Guess you won't be reading bugs reports on dust514.com/user/bugs/ anymore, so I'll repost it here:
1. Sloth-effect (client-side, but really important :P): While a character is getting hit by a weapon, its movement speed slows down.
Weapon-impact does not merely apply force (slightly pushing you away from the enemy) it also appears to reset any force applied by the controller. While the controller-force gets re-applied more or less instantly, the movement acceleration-delay means you won't reach your full speed before the next bullet hits, again resetting movement.
This means that weapon damage will slow you down even when you're running *away* from the enemy. If anything, getting hit from behind while running at full speed should mean you get further from the enemy. Currently, however, it more or less causes you to stop moving at all.
2. 'Templar' Scramber Pistol stats: The 'Templar' Scrambler Pistol has stats that match neither its meta level, nor its category.
The stats are identical to a Militia Scrambler Pistol (meta level 0). The 'Templar', on the other hand has meta level 3, suggesting it should be standard or slightly above. It is also listed alongside normal, non-militia gear.
The bad stats are its PG and CPU requirements.
I appreciate that it is a variant of the standard scrambler pistol, and that it does not necessarily need to have stats that are identical to it. Since it has a meta level that is higher than the standard variants (all Templar gear is meta 3) and just below advanced pistols, its overall stats should, however, at least be on par with the basic 'Scrambler Pistol'. |

Let's see: - Fix the AV category (PLC could get more damage without affecting its effect on infantry, proximity mines are broken from what I've heard and AV grenades are a joke)
- Changes to the starter fits (Make the medic into a militia Logi, make the AV fit something that can actually take down vehicles instead of taunting new players, equip all fits with race-specific weapons)
- Make basic suits viable Either reduce price to be cheaper than specializations or keep the price and add slots/functionality. For example: Basic Medium with a second equipment slot, to give an introduction to Logi gameplay as well as Assault. A light weapon slot (instead of secondary) on the Basic Heavy, to add Commando functionality. Something to make the Basic Light less fragile than a Scout. Maybe just an armor increase. Does the thing even have a second equipment slot? In this case, I'd wager that not having one is a good thing. The extra slots would be balanced out by role bonuses for specializations. A commando Sentinel is still worse at soaking than a Sentinel and worse at damage dealing than a Commando... The HMG might be worrying, which is fixed by already lacking the module slots necessary for heavy tanking, in addition to not having the role bonus. And an HMG without armor isn't really all that scary. It's basically a less sneaky shotgun.
- Give passive SP for ALL characters. It's not like there's any limit to how many accounts someone might have, anyway. It would also increase incentive to buy even more passive boosters.
- Change the sway while moving/sway while activating scope as a sniper, to make the weapon more viable as fire support. Currently it encourages camping way too much and is rarely fun to use. I would also the chance to have easier access to Thale's users. If this doesn't work, give snipers a bigger kill assist bonus to encourage a support role. |

I don't know if this is possible server side, but I would like a small change to Assault Dropships in first person mode. Currently the turret reticule is directly in the centre of the screen. Aiming at ground troops causes a lot of unnecessary forward momentum and is wholly responsible for my crazy dropship flying style .
The aiming reticule needs to be moved lower down the screen. An example of this in another game is the Little Bird helicopter in Battlefield 3 (I've not played 4 so I don't know it it's the same there). Having a turret lower on the screen will greatly increase the effectiveness of air to ground combat in first person view. Most good pilots in Dust fly in third person anyway, although it would be nice if the few of us who stick to first person can get a bit of love.
Like I said, I don't know it it's possible server side, but I can't imagine why any pilot would disagree with this change if it happens. Since the turret can be manually operated vertically in in third person, it may be possible to change the default turret aiming position in first person. Of course, if the first person HUD and turret reticule is just a static image then I may be out of luck for a server side change, but I might never know without asking ;) |

Bring back variation in turrets i.e. Scattered Ion Cannon, XT-1 Accelerated Missle.
Bring back Marauder tanks, and Enforcer tanks too.
That last one could be a bit tricky.

Having it like it was when 1.7 first released was the absolute worst, and I'm a tanker! It was awful having AV just bounce off of me, there was no challenge
However, on the flip side, I don't want to be 3-hit from proto swarms either.

Lets say you spent your hard earned SP on proto rail gun turrets and your range was nerfed to what a basic rail gun is seems a bit unfair to the guy who invested in the skill of proto railguns . My tank is basicly the same as a guy out of the academy. Need to tweek the ranges on everything.

Vehicle Scan Profiles are too low. They do not show up on passive scan until just about on top of you. Some of my fits can see scouts on mini-map at a greater distance than HAVs.
Sell useless salvage/rewards to NPC market for reduced price. At the very least, let us melt them down (delete).
Small increase to nanohive war point rewards. It is common to have a map filled with high-reward uplinks and very few hives for ammo resupply.
[*] This is probably too big for Little Things... Randomize spawn points for installations such as turrets, ammo resupply, etc. Keep the basic locations as they currently are on maps (no change to the map itself), just randomize what spawns in those footprints. This would provide at least a little more variety considering there will be no new maps anytime soon. |

Yes the skill of the driver has a little to do with it but you can run around in basic tank gear what any academy grad can get his hands on and take out guys in proto tank gear that costs 20 times the amount in ISK. How is that fair to the proto tanker?

