I feel similarly like a regular assault, but when I start hacking and see my gloves I am reminded that I am actually a badass assault. The only times I really run Assault anymore is when I need to get some uplinks out, I don't find the Commando very ideal for uplink usage.

True, I think Kierkegaard has an uplink commando so I guess it's not to bad to use

I think at least part of my issue is uplinks are CPU intensive and I'm already running dual laser weaponry which is also CPU intensive. Can only fit so much stuff on a Commando.

Yeah I know.
And as a bit of forewarning, I'm probably going to put Aero on a Commando hiatus for awhile and focus points on scouts. But fear not, I have a 12 million SP alt that I would use for my Commando in the meantime (probably Gal or Cal Commando). And then eventually once I get enough SP on Aero I will return him to the Amarr Commando.

Scrambler rifles and scrambler pistols are both pulse lasers. Thus the bonus will also apply to scrambler rifles, but not the scrambler pistol as it states "light laser weapons"

Some people may not have noticed that the prices have been reduced for commandos.
No longer are they obscenely overpriced for no reason. They are in line with all other suits.
If you are swimming in ISK, it probably does not matter. But for us poor/stingy people, it can mean the difference between being able to afford to run commando/not being able to.
Still, a fitted commando will still probably be more expensive than a different role of the same tier and similar fittings. Those light weapons are expensive... |

I don't know if I count, I've only been using it about a week. I got sick of so many maps having open area where my HMG is useless, and I just couldn't bring myself to equip a light weapon on my Sentinel. I run a SCR/LR combo.

This i totally understand, what i mean to say is that from what I have seen, Rynoceros has a style that will suit the Commando well, with some adaptation. Everything requires adaptation out there.

I've done a little work in Aurum and LP Commandos. I really liked running around with an AR and having a shotgun as a sidearm.
