can't properly implement an accept revive button, but you did have it so you can only inject people that requested a revive. I would like to see that returned along with a fix to ghost needle icons.
-The snare effect and the sprint glitch really mess with survivability especially against projectile weapons.
-Increase projectile speeds of swarms and plasma launchers. I'm also not sure if swarms are supposed to have a reduced efficiency on dropships.
-Make the ion pistol a good weapon. It shouldn't overheat by simply trying to rapidly shoot it and the skill should reduce cooldown time after a charge shot by 10% per level. Overheat time after level 5 would be 1.75 seconds which is nothing compare to the scrambler getting a larger clip size.
-Keep items coming to the loyalty store. You could make it so winning enough battles will add more items for the loyalty store and these could be temporary based on how much control the race has. For instance, if the minmatar own enough districts a myofibril with stamina regen will be available.
-I would like to see more use of the special battles tab. Special matches like the squad cup, or the dev ambush that had 450 clones were great. This is probably hoping for too much, but I would like to see an attempt at running a 48 player battle. |

If you can't give nova knives a lunge feature you might consider letting one sprint whilst charging although personally I think that will be OP (I've been a full time nova knifer since last respec, part time before that, minnie V prof 4 knives).
Alternatively how about giving backwards movement a 20% speed reduction compared to forward movement? Currently you can move as fast backwards as you can forwards, sprint not included ofc.

-Figure out what is wrong with the phantom revive glitch (icon in HUD, but clone has been terminated) and let us know if there's a way to fix it. (For those that don't know, please see this video: http://youtu.be/UnXdPM5ridc)
-Increase range of revive icons and health bars displayed while using a repair tool (current limit is 40 meters, needs to be at least 100...to be the same distance out as our minimap/radar)
-Increase rewards for using better nanite injectors...basic 60, advanced 80, proto 100 wp. Reason: using a basic nanite injector is better than proto because proto injector denies you triage warpoints when using a repair tool afterwards. Using a basic gives you more warpoints than the proto injector.
-Figure out why Nanocircuitry (the skill that unlocks injectors and nanohives) still gives a 5% CPU reduction per level to both nanohives and injectors despite the absense of this bonus in the skill description. If this is INTENTIONAL, please add this to the skill description and give us your opinion on why the other equipment skills do not get a bonus like this. If this is NOT INTENTIONAL, please give us your plans for when it will be removed from the game. One weapon issue that hasn't been mentioned:
-Bolt Pistols (and possibly the other new pistols as well) are capped at a certain range instead of having an effective range/maximum range like other weapons do. In other words, the bolt pistol does 0 damage at long ranges because the round literally just disappears after about 50 or so meters. I believe someone mentioned in a thread a long time ago that the value for effective/maximum range is actually set to something like -1 or 0 when they looked at the SDE.

Though i doubt this would be possible, but fix the default frontline and medical suits to use a ratial rifle. Assault would stay for Gal, combat for Min, laser for Amarr, rails for Cal.
I'm not saying switch to the actual rifle that requires level 1 skill, but a simple militia version, reusing whatever model you need. It will help starting players get use to and potentially level their racial rifle and add a little diversity to the game. |

I am the only one in the corp that can't hear or chat. when 1.8 was deployed the voce chat was fixed and I had hour of play with proper coms. than on one server update when you fixed the problem with skills not starting on deployment my voice chat totally disappear and now like a month i dont have it. once I was kiked out from a squad due to not being able to hear squad leader instructions. |

Buffing the plasma cannon and flaylock pistol would be cool, but I'd be careful not to make it OP if you do get around to it.

Ok after playing more I am certain that..
[1] - Tanks are too fast for sure. There acceleration needs to be reduced. This would help a long way towards balance without changing too much about the tanks otherwise.
[2] - The Combat Rifle (Especially the Assault variant) really do fire too fast in comparison to other weapons in its class. A RoF reduction would be welcome for sure. The standard combat rifle doesn't even need to be ADS half the time as the hip-fire is so good. This weapon, along with the HMG, especially benefits from the 'slow down while shot' mechanic.... this brings me to point 3.
[3] - Totally remove the slow down when hit mechanic. It needs to go.
[4] - The breach forge gun (possibly breach weapons in general) are lack lustre. Granted, I love my breach is does great damage. It has the downside of a longer charge time which is fine however the fact that you are stuck in place with the Breach forge while charging / charged is too much of a penalty.
My suggestion for the breach forge is - let us move while we charge the forge , but limit that movement so it is still a drawback vs other forge guns. The fact that you are routed in place is just too much I think. |

Of all my requests for Dust I would like to see an endpoint opened up for tracking individual player battle taxes with some type of 3rd party tool. With an endpoint that could be accessed by an eve capsuleer to feed an existing api system (seems like the easiest way to proceed), a contribution tracking tool could allow players at all levels of Dust/Eve corporation to check their contribution level to corporation and even gauge contribution between members thus stirring up some healthy competition.

Couple Little Things I would like to see:
- Fitting Folders (either custom, or at least by suit and vehicle type. such as whats shown in vehicles in battle, but faster)
- Sniper Rifle Zoom, either a Smooth Zoom in/out, or a few zoom settings (Like the sniper rifle from halo), with more zoom capability than they have now (especially on the higher end models).
- Ability to avoid OMS or Non OMS Ambush matches (like when Ambush OMS was considered a separate game mode)
- Tagging of targets, even if just for snipers...give them a chance to provide intel if they don't have comms (play with a sniper who doesn't have a PS3 mic, and comp is too far away to be useful)
- Proper signature radii on Vehicles...a can passive scan out most uncloaked scouts behind me, but a tank can approach unnoticed if I don't have sound on (which sometimes I need to turn it off).