1. Re-balance all items (weapons, modules, equipment) with a single pattern of advancement. For example ADV is 20% better than STD, but PRO is only 5-10% better than ADV. Then make minor tweaks if needed. Prototype gear should offer a slight advantage at a premium, not be vastly superior or pointless. Advanced gear should be competitive in most situations. (okay, that would be a big project)
2. Nova knife charged sprinting.
3. Vehicle/AV balance. Fun for both.
4. Some ability to liquidate assets (since no market/trade).
5. Make PC a money sink rather than a money maker.

Quicksand effect when being shot. Tankers believing they should be invulnerable to anything less than 3 Proto'd AV players. Shotgunners saying shotguns are UP when they have been OP for over a year and hit detection is the only thing that has kept them in their place. Dropships that can move faster than Swarms and then when their afterburner is on cooldown just fly straight up and cant be shot by anyone. Tank railguns have such pathetic range. Swarms having such pathetic range (its well under 200m now, I couldn't lock anything outside of 150m to 175m last night). Giving Caldari Scouts stronger passive scans than active scanners used to be directly after nerfing active scanners for being too powerful. Double nerfing (flaylock). I could list a million others. Play the game for a week straight for at least 8 hours a day and youll realize what sucks with the game. And play more than 1 role.

-Give us an actual matchmaking system. One that isn't q-sync to win. One that pits people with similar total SP amounts to other people around their SP total, not the current one that pits 20-50mil SP vets against an entire team of noobs with barely 1mil SP.

Those numbers are fairly conservative, but it's better to start small. |

1) Don't change anything related to AV other than MAYBE a 3rd AV nade or an addition 20% damage to existing nades. Everything else is balanced as many players who have played with me have seen. Please don't listen to these crybabies about swarms. I am effective with swarms when the time is suitable to use them. Breach Forge can one shot some tanks. I mean, just thinking about the cry babies makes me sick.
2) De-cloaking should remove half of the cloak meter. This allows for the sneak attack but doesn't allow for continuous sneak attacks by scouts. My other suggestions would be client required. This, theoretically, should be server side.
3) Remove second equipment slot from scouts and 1 additional LS or HS module. They have too many modules for those small suits it just doesn't make sense
4) Huge SP events...period. The game is ending. I want to have proto ADS's and Tanks and weapons and suits (of things I don't already have obviously) so everyone can proto party the last 6 months the game is alive.
5) Weapons are balanced. The Gal Assault makes the AR practically OP so it's pointless to "fix" the AR and give Gal Assaults some crazy side shooting abilities. Weapons are actually relatively balanced. Leave them alone please....PLEASE. I am sure many people would attest to it if they cared to be on the forums.

You suck is all. Just accept that you suck at AV and it ends there. I don't suck at AV. I just don't and I see tons of people that don't. I play with them regularly. I see those people that are really patient with their Breach FG and one shot finish tank after tank after tank.
In the end you are terrible at AV and likely overestimate your own ability as a tanker and should just accept that is the case. You were NEVER meant to be good at AV unless they make it easy for you.
Played about 12 matches today...Destroyed about 8 tanks and multiple LAV's. Some fully solo, some after being fluxed or forged or after they got out of another tank fight. It doesn't change anything though. I take out tanks. I make ADS run unless they are FULL proto and very skilled. And I do it with only 3 points in Swarms and run AUR proto Swarms. It's because I choose timing and position.
Again, You suck at AV and should just accept that fact. Stop ruining a perfectly good game because you suck. Ruin it by hacking it. Ruin it by being a troll. I don't care. But don't ruin a balanced situation because you suck.

1) Breach SG
2) PLC
Please address Min scout's weakness: sneaking with a knife is impossible if everything is scanned by omniscient Cal Scouts. Min scouts are not competitive in PC because of this problem. An easy fix would be to give stealth bonus while wielding the knife.
PLC, NK, Scout - before 1.8.

Fix the rail guns in tanks a tank size generator cannot support a full auto fire rail gun i suggest allow rail guns to shot at 600 meters again but decrease the rate of fire DRASTICLY and increase dmg slightly to compensated for slow recharge of shot
Increase overly hit points of suits every tier example ( basic 200/150, adv 300/250, proto 400/350) this way it gives the feel of actual technical advancements per tier

-I know you can't properly implement an accept revive button, but you did have it so you can only inject people that requested a revive. I would like to see that returned along with a fix to ghost needle icons.
-The snare effect and the sprint glitch really mess with survivability especially against projectile weapons.
-Increase projectile speeds of swarms and plasma launchers. I'm also not sure if swarms are supposed to have a reduced efficiency on dropships.
-Make the ion pistol a good weapon. It shouldn't overheat by simply trying to rapidly shoot it and the skill should reduce cooldown time after a charge shot by 10% per level. Overheat time after level 5 would be 1.75 seconds which is nothing compare to the scrambler getting a larger clip size.
-Keep items coming to the loyalty store. You could make it so winning enough battles will add more items for the loyalty store and these could be temporary based on how much control the race has. For instance, if the minmatar own enough districts a myofibril with stamina regen will be available.
-I would like to see more use of the special battles tab. Special matches like the squad cup, or the dev ambush that had 450 clones were great. This is probably hoping for too much, but I would like to see an attempt at running a 48 player battle. |