Increase the salvage drop rate across the board. Double it for everything. Without a player market incoming, this is the only way to get rare gear. And as a match bonus, it would be a nice reward for playing. Quality of life improvement, everyone gets a present.
Also, if you could add other rare gear to the roulette that would be ideal. Things like Black Eagle Scout Suits, HEP Biotic mods, and HK4M Shotguns. These things were typically reserved for community events rewards, but now that seems less likely overall.
ALTERNATIVELY: Put all these things in the Marketplace. Just give us a chance to acquire all the gear in the game. I'd prefer the salvage roulette to be enhanced, because it increases anticipation for reward at the end of a match, but either is a welcomed fix. |

Since I don't know what "server side changes" entail, I will list my biggest concerns/desires.
-Bring back skirmish 1.0
-Optimize terrain (2inch barriers you cant sprint over) EX: Ashland objective C (i7), where the dirt road meets the concrete you have to jump over.
-Improve automatic reload animations (there is a delay when you fully empty your weapon before it reloads; it should do so immediately after it is empty. Often times I wonder why my gun is not shooting before I realize that it hasn't yet started the reload animation.)
-Remove "stun-lock" and all variations of sprint bugs.
-Continue to improve hit detection. I still get shield/armor flashes and no damage is done.
-Improve performance in PC battles. Lag is still a constant nuisance and influences the outcome of battles.

the two missing heavy weapons? take and remake two weapons whos abilities would be good for a heavy weapon lascannon-amarr heavy weapon-anti vehicle, sniping heavys plasma cannon-gallente heavy weapon-normal fire for infintry, charge shot for vehicles

6.hit detection on most weapons but particularly with the sniper rifles. (blue shield flare but no damage, shoot a target standing still and get no hit, see no orange x when you shoot a moving target, needing to cycle to sidearm and shoot to be able to get hit detection back.)
7. shotguns being way too overused, although I appreciate people should be able to play how they want but this is clearly due to an o.p weapon.
8. a shotgun can kill a decent heavy with 3 shots. a charge rifle (don't forget that's the highest sr damage you can buy) at maximum damage (I do mean that too) doing headshots takes 3-4 (but again see number 3)
9.better scopes for sniper rifles or at least options or adjustment
10.new vantage points in maps- there aren't enough options.
11. two heavy weapons missing. please bring them in soon |

I know I already listed 5 things I like to see fixed but I was just thinking about this and felt if it didn't get mentioned I should.
1. I think Scans from Active Scanners should reveal targets for all team members with a wp reward same as if you were in a squad.
2. This one is for consideration for project legion development. Add deployable turrets (not the current installations) as equipment to throw down and other defense oriented equipment like shield barriers and ECMs like radar jammers.
3. Remove ability to switch fits at supply depots. Add it to CRUs instead. That or add a delay after you switch to prevent players from spamming fits to insta-heal themselves. |

- shield extenders should be 22, 44, and 66 instead.
- Shield rechargers/energizer need a small buff and need to be low slot modules.
- Shield regulators need a big buff.
These changes would incentivize shield tankers to not dual tank. Also
- Rebalance medium frames like you said you would do (PG/CPU, slots, HP)
In 1.8 heavies and scouts got their slots and racial tank type fixed to make sense, but for meduim frames, they are broken; Minmatar assaults have a Caldari slot layout and Amarr assaults have a Minmatar slot layout. Give basic medium frames a second equipment slot and assaults another high/low slot. A more detailed thread here and has reasons why.
- Rebalance 60mm armor plate HP, so that it has a consitent HP increase
- Add more stats on the fitting screen
Add back the burst SMG (was in beta) and the new tactical SMG (from the SDE)
- Change the projectile damage profile from the unbalanced -5% damage to shields and +10% damage to armor to -5%/+5%.
- Lower the insane assault dropship costs
- Increase MD and HMG efficacy on vehicles
- It would be cool if we had Nova Knives Fitting Optimization skill
- Vehicle specific quotas
- Add 'zealot' variants for energy weapons
- Increase Breach Shotgun Clip Size
- Rebalance the FW contract payouts, right now, compared to public contracts, they are high risk and give low rewards.
- Make equipment deployed by squad members green on the cortex, mini-map, and overview map.
- Fix RDV colision damage.
- Change large railgun damage profile to -10%/+10% shield/armor. Right now as a hybrid rail turret they have a bonus for shield damage which goes against the established damage profiles for weapon types.
- Increase heavy frame jump height
- Increase number of carried AV grenades to 3.
- Add more passive skills for vehicles
- Add militia versions of each weapon
- Buff Myofib stim bonus

This thread is FILLED with things which are not small at all. but here's my small thing:
I'd like to see all PG and CPU fitting numbers multiplied by 10. Then the fitting skills would actually make a difference! Most standard weapons don't get any benefit from a 5% per level reduction in PG until level 4. Some get never get any benefit even at level 5.

Stop people farming isk by creating new characters and transferring the isk over before bio massing.
Just start characters with 0 isk. It's easy enough for a new player to earn isk for skill books.
Why don't you give new players some free aurum instead. It would get them used to using it therefore encouraging them to buy more. |
